My wife and I recently stayed for a week here with another couple. Lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath accommodations. Very well equipped with almost everything a visitor would need. Met the owner (Bill) right away and he was extremely gracious and welcoming. Told us to help ourselves to any foodstuffs, etc. that we found including fruit on counter and coffee and filters and other items in the cabinets. It was almost like staying at home. But the best part of the house is its location about 300 feet off of US Route 1 deep within an arboretum-like setting surrounded by palms, vines, and other natural Florida plants. And I was surprised to discover that the Sebastian area is sparsely populated making for an extremely restful area to unwind. Still not that far from many restaurants and a grocery store if needed and the activities on the Indian River inland waterway that runs along the back of Bill's property. Only took a few days to get used to the few trains that run on the tracks about one-half mile away on the other side of Route 1.
Bill’s property was so much more than we expected, we loved it. He met us when we arrived and showed us the property. He had fresh fruit and flowers for us to enjoy. The kitchen had everything we needed for home cooked meals. The outdoor space was relaxing. The house was secluded and peaceful but still close to restaurants and stores. The property truly is a slice of heaven. I highly recommend staying in this gorgeous house!
We were very satisfied with our choice of this vacation rental. It was exceptionally clean and was stocked with everything we might need. Bill was a gracious host and the property was beautiful! We also appreciated its proximity to Sebastian’s many restaurants.

lovely retreat
A beautifully appointed home nestled in a tropical garden like setting. It's a peaceful and quiet place. The kitchen is well stocked. the mattresses were a little hard for us. Bill is very attentive and helpful with a desire to make your stay pleasurable and enjoyable.

What a great place to stay
This is a awesome place to get away from it all. Verry Quite , feels like your in some remote paradise. The peacocks visiting every day is awesome and Bill the owner is there anytime he is very nice and help full. I would definitely recommend this little slice of paradise

Misrepresented
After seeing this property we decided not to stay. We felt like the pictures, especially of the outside, did not accurately represent the space. First of all, the pictures do not show it as a duplex, and it is. The website also states that there is a water view. Apparently there used to be one, but it is now overgrown. The dock on the canal ditch is all rotten.
The slider leading to the outside had to be lifted up some to go out on some pretty rickety steps.
We certainly were not planning on sharing our space with others.
Fortunately we were able to find another place to rent since we were not willing to stay there.

Awesome place
My son's baseball team was in Dodgertown for the week and we found this place in Sebastian about 15 minutes away. It was a wonderful house and perfect for myself, my wife, two daughters and my folks. The house is located right off of Route 1 but because the property is large and there are lots of trees etc. you would never know the road was there. The bay is at the end of the property and there is an island that you could swim to if you wanted, my kids had planned to but ended up not having time. The beach is about 10 minutes drive and free to park and free to use and was very nice. Bill lives on the property in a house further back on the bay and is very friendly and helpful and was immediately available for any questions we had.
This was a great place and a great week!

The nearby farm vegetable stand around the corner provided fresh vegetables and fruits . Indian river boulevard provided a wonderful walking and biking second to none We had a great time of course the visits from the resident peacocks were delightful . We did miss a second tv in the bedroom otherwise great house highly recommended .

Incredible Place!
I just rented this spectacular home in late June. We invited our adult children and their children and everyone had a blast. We fished, swam, kayaked all over, BBQ-ed, and truly just enjoyed the home and property. Bill & Lisa were terrific hosts. They did everything they said they would and the place is fully furnished and decorated beautifully. You won't need anything except your clothes (kayaks and fishing poles: not included). We caught more fish off the shore than we did from the Kayaks! It was a privilege to stay here. I highly recommend. I know we'll be back. Thank you Bill & Lisa!
