Nice Stay

We were in town to visit with family and this suited our needs for a short stay. Quiet location and amazing view of the lake with beautiful sunsets. 3 bedrooms was a plus for us as I had to work remotely from there one day. Easily connected to wifi. Host provided nice touches such as bread, pb & jam along with bananas, oj, and coffee! Also, nice and ample supply of towels. Very easy arrival and departure. The downside for us were the steep stairs that lead up to the living quarters (may be better suited for younger occupants as we are over 50 with knee issues).

Great location and excellent host communication

Lovely place, short drive to Pere Marquette beach, which is beautiful. Great communication from the host, and so many nice touches inside the apartment. Some smell of cigarettes, which our host was unhappy to learn about and eager to correct. Tough when the renters before you disregard the house rules! Important to know ahead of time that the steps are narrow and steep and the bathroom would be too small for some body types. Overall a very nice experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back! Thank you to our lovely host!!

Great friends get away

Enjoyed a stay with 6 friends. The house is beautiful and nestled into to a quiet neighborhood. It is overlooking the water but does not have direct access to any water. It was also further than most peoples preferred walking distance to anything other than housing in the area including access to any beaches. The house is an apartment style where the owner lives in the lower half and the tendants/renters utilize the upper living quarters. The only access to the living quarters is up a steep set of stairs. It was not listed as a shared complex, so we were all surprised. We had a little difficulty carrying our coolers up the stairs. The listing should state this in the details as we did have a few people with small mobillity concerns but we managed. The bathroom is very very small and not much room to move in and out for some body types. It worked just fine and suites an old style house. Patty was great with communication and the housing itself was comfortable and worked for our needs overall..

Absolutely fantastic!

From start to finish, communication was perfect, property and location was beautiful. We were out and about most of the weekend, but it was wonderful to come home to a comfortable welcoming home and host.

Good Overall

The view of the lake is amazing! The bedrooms are good sized. My kids loved the toys. The welcome tour was nice, and the snacks and juice were a nice gesture. I appreciate that Patty took the time to walk us through when we got there, and pointed out safety things like the fire extinguisher. I wish the baby gate in the kids room had been pointed out because the room right at the top of the stairs made me nervous at night with the kids. Or maybe the gate can just be moved to that room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the kids have already asked to stay there again.

Fantastic!

We had 5 adults and one baby stay comfortably. In addition we had 3 adults and two young children visit frequently and sometimes have take out meals together. The back yard and fire pit got very good use. The site is convenient to beaches and restaurants. The view of Muskegon Lake and sunsets was spectacular. Patty is an excellent host.

Comfortable and Quaint

This was the perfect getaway for our family. It was a convenient location with a lovely view of the water - with close proximity to the beach and other amenities. Patty was very responsive in making sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this as a place to visit!

A Charming Visit

Prepare yourself to be charmed by the accommodations, view and hostess! Patty's communication and thoughtfulness are above and beyond. We used her beautiful Victorian as a homebase for our trip down memory lane for my mom-in-law. The five of us enjoyed some down time on her patio filled with flowers and a view of the lake. We slept comfortably in the victorian decorated bedrooms. Thanks for the lovely stay!
