Small cottage in the country side

Relaxing accommodation on in the country side just outside of Falun. Walking distance (400m) to lake Liljan that can be used for swimming and fishing.

4km to golf course, 7km to Falun city center.

Fantastic location during summer, walk to the lake and enjoy the forest and silence. During winter, it is close to great ice-skating on the lakes and skiing slopes.

Bedroom with a king size bed, main room with a sofa bed and access to air mattress. Small kitchen area with sink, refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker. Please be aware that there is no ability to cook in the kitchen only heating in the microwave.

Equipped with basic utensils, bed linen and towels, kettle barbecue is available outside.

Ruhe am See

Wir waren an sehr warmen Tagen hier. Die Nähe zum See mit dem netten Badeplatz war super. 5 Minuten Fußweg - und mann ist am Wasser. Der Mückenschutz an den Fenstern war top, denn die Mücken waren in dieser Zeit sehr aktiv. Die Wohnung ist eher klein, aber gut eingerichtet. Wir haben eine Kochplatte vermisst, aber der Vermieter hatte eine Grill und Kohle da. So haben wir gegrillt. Auch gut.

perfect secluded cottage in Falun

We were seeking a temporary second home with a genuine sense of Swedish living, as it would be in Falun. This cottage matched our high expectations. The cottage is very compact and immaculately clean. Furniture is reasonably comfortable, kitchen is workable, and shower is excellent. As we were hoping, the cottage is in a very pleasant, quiet, secluded neighborhood. You'll find no tourists or stores within walking distance. The lake is only a few blocks away and it is beautiful. (The view from the cottage window in the website picture doesn't capture the beauty sufficiently.) Unless you come fully stocked, you'll need a car: the location is accessible to groceries, shopping, trains, without hassle, but you must drive to them. The owners are very considerate. They helped to make our visit just what we were hoping for. We hope to return again soon!

a lovely little cottage in a great location

The cottage was clean, thoughtfully furnished and equipped. It was very comfortable for two but could easily have accommodated four. Everything needed for a short stay was provided in the kitchen- coffee maker (very important) microwave and crockery/cutlery plus some kitchen basics like salt, oil and tea. Nice towels and bedding and everything was spotlessly clean. It was lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the warm evenings while we were there at the end of May and to eat outside or have coffee out there. Our hosts were really welcoming. Best of all - the lake! If you like swimming in fresh water it is just a short walk away from the cottage. There is a nice grassy area for sitting out, a changing room and a toilet and easy access to the water. Thank you so much to Andreas and family for a wonderful stay, Hannah

Our stay was a good one.

We found this little cottage and it's owners who live on the property wonderful. The cottage is nicely decorated; everything is newly constructed with style and convenience. The property is great. It is on a country road close to everything in Falun. We accidentally left a bag and the owners were very accommodating to mail the package to our US home address, going above and beyond trying to get it to us in Sweden.

Wat een leuk huisje!!

We hadden dit huisje voor 3 nachten gehuurd. Wat een leuk huis! Met een prachtig uitzicht. Klein maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Het enige wat er niet was, was een gelegenheid om te koken. Wel een broodrooster, waterkoker en magnetron aanwezig. Wij waren met 4 volwassenen en dan is het wel klein maar de luchtbedden lagen overdag op het bed, dan was er ruimte genoeg. Wij hebben nog wel één suggestie: een picknick tafel buiten. We troffen het dat het heel mooi weer was maar er was eigenlijk geen mogelijkheid om buiten te eten. Kortom: een aanrader!!!
