Enjoy "Carden Cabin", a secluded log cabin home sitting atop a hill overlooking a valley with beautiful vistas and wild life abound. Luxurious and comfortable, this 2 level home has 4 bedrooms that can sleep 8 privately and a loft that can sleep 2 more. There is a spacious living and dining room and an open kitchen area with updated appliances. Relax on the covered back porch and watch the sunset on wooden rocking chairs. 1st Floor is wheelchair accessible.

The cabin is certified bed bug free. We get inspected every month.

Enjoy a quiet and peaceful getaway or go out and explore the nearby cities of Pigeon Forge (20 Miles), Gatlinburg (27 Miles), and Knoxville (18 Miles). The Sevierville Convention Center is 10 Miles away.

Ponies in the Smokies 2025

We come to Ponies in the Smokies every year in March. This is our second stay at Carden Cabin & both stays have been excellent. It’s a beautiful cabin in a peaceful setting. There’s a pack & play & a baby gate in the master bedroom/bathroom closet, plenty of dishes in the kitchen if you want to cook. Local Eatery is just up the road & has good food if you want something close by. We would stay again & definitely recommend Carden Cabin for a great vacation rental.

Beautiful view at the top of a mountain. Close enough to everything but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Beautiful location!

Carden Cabin was just lovely with beautiful views. It was just what we wanted and our family hopes to come again. Some heavy rains came through which had washed out the gravel on the way up but our SUV was able to handle it.

Relaxing cabin with fantastic views

The cabin was exactly what we had hoped. Quiet and remote with a spectacular view off the back porch. The cabin was well maintained and pretty much everything we needed for a relaxing week. Ryan and Jamie were responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation

Cabin was very nice with beautiful view. Clean upon our arrival. Contact with host was very efficient. Be prepared for the gravel road but was maintained but may need some attention. We enjoyed the quietness from the hustle and bustle of town. Plenty of space for our family of 6. Totally enjoyed our vacation! Thanks Jamie and Ryan for sharing your awesome cabin with us!

You will love this cabin

We were pleasantly surprised of how roomy this cabin was. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The host sent very specific, easy to follow directions and was quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend this cabin!

Great Cabin!

The cabin is beautifully decorated! We loved everything about it. On the day of our arrival, the cleaning staff had a medical emergency. Ryan contacted us early & kept us updated about the cleaning & check-in time. We were able to check-in by 4:30. This wasn’t a problem for us. We understand that things happen beyond our control. We enjoyed our stay at Carden Cabin!

Great time

We had a wonderful time. We were close to stores to buy food for our stay. We weren't too far from the action of Gatlinburg. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit outside. This is a great place for family or friends to hang out together.

Beautiful home and deco ; private and not too far from pigeon forge and the mountains. Only issue we had is the fireplace didn’t work.

Cozy cabin with a beautiful view

This cabin is comfortable and situated on top of a hill with a beautiful view. There is a great porch/deck with ample seating to sit and soak in the peaceful country valley below.

Really great place

A few minor items need repairs (shower in master bathroom, kitchen sink spray nozzle, Bannister on porch). Beautiful place and home. Definitely would go back.

Vacation sanctuary

Beautiful spacious quiet sanctuary to rest and relax after full day trips to surrounding areas like Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Cades Cove. Couldn’t really ask for more except maybe permission to fish the lake down the hill haha. If that was included we may never have left! Thanks so much!!!!

The perfect getaway

We had a total of 10 (5 adults and 5 kids) in our group. There was ample space for us all! The views were amazing, and it was secluded enough that we didn't have to worry about the kids being too loud. With traffic we were about 15 minutes to Pigeon Gorge and around 30 minutes to Gatlinburg. Finding the property was as easy as following Google maps... we had no issues. The road to the cabin is less than ideal, as it is a dirt road with some pretty major potholes. After the first day we were able to navigate around the holes efficiently so not a huge deal. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

Stunning place, a true home away from home

This is truly a magical place. I couldn’t believe the level of detail this cabin had. Do visit, you will not be disappointed. It was impecable, you really feel like you arrive home.

Great cabin but our car got messed up.

Overall renting was a very easy process. Owners was very nice and helpful. Communication was awesome. The place is very clean and neatly kept. The only problem I had was getting there. The GPS took my fiancé and I to a road not kept up at all and tried to go up and his car got messed up because of it. We had to call the owners and get them to direct us to the working road. Owners knew the GPS will take people to that road and didn’t make it clear in the directions to not use the road. We didn’t understand why the road wasn’t blocked off if it’s not usable but other than that it was a great trip and would definitely rent again!

Beautiful cabin with amazing view

Secluded and emaculate cabin! Your check in is by the code provided by the owners, so no office check ins. The view is spectacular! The owner texted directions prior to arrival which was nice. Communication with the owner was prompt and convenient. We would stay here again in the future!

Tennessee Christmas and Surprise Proposal

I would highly recommend this cabin! Absolutely beautiful and clean. It had everything we could possibly need and more. Beds were very comfortable and more than enough room for our family of 8. The views from this cabin were breathtaking! The first day we arrived was my oldest daughter’s birthday. Her boyfriend kind the perfect spot and most amazing background to get down on one knee for her surprise proposal! This place will always hold a very special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to book it again! For now we’ll planning a wedding BUT the newly engaged couple loved the cabin so much they may consider it for the honeymoon!
