Perfect Place!

This cozy home had a perfect cottage feel. It is located in an established neighborhood with beautiful mature trees and shrubbery. Very well maintained and everything you need to feel like you are in a home away from home. Beds are comfy and it's quieter than a hotel! You are close to all kinds of shopping and restaurants. We hope to return one day!

French Flair in Quiet Arden Neighborhood

The cottage was cozy- perfect for evenings in reading by the fire. The decor is French country chateau, complete with some decorative antiques. I appreciated the comfy bed and well-stocked kitchen, especially the chef’s stove. The neighborhood is located near many cool restaurants and things to do. Having laundry facilities was a huge plus. Communication with the owner was easy.

Charming cottage, perfect location!

If you love vintage, this is the perfect place to stay! It is centrally located to most anything you would want to do in the Asheville area. The cottage is beautifully decorated in a country French style and the owners include extra amenities such as champagne chilling in the fridge and coffee for the Keurig.

Lovely and cozy cottage!

My husband I stayed here for 2 nights before Christmas. Very cute cottage tucked away in the woods. Quick drive to the Biltmore Estate and downtown Asheville. The beds were a bit creaky and could probably use some newer mattresses, but other than that, the place was super and had everything we needed.

3rd visit to Le Canard

This was our 3rd Thanksgiving week here and it was wonderful. It was clean, well stocked and very comfortable.Had a minor outdoor light problem and it was taken care of right away.Had a wonderful visit.

Biltmore visit

Wonderful home

We loved staying here! Besides being clean and comfortable, it was decorated with a French flair and had every amenity necessary and more. This is our second time there and we also love the quiet neighborhood.

Convenient Location for Weekend School Visit

Excellent location for a weekend visit to Christ School. The house is close to school and very comfortable and clean and well appointed. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to all of our questions.

Lovely French Inspired Cottage

This cottage was perfect for two couples and it was close to Ashville so we could run in for a nice supper. It was also located near good grocery stores and 12 Bones, my favorite barbeque restaurant in Asheville. The decor was cheery and the kitchen was fully stocked so made cooking a fun experience. I would definitely stay here again and enjoy the quiet surroundings.

Welcoming Country Cottage

My husband and I were very pleased with our clean, comfortable accommodations. We had everything we could possibly need during our five night stay. The owner, Claudia, was responsive from the moment we made our reservation, to our arrival, and upon check out. The twin bed in the sunroom was the perfect reading nook! The location was perfect for us since we have family in Asheville and Hendersonville. We plan to return in the future!

Extended Weekend Getaway

The house was as described in the listing. The Sullivans were great hosts. The bottle of wine and chocolates were a nice welcome to Le Canard. We found the house to be cozy, charming, and very peaceful. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit looking at the stars and enjoying the night sounds. We visited Biltmore and the Asheville Art Museum and enjoyed both. The home was located close to all we planned to do. There were a variety of grocery stores within a short distance. We’d definitely stay here again if we were in the area and Le Canard was available.

Great house near Asheville!

Excellent stay! It was very easy to get anywhere we wanted to go around Asheville. Located in a residential neighborhood, with a nicely landscaped private yard. The screen porch was great for chilling outside with our dog. Super clean and nicely decorated as a French cottage. Nice comfortable bed. Well supplied with bath essentials, hair dryer, kitchen items. The Keurig pods and tea bags were appreciated. And the bottle of wine and chocolates were a nice touch! Would definitely stay again!

The perfect place to stay!

Our stay at Le Canard was absolutely perfect. The home was beautiful and cozy, you felt very comfortable and at home as soon as you entered. The host has supplied anything you might need or think you need. The home has a beautiful private yard in a very quiet neighborhood, and is only 8 miles from "all the action" in Asheville. This is definitely the place to stay if you are visiting the area!

La Canard in Arden N.C.

We spent 2 weeks exploring Asheville and the beautiful mountains. The house was situated in a quiet neighbourhood, and there was easy access to the city, highways, restaurants, and hikes. We enjoyed the home's interior which was nicely decorated. All the rooms had thoughtful touches which made staying there a pleasure. We plan to return again soon.

Beautiful and cozy most perfect place to stay!

Le Canard is a beautiful cozy home, amazing quiet yard setting, with an interior that makes you feel at home and that includes everything you might possibly want/need. You think about it, they have supplied it! And the house is immaculate, very clean. Very pet friendly, but you can't tell if pets have been there before. The hosts are the kindest, most thoughtful people I have ever met (but I never met them). The location is VERY quiet and SO close to Asheville; you're 8 miles away from the action, but out of the business. Seriously, if you are looking to stay in the Asheville area, without a doubt, this is where you want to be! Loved it! FIVE PLUS stars!!
