Easy access to all hospitals and entertainment districts: Midtown Crossing, Aksarben, Blackstone and Old Market, CHI Health Center & Arena easy access to interstate. -Home of Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting and Charles Schwab Field- Home of the College World Series (5.5 miles). Close to entertainment and casinos in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
House has 3 bedroom, 1 bath, and large living room and kitchen. Two bedrooms with queen beds. 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds. Large living room has TV and stereo ,WiFi and internet. Washer and dryer in basement utility room.
Front porch seating area for enjoying the evening cocktail and conversation. Morning coffee in the enclosed front porch or outside seating area. Patio and barbaque grill in back yard. Children 5 and under do not count toward total guest count.

Birthday Stay

We stayed 2 nights for my birthday with our friends and a few children. Overall it was a good stay. We did forget to turn in one key then returned it of course. This is rented out below for medical staff and but no one was down there when we were staying at the location. So make sure you take that into consideration when renting. We did move some of the breakable decor into a closet as we had young children, We cleaned up the dishes, the laundry was put in the appropriate place and the trashes were all taken out according to the list left. Unfortunately we were accused of having more adults than what we had (we had 4 only) because of the “state the place was left in”. All because we didn’t vacuum or sweep (which wasn’t listed to do-probably should be listed or lowering the cleaning fee). Not sure how not vacuuming or sweeping means we had more adults than listed. If that is an issue of concern I would suggest outdoor cameras. Overall good location- clean-management replied back quickly.

Nice place to stay

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. And even a bottle of wine on the table. I'm not a wine drinker but the thought was nice. I met the owner Jim and he was a really cool guy! I would recommend this place and if I ever stay in Omaha again, I'd stay here.

Great location

This house was a great place for my family to stay in Omaha. It's a great location that is convenient to get around the city. It has a really well-stocked kitchen and toiletries, which is nice in case you forget anything. The cookies and wine were such a wonderful treat when we arrived!

a hidden gem in Omaha

To summarize this house in one word we would say awesome!! This is the second year we have stayed at this house for our 'girls getaway weekend.' We love this place! it has all the comforts a person would need. A kitchen that has full sized appliances with plenty of seating room around the table. The beds are super comfy! Comfort is the name of the game and location is central to anything Omaha/Council Bluffs has to offer. James and Kim were so helpful with information and their attention to detail was very appreciated. We look forward to next falls stay.

Well kept home

I loved the bathroom with the original bathtub. The home is very well-kept, and very comfortable. The only thing I didn’t know before I got there was that it does not have a dishwasher. I am sure that was in the listing, but I did not notice. The owner provides paper plates if you don’t want to wash dishes! I was very happy with the location. I feel it is a safe neighborhood.

Looks are deceiving

From the outside this home looks small, but once thru the enclosed covered porch, this home has lots to offer. A large and comfortable front room, a well stocked kitchen with a table for 4, more chairs available if needed in closet, three good sized bedrooms and two full bathrooms. I loved the fact that one of the bedrooms has twin beds, allowed my adult children to have their own beds. Great for families! We were delighted with the location also, close to the highway and downtown but still in a residential neighborhood. This home was well maintained and clean, beds were comfortable and water has hot for showers. We were even welcomed with a plate of homemade cookies and wine. When we needed to contact the host, he responded right away and fixed the problem. I would recommend to anyone who wants a home and not just a place to stay. Others stated if felt like home...it did! Complete with Christmas decorations for us to enjoy. Would rent again when we visiting the area again.

We had a wonderful stay in Omaha! The house was great! Comfortable. Clean. With everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Great location. The owner did everything possible to make our stay a huge success. I will stay here again!
