This is a magical place. The cabin is comfortable, rustic, and private, with brand new furniture, bedding, and linen. But what's special about it is it's extremely romantic setting overlooking meadows, ponds, gardens, mountains, and woods. Now with WiFi.

The property is located on a beautiful piece of land at the edge of the woods. The cabin is secluded and quaint, peaceful and welcoming. Walk out the door to a hammock to read, or stack the firewood at the pit fire, either way, you will feel the weight of the world slip off your shoulders as your body and mind say thank you for finding this place. The trails on the property ask you walk them and there are so many choices to try. A very healing place. And the cabin is beautiful and simplistic, providing snacks and modern amenities that make your stay even better.
The cabin was really adorable and well stocked with practically everything you need to have a great little get away. Snacks, wifi, kitchen ware, etc just brought food, fames, and toiletries. Was really close to the kayaking, hike on Mt. Ascutney, and stone leaf dispensary. Was great to have a little fire in the provided fire pit and the trout ponds were adorable you can feed the trout and see lots of frogs/toads
This place is exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The host is excellent at communicating. The response time is very quick also. We came to kayak in NH, Lake Sunapee and VT, Echo Lake. We recommend both places, NH we could of spent all day there with the activities. We visited several Distilleries and Breweries, such a huge selection of places to go! The grounds at the cabin and amazing, we suggest that you spend one full day there and just roam the place! The cabin has everything you need, the fire pit is right by the hammock and bench, excellent lay out. You will not be disappointed at all with this property!
My partner and I spent a week at the cabin with our two dogs. The property was gorgeous and the cabin, though rustic, had everything we needed. We really enjoy places where we can unplug and enjoy nature and this place checked all the boxes! We really loved our time here.
This was our 4th stay at this property but not our last!! The cabin is always clean, quiet and well stocked with firewood. Just a fantastic place to relax and reconnect.
Wonderful stay for my wife, cat and I. Beautiful property in a lovely area. Enjoyed the extensive trail network behind the cabin. Recommend shopping in nearby Woodstock. Very responsive and respectful hosts. Would stay again.
Nice property, well manicured, safe trails& very quiet.
We were extremely happy at the amenities offered for the daily expenditures. We lost wifi the second day, but just unplugged the modem and reset to go back on line. This should have been expressed in the cabin manual. We both expressed the need to screen the porch to eliminate mosquitoes & really enjoy the comforts of sitting outside in the evening hours. We would definitely stay again!!!!!
Our second stay… and not our last! A very secluded and peaceful location with hiking trails and beautiful views! The cabin offers a rustic comfort that can’t be beat.
A private, quiet place to regroup in the middle of our leaf peeping trip. Comfy bed in a well organized small cabin on beautiful grounds. Enjoyed cooking myself a real breakfast. Space heater kept us cozy in 37 degrees. Highly recommend.
A small cabin with all the essentials on an incredible property! The hosts were incredibly fast with their communication and gave us our privacy. The space was absolutely perfect for our needs, and our two small dogs had a blast exploring the rolling green hills and wooded forest trails.
We definitely plan on returning to this incredible wooded oasis!
The well-cared-for property envelops Sunset Cabin, offering open space, ponds, plenty of wooded trails to explore along with nearby cultural + recreational attractions. If you enjoy time in nature, this spot is a keeper. The hosts are attentive and friendly while also allowing privacy. Already looking forward to going back soon; after a couple of days at Sunset Cabin, my dog was leaping with joy each morning. The cabin is quiet, rustic and comfortable, a sweet respite.
My husband and I stayed in this adorable little cabin for our anniversary. We wanted a quiet, peaceful place where we could escape our busy schedules! This was it!! It was perfect! We were able to just unplug and relax. The cabin was adorable! It was clean, you had everything you needed and the grounds were absolutely beautiful! We brought our 2 dogs and they loved it just as much. Lots of land to explore!
The hosts were wonderful as well! Very easy to contact and very prompt with replies. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful escape, I highly recommend Sunset Cabin!
We had a wonderful time at the Summer Cabin. Daniel gave us some great tips about food and places to visit in the area. We really liked the seemingly endless forest paths that we explored during our stay. What a great trip!
We were able to enjoy a quiet getaway weekend with no fuss. Property is super well-maintained and the cabin was excellent. Windsor Station had great food/drink and Artisans Park was a nice afternoon trip. Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay. The owners were very responsive and friendly. The cabin was adorable and the grounds were beautiful to hike in. There is lots to see in the surrounding area as well if you want to visit some museums.
This was a perfect time away in nature! The cabin is so cute and cozy and was everything you would want for a getaway! Daniel and Sondra are great hosts! They provided snacks, firewood, bug spray, a great information booklet for things to do in the area, and anything else you would need for a glamping trip! They even thought of amenities for your pup! They both were great with communication before and during our stay. Their property is also amazing with two ponds, a fire pit, and lots of private hiking trails! We loved our experience at the sunset cabin and would recommend to family and friends!
