Awesome cabin!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time up in Island Park. We were able to go kayaking and ride dirt bikes with UTV”s. The cabin was very clean and beds were comfortable. David and Dan were very helpful. The gas fireplace worked well and heated the entire cabin. We use the hot tub much more than the one we have at home. Great family memories will definitely be back.

Overall a great experience
The keypad lock did not work upon our arrival, but the property manager was able to assist us over the phone so it wasn’t a huge hassle. The property was pretty nice and we made good use of the grill and hot tub. Would definitely consider staying here again! Thank you!

Relaxing getaway
My Hubby and I had the most fantastic stay at your cabin. It was so relaxing with the jacuzzi on the porch after a long day driving and a long day in Yellowstone. The kitchen was perfect and equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking or baking whatever you want! Also the espresso machine was a really nice touch❤️ And on our last day there was a MOOSE in our front yard! Absolutely amazing. We will be coming back to this location. Maybe with the kids next time. It’s definitely large enough for the whole family!

Cozy cabin
Overall the cabin was ok with a cozy feel to it. Just a few issues with the hot tub temperature and dust in the upper rooms. The property manager was very responsive when we had an issue.

Nice, but could be great
It's a nice cabin, but wasn't very clean and the hot tub was old and needed maintenance. The beds were really uncomfortable. All of them. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, but in hindsight, way to far from the West Yellowstone entrance ( 40 minutes), and not overall worth it for the money.

Lots of people and a lot going on this time of year! If you enjoy recreational vehicles, off-roading, and the opportunity to get dirty and then relax in the woods, this is your place!

Hidden rules, I have to clean after paying cleaning fee
Very unusual that once we pay money than ask me to sign separate contract, or not release door code, these rules must disclose at website before we pay. Nice Property but need cleaning in kitchen appliance and pots n pans, also unswal for cleaning process and I have to remove all trash to dumpster and clean Never had to do that on other websites.

Fantastic cabin... a cozy home away from home with very accommodating hosts!
The Trapper's Chalet was very cozy and wonderful. Our host made the process easy, and even gave us a little gift package of fun things to do and yummy popcorn and stuff (A birdie and a racket, a coloring set for our kids etc). The location is quiet and enjoyable, and we even saw a moose up close! There are a lot of amenities, including a BBQ, and a fireplace to heat the place. A full kitcken too. It came fully stocked with everything we needed to live (towels, tp, utensils, plates, etc). and even had entertainment in the form of a wii and some movies. It was fun to watch a scary movie in the cabin! It was cold up there (Weather was sour), but the fireplace kept us pretty warm. There was also a horse swing made out of tires the kids really loved. We didn't make use of all the amenities provided to us, but we really appreciate how welcoming, cozy, and functional the cabin was. It really felt like a home to us and we wish we could have stayed longer. The check-in checkout process was easy as well. All in all, a great experience!

Great stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Everything you need is there & the hot tub was a hit! Some of the guests did say that their beds were not very comfortable. We were advised that there wouldn’t be any salt, pepper, sugar etc but there is quite a lot in the cupboards from previous guests. The check in and check out process was incredibly easy and Kabino property managers are great! The cabin is about +-40 minutes drive from the West Yellowstone gate and equally as far from shops so I would suggest sticking up. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Where was the snow plow?
Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was perfect in every way. On the other hand, the snow plowing had MUCH to be desired. When we arrived, the main road into the cabin looked like it had not been plowed in weeks, and with warmer weather and rain on top of that the ruts in the road were at least a foot deep. We were lucky to even get to the cabin. And then it snowed another 12 inches on top of that. Even the Kabino employee's truck got stuck in the road across from the cabin and when my husband talked with him we were told the plow would come through. The plow ONLY cleared enough for the Kabino employee to get out. He never came back to plow the road, like we were assured. And it was a miracle that we did not get stuck getting back to the main road at the end of stay when we left the cabin. We truly had a great time and would recommend this cabin to others, but feel the property owner should evaluate their property rental provider. Check in was easy with detailed directions on location and arrival/departure instructions. Snow plowing service is a disaster.

Love Island Park
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Drove right to cabin with accurate directions provided. The kids instantly noticed there was no air hockey table that was advertised, kind of a bummer for them. With all the warnings about not leaving trash in the house we were surprised to find a bag half full of garbage in the middle of the upstairs bathroom floor, must have been forgotten by house keeping. The trash can in the driveway was also full, forcing us to take a bag to the landfill to avoid a high charge for leaving it behind. Other than the bag of trash in the bathroom the cabin was clean and in great shape. Kitchen had plenty of everything you could need to prepare meals and the BBQ on the deck was fantastic. Plenty of beds, blankets, pillows and towels. Hot tub was clean and amazing. There was no snow shovel around which made the deck and stairs a little dangerous after two days of snow fall. Over all we had a great time and really enjoyed the cabin. Would recommend to friends and stay here again.

Pretty Decent
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, we received a call from the property management company advising us that the oven was not working. The stove top was working fine, but the last person reported a possible gas leak in the oven. Thankfully, we weren't planning on using it that night, but they did ask if we were going to use it and if so that they'd send someone out. The dishwasher sounds like a monster coming out of its cave when opening and closing! Kind of funny more than anything though, it didn't bother us. I did wonder about how clean things were when we found someone else's dirty socks some-what underneath a recliner. They weren't in plain view, but still visible when you looked down, so I'm not sure how the cleaning crew missed those. There also was a slow cooker even though management told me prior that there was not. Bummer :( also there are no blinds except in the bedrooms, so privacy was a bit concerning. The master bedroom had blinds, but just down the hallway was a door with no blinds or curtains, so anyone could look straight in to the bedroom from the side of the house. Same with the hot tub. Overall, it was a nice stay, but seemed more like a place that could be used for casual get togethers. For a more romantic feeling, curtains or blinds would have been nice. Also, Yellowstone for us was between 40-50 minutes away. There are closer places. We did stay in a nice place in West Yellowstone that was right at the park entrance as well, and I think I'd choose that over this place because of the location. This place was nice, but just didn't feel like we were totally away from it all. Nice for a summer place if you want to get away, but if you wanna spend time in Yellowstone, I would rent closer. Plus... this is my first time renting from a property management company on VRBO, and will probably be my last. I've rented many houses before on VRBO for vacation and love dealing with an owner who really cares about you and your stay. I didn't get that feeling from this company.

Disappointed with location
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was nice and clean but it was a lot farther from Yellowstone than what I was led to believe when making the reservation. This was disappointing to be so far away. There wasn't much close by as far as restaurants and grocery stores. Mostly gas stations to buy supplies. The pillows were awful!! I strongly suggest upgrading the pillows!! We enjoyed the hot tub and having a washer/dryer was a big plus. If you plan to visit Yellowstone, not sure I'd recommend this property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great, quite location, feels secluded. The cabin was very clean and nice. The kitchen was great, there is plenty of room and beds for 4 adults and 2 to 4 kids. The hot tub, BBQ and fire pit were all very mice features that we used every day. We hope to make it back.
