Nieces trip

I brought my nieces to hike Colorado bend and relax for a few days - the property was everything we could have wished for and the pool was amazing !!!

Peaceful and Convenient

The house was very quaint. It was great for our gathering. The property is close to to town but also feels like you are in the country. It was a very nice stay and the communiction with the host was great. Thanks for letting us stay.

Weekend stay

Loved the house and location. Brought back memories of staying at my great grandma's house in the country. Pool was perfect for cooling off and napping by. Very quiet and relaxing. Host was amazing.

Loved staying at this little house in the country of Lampasas. It felt like being home. Enjoyed watching the wildlife, birds, squirrels, deer, fox, etc. It was a perfect holiday with all families visiting us. Our kids came, stayed a few days and then the other lot of kids arrived. Sure will come stay here again, should we decide to come back in 2 years or so. Thank You, Monika Andersen

Peace and Quiet

The house is absolutely adorable! There are two great porches to sit and take in the quiet. The inside of the house is small - four rooms in total, five if you count the bathroom - and cozy. There is no television, so you can sit and read without distraction. If you are like me and love old/retro this place is life!

Quiet, beautiful home

Beautiful home that has been completely renovated. The pool was nice and clean, the lighted basketball court was a lot of fun for my husband. We didn't get a chance to use the firepit as it was still very warm outside, but the pit was big and looked cozy. The beds were comfortable, not the best I've ever slept in, but good enough. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

Once we arrived we stayed all weekend

Seriously, we only made one brief trip to town to restock groceries. The pool was lovely and had shade all day, the a/c was surprisingly cold for an older home, the house itself was darling and suited our home cooking needs perfectly (we are all pretty foodie so we did bring our own knives and cutting board, but overall we had everything we needed). We brought a few crafts that we did outside on the porch and just enjoyed each others company in the shade and tranquil environment. The owner made a brief, friendly appearance and then disappeared and let us do our thing. We would definitely book again, it was a very refreshing trip.

Home Away From Home

This is a very quaint farm house with pool, fire pit, and a basketball court. We used everything except the fire pit since we stayed during 100 degree weather. The only thing that surprised us was there is no TV, but honestly it was nice to get away from electronics and have some real family time with our teen girls. Loved our time here and will definitely look to booo this next year.

Perfect getaway!

This was a quick little getaway for my husband and I to relax before our baby girl will be born in August. It was so relaxing, it was just what we needed! We loved hanging by the pool day and night! We would love to come back some day.

Cozy farmhouse!

We had a wonderful time staying at this Tranquil Farmhouse! We were in town for a training and this place was a perfect way to relax after a busy day. I'm looking forward to staying here again for my next training!

Good Choice

Much better than a hotel/motel. Good recommendations from manager on restaurants (e.g. Eve's) and directions to the farmhouse were good/useful. Very close to town.

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful place, very peaceful! Manager and owner were both super nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend. The only two notes would be that the kitchen did seem quite old (hard to open and close some of the drawers) and the beds did seem quite narrow for queen beds. Wonderful experience overall!

Relaxing Getaway

This 100-year-old farmhouse is the perfect place to relax with family in peaceful, country surroundings. The original beauty of the house has been preserved, while being updated with creature comfort amenities like central air! The outdoor pool was a gathering place for our family on hot days, and the location was centrally located close to several state parks. Highly recommend for a long weekend recharge!!
