Great condo in great location

Condo was very nice and kitchen was well equipped. Couches are a little worn out as are three of the beds. Other than that it was perfect.

Great kitchen but they need new beds.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The only complaint is that the beds in two of the bedrooms were very soft and need to be replaced. The furniture is very worn, too. The kitchen is very well equipped and all in all we had a good time.

Spring Break Trip

The Chateaux was a great place to stay for our family. Great having a bathroom in each bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked and the location was amazing. You can walk to the slope but the free shuttle picks up every 15 minute right in from of the complex. Would definitely stay again.

Very cosy comfortable condo in a great location

This was our first visit to Crested Butte and we were really happy with the accommodation and location. Shuttle bus at our front door was very reliable and made it very easy to get to ski resort in 5 mins with young kids. The accommodation was very cosy, comfortable and well equipped. It was fantastic that each room has its own ensuite bathroom. The large supply of free firewood and access to hot tub and sauna was a big bonus. I really encourage the owner to replace the queen mattress (in the bedroom on E block side) as it sinks in the middle and my husband slept on a separate mattress on the floor for the duration of our stay. Overall we all loved our stay here.

Convenient Location to Slopes

The property was roomy and the fireplace was nice. The owner Joe had Danny (caretaker or building sup) replace the coffee pot immediately when it acted up. Bring quarters or see Danny for them to run the communal laundry. The shuttle picks up right outside the door and comes by every 15 minutes. Town and grocery store are covered as well. As a fellow VRBO owner I give two thumbs up.

CB weekend

At first we couldn’t find the email about how to access the property. Most information comes through VRBO so it’s easy to search when we arrived, but it came through the management property email which went to spam. The size was perfect for the four of us and had all the amenities. Location was great. One king bed is over used and has a huge dip in the middle so we slept in the bunk room. Another room had the bed skirt falling off which made it look dirty seeing the mattress. Living room was great for late night game time.

“Elk Hunting Camp”

Used this property as “camp” to chase elk around the mountains. Location is perfect. Stocked with everything you would need for a 9 night stay.

Great location

It's a great location. We stayed in the summer and did some MTB but it would also be a great place to ski CB out of. Not fancy but has everything you need. Well stocked kitchen. It was great to have access to the pool/hot tub/Grill. Price was fair!

Hanging on to the Side of a Mountain

The location was good although while reviewing the property on vrbo the write up said we had views of the mountains, we did not. We were backed up to a hill which was very disappointing. The reason I gave this review the title of "Hanging on to the Side of a Mountain" is because the first night me and my husband tried to sleep in one of the queen beds I kept rolling towards the middle and kept trying to pull myself back over to one side. That was not pleasant especially because my husband and I ended up having to sleep in separate beds. The other thing that was shocking was finding a dead mouse in a trap behind the end table by the patio door. That made me very uncomfortable and on high alert. The carpets have some big stains on them and are in need of some serious cleaning. The property needs updating. We did not contact the property manager and it was mandatory that we leave a rating so that is the only reason we left a 1 star.

Great location for adventure

Close to trailheads for biking and close enough to town for dinner. Rec path takes you all the way there. Check in went to my junk email, but minor inconvenience that was quickly rectified.

Great place

We had a great mother/daughter weekend with friends. Great location, easy walk to base and bus picks up right outside door for a quick ride to town which was nice. Definitely would stay here again.

The condo was great. We had an awesome trip. Jacuzzi 2 buildings down (1 minute walk) and the bottom of the lifts were about 5 minute walk. It was great. The locker they provided was very convenient! Would stay again. Thanks!

Great condo and location

Overall we had a very nice stay at the condo. The location is just a short 5 min walk to the ski base or a shuttle picks up right outside every 15 minutes. The condo was well stocked with supplies and everything worked well. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace (logs provided) and towels for the hot tub. As noted before in a previous review the bed in the 3rd bedroom (I believe the master) is extremely uncomfortable. Hopefully the owner can address this as it is really the only issue within the unit itself. Overall, a great condo and good value.
