Location is fantastic. Host was very accessible. Unit looked like the pictures and was very clean. There was rain and the parking area flooded a bit and it was difficult to access the entry. This is our second stay at Cocoloba and we will be coming back again.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would stay there again. The beach, restaurant, food/drink trucks and available beach activities offered were fantastic! The property we stayed in could have used some updated appliances. One night, it rained fairly hard and the entire front steps flooded. There was about 3-4 inches of water covering the road, making it impossible to get to the car to leave. They should have a pump to remove the water. All the household appliances were old. The refrigerator door doesn't close properly, the coffee maker is old and cheap, the microwave had rust, the dryer had rust and did heat up properly. We could have used additional sheets to change the beds and maybe a cordless vacuum to remove the daily beach sand.
Great place @ Crash Boat. The property is great for family, friends or couples. Comfortable, very clean and the location is priceless. We will definitely come back and recommend it to friends. Management is on-site to deal with any situation you may encounter. For me and my family was a great experience.

Right on the beach. Nothing else needs to be said. Oh just one little thing, granted beach chairs can be rented on the beach. The property could use some beach chairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay ..
This property is right on crash boat beach! The condo was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms had a convenient closet storage system. If you use GPS to find the place I suggest you use crash boat beach and not the property address for navigation. It was quiet at night and the sunsets were amazing.
Great place , exactly what we wanted. Unit was beautiful inside. Everything we needed. Host go way over in making your stay perfect. Staff were wonderful. 😎
This is a beach lovers dream you are literally steps away from the sand. The apartment was very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly we will definitely be back. You will not be disappointed booking with Cocoloba
Perfect location to enjoy the beach life. We never left the beach for our stay. Food trucks and restaurant provided what we needed!!! I miss it already
Amazing location and exactly what we had envisioned for an incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating stay. It was literally steps from the gorgeous beach where we were able to enjoy the abundant sun and water. Coral, the General Manager, was exceptional in her attention to detail to ensure we had a perfect experience including yoga on the beach and a massage. We will definitely stay again.
This was me and my wife’s first time in Puerto Rico. The property was a little difficult to find by looking t the address, it was easier to put in the gps as playa crash boat and it took you straight to the property location. Everyone was extremely friendly, the beach was amazing, the customer service was responsive, we felt safe the entire time. Overall it was an amazing stay.
Amazing place to spend qualtiy time with family right in front of the Crash Boat beach. Entire unit exceeded expectations! Strongly recommended! The host was available at all time!
We stayed here with 3 couples for 4 nights and it was just the best waking up to the ocean and taking a morning walk on the beach!! The second bathroom that just got added was great for 6 adults. Coral was great and super responsive to our questions/needs!! The unit could use updated kitchen knives, pans, etc. And if your a light sleeper, bring ear plugs…… there’s a rooster up the hill that goes off ALL NIGHT LONG, but ear plugs worked great for myself. And the location makes up for it 🧡
This is a comfortable apartment that is beautifully decorated and right on the beach. The location is amazing and the apartment has just about anything you would need to be comfortable and content. Everything was perfect, until it rained. The rain flooded the whole "front yard". There was easily 3 inches of water covering the entire outside of the home. To be clear the inside of the home was fine (except for a small leak in the hallway), but the second you stepped off the porch you were in 3-4 inches of slippery muddy water. This made getting to the beach, your car, or anywhere except the home a total pain. To make things worse once you waded through the slippery mud water to get back to the home there is nothing to clean up with, no rug, no mat, no foot bath, we ended up using one of the beach towels to sop up the mess prior to rinsing off in the shower. Its really a bummer because if it didnt rain this would have been the perfect stay. I hope the owners look at fixing their drainage issues or at a minimum getting a hose or foot bath outside the home.
This casita is fantastic. Its location literally on one of Puerto Rico's most iconic beaches is as good as it gets. The property is meticulously maintained and beautifully decorated. There is a king sized bed and cute bunk beds and 2 bathrooms. It looks to be ADA compliant. There was a minor error in the listing we found, and the host made a correction. Consider flying to BQN instead of San Juan. If you rent a car, rent a small one. Parking is tight. The day our rental was to start our host contacted us to let us know there was a municipal water outage. They offered a refund and help in finding alternate accommodations. But we decided to take a risk and stay the course. I'm glad we did! One comment mentioned a standing water problem. We encountered this as well. I suspect it is only occasional, but there is a problem because the beach has built up higher than the driveway. I would urge the host to lay down some pavers in the parking area and along the fence leading to the beach parking lot to get guests up over the flood when it occurs. Chances are you will not encounter this as it requires a real downpour. The plusses far outweigh this one negative. The owners also own a restaurant on premises. The food was fantastic with live music. Crash Boat Beach is beautiful with great water. Depending on the waves, swimming may be best on one side of the pier or the other. There are umbrellas and beach chairs available for rent. Good food along the main road also.
I landed in Puerto Rico around 12 noon and I got a phone call right at the closing time for customer service around 4 PM. They called me to tell me that not only was their day ending, but I should be aware that the front of my villa was flooded , when I remarked that that’s messed up the response to me from customer service was well everywhere was messed up, I don’t think that I need to say that customer service shouldn’t be talking to paying customers in that manner especially when we spent so much money. Here is the problem I invited my senior citizen in-laws, who when they showed up were forced to walk in water that was above the ankle but below the calf, so what we’re talking about here is a very dangerous situation for an older person. What happens if they fall ,will the resort pay for the hospital stay and doctor fees.??? While the people on site were wonderful I won’t be going back anytime soon because of how I was treated over the phone And as someone who is from the island , I understood what she was saying, and it was much deeper than what she replied, she was attacking me and showing distaste for what she thought was an outsider. I don’t think I have to say that it was very unnecessary to verbally attack a customer.
To round this up the front of the Villa was flooded 80% of the time we were there. No one ever came to do anything to see anything to say anything we were just left to our own devices, and we never brought it up to the people at the bar or the rest
Overall a great experience for the family. Coral the property manager was very attentive and met our needs. The place is conveniently located on crashboat beach and provided parking.
The house is super cute and spacious. Kitchen is well equipped and nice parking(not easy in that area). Every morning you wake of you an amazing beach view and the sunsets are to die for. The administrator is super nice and available. Definitely going back soon.
