Farm house at Amish country

Located on the heart of Amish country, part of the Underground Railroad 200 year old farm house

Three story house, 6 1/2 bathroom, 7 bedroom, 2 living rooms, dinning room with table that seats 20 people, 5 fire places,big kitchen, perfect for family reunion or big groups, private chef available for meals. Outdoor spaces include big porch with rocking chairs, gazebo with seating, fire pit and playground for the little ones.
Located in the heart of Amish Country in historic Lancaster County, the mansion was built around 1845 by Captain William Fassitt as a place to host lavish parties and entertain guests.

Today, guests still arrive to enjoy the tranquility of the rolling farmlands, or to take the short drive to outlet shopping, Longwood Gardens and the many Amish attractions of the region.

Events are allowed on the property please messages with any questions

While Toiletries are not provided, we will supply an Amenity Bag with a Starter Supply of Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Dish Soap, a Sponge, and several Trash Bags. If you have any other special needs, by all means give us a call and we're happy to help in any way we can.

Great place for our large family to stay

We were very pleased with this large house. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, which made everyone comfortable and on time for our busy schedule. The large table worked perfectly to gather around.

Excellent for groups

Excellent space for groups in a beautiful, clean historic home. Everything we needed and more was generously provided and the property manager worked closely with us every step of the way. Plenty of sleeping space and gathering space for such a large group. Our stay went smoothly and comfortably. Thank you!

Perfect for a retreat

Such a wonderful place for our group of 14 ladies attending a retreat and viewing a play at nearby Sight & Sound Theater. Juana was an awesome hostess, too!

Ladies weekend Noah trip

The house is amazing. The history alone is worth the stay. Tastefully decorated with ample beds and bathrooms forc13 women and 4 children. Beds were clean and very comfortable. Bathrooms to accommodate 13 women and 4 children.. bathroom, showers, commodes, floors, were very clean. Kitchen was wonderful and stocked for for all types of cooking. Host has thought of everything. Location to Sight-Sound theater was great. Shopping was great. Property is beautiful and well kept. We will be back!!! womenand 4 children.

Perfect Family Reunion

We cannot say enough amazing things about our stay. What a stunning property. We had a very large group of kids, adults, and seniors and it was absolutely perfect. So spacious, stunning views, and stocked with absolutely everything we needed. The yard, the animals, the beautiful scenery were just perfect. And so close to all the things we wanted to do. We will be back!

Awesome stay!

We loved everything! Great location! Great communication with owner! The kids loved the goats and chickens! Perfect yard for family time! Lots of space for all of us young and old! Amazing kitchen! Would definitely recommend and come again if we are in the area!

Large Family Trip

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful, historical home. Juana and her family made our stay delightful. Everyone enjoyed their baby goats and the chickens. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay with our group of 16. We enjoyed all the sights of the Lancaster area and had wonderful family time together. Ladies book group 25th anniversary retreat

Our group of 12 friends enjoyed our stay in this historic and spacious home set in the picturesque rural countryside of Pennsylvania. It was easy access to many interesting day trips to gardens, museums, and restaurants in the area. The owners who were very responsive to our needs prepared and served a delicious dinner our first night there. We had a great time!

A lovely place for a family vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Fassit Mansion! It had so many rooms for families to use and lots of space indoors and out (and, of course, almost enough bathrooms for teen girls). There were playthings and spacious play areas for the young ones, too. And the farm animals were a big hit with our younger crowd. We would recommend it to anyone trying to have a family vacation that includes 3 or 4 families together.

A picturesque property

We hosted a small, intimate wedding at Fassitt Mansion and it was absolutely perfect. The property and house are gorgeous, the owners had everything we needed and the food was over the top. I am so grateful to have found this gem. Thank you for making our wedding a dream come true.

Team Retreat

Our team loved staying here! It's rustic with a lot of history, and the owners are super nice to work with. A+ A few negatives as far as using this for a meeting: the kitchen, while well stocked is not that large, parking was a little difficult, along with lacking electrical outlets. We make it work! I think it would be great for a family get-together!

This is a very special house! The history of this house makes it feel almost holy and for that reason i would have been glad to stay even if it wasn't amazing in other ways. But I'm happy to say it was perfectly well suited for our group of 11. We loved the big dinning room table for games, puzzles and just hanging out with each other. Sitting on the front porch just enjoying the animals and watching the buggies go by was so relaxing. Best of all the host was amazing, quick to respond and so helpful in everyway.

Awesome home and perfect location!

The home is lovely and very spacious! There were 13 of us visiting together for Thanksgiving weekend. We had plenty of room, and the house is extremely clean. All of the amenities were great, especially the gigantic refrigerator in the kitchen, which held our entire Thanksgiving, dinner and food for several days for that many people. The property itself is beautiful! the owner was friendly and kind. There was plenty to do in the surrounding area as well. We booked and enjoyed hatchet, throwing an escape room, as well as a giant farmers market and some shopping. We would definitely return! This place was well worth it.

Just simply perfect!

We had a sibling reunion and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect place! The house had 7 bedrooms and bathrooms for each of them. A huge kitchen equipped with absolutely everything you would need and a large living room to gather and dining room that sat all 14 of us! But our favorite place to gather was the big front porch with the rockers overlooking the stunning yard. The hosts were so wonderful and did everything to make our stay perfect. We opted in for their dinner option the night we arrived and we all have not stopped talking about how good the food was. We will be back!
