Lakefront Property on Siesta Key Among Tropical Landscape W/ Heated Pool

This is a one bedroom one bathroom unit furnished with king-size bed in the private bedroom and queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room accommodating up to four persons. The living room is furnished with a 40" flatscreen TV with HD programing. The kitchen is equipped with 4-burner gas range, refrigerator, and microwave among other small kitchen appliances. just outside your unit there is a small deck furnished with two chairs to sit out and possibly enjoy a coffee on a cool morning before hitting the beaches.

The complex offers a swimming pool great for cooling off in the heat of the summer but also heated during the winter months for year round enjoyment. There are several grills in the grilling area of the property just off of the bank of Herron Lagoon. Plenty of lounge chairs and seating around the pool and large deck area for sun bathing lakeside.

The property is located just under 10 minutes from the following. Under 1 mile to the nearest beach which is Turtle Beach, 1.5 miles to the nearest restaurants and shops, 3 miles to Siesta Key's main public beach, and 4 miles to Siesta Key Village. The island offers many options of free ride services (tips only) to take you around the island.

Just over the bridge back onto the mainland you will find a myriad of additional restaurant, shopping, and entertainment options.

Nice but lacking in the kitchen

We liked the unit. The kids loved the pool. The photos made it seem like their was a launch area but there wasn’t. The kitchen had no utensils so don’t go there expecting to cook.

great place

This was a little gem. It was surrounded with care by landscaping and a great pool. All amenities were as indicated. It was very clean. Bed was awesome - not hard like a hotel... We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Good location, but a few issues

We booked this property for 3 nights in 2020. The location was great and provided access to multiple beaches on Siesta Key. The unit was tidy, with a useful working kitchen. While our experience overall was positive, there are a few items that need to be addressed to make the unit optimal: - The bed is unusable. It sags significantly in the middle, making for a terrible sleeping experience. - The AC is provided by a single ceiling unit in the common room. Cool air does not flow easily into the bedroom, where it can get very warm at night. - The coffee maker is a Keurig, with no capsules available at check-in. Visitors should bring their own capsules, or expect to drive a mile to pick-up coffee from town.

Easy to park in front of unit-good neighbors-friendly and respectful. Washer and dryer available was great . ONLY notes for Joe-expected more than the one beach towel. I could have brought a few from home -but didn't and had to buy a few in town. Also-check refrig thermostat-it stated it was at 37*-but seemed to be closer to 45 +. Overall great property and experience.

We drove to the beach every day and then swam in the pool and went into the lagoon on the canoes, it's a great deal for the price if you don't mind being a little away from the action (which we prefer). You could bike to Turtle Beach easily!

Good Location

Reviewer Comments: There was no check in, was given a code to open the door. Upon arrival, the name on the sign outside and the name on my paperwork was not the same. Wanted to make sure I was at the correct place so I called the only phone number I could find for assistance and no one ever returned my call. Located in a very nice quiet area, room was clean and updated, the bed was very comfortable but the outside areas need some attention.

Yearly florida vaca

Reviewer Comments: Very quality kitchen remodel. nice,well kept and clean.We would stay again.Pictures are somewhat deceiving because we thought the pool was out our door shared by 3 units.Actually the flip flop cottages are 5 units right next to reach other.A motel atmosphere and pool is in rear surrounded by 3 other units(not ours which I thought from pic).pool for all 8+ bikes that we could see.must rent from local shop.

Did not understand instructions on how to get into room on arrival. Had to get help from nice neighbor.
