Enjoy breathtaking, 360-degree views of the spectacular Sangre de Cristo Mountains and New Mexico skies! The patio offers unparalleled “starry, starry nights” from a gorgeous spa!!  Sipping a glass of wine around the fire pit table is the perfect way to enjoy the amazing experience of a Taos sunset along with a steak on the Weber grill.

This home is indeed special and unique!  It is a creatively-designed Quonset home featuring 18-ft ceilings with a windowed-wall to make your visual experience unforgettable! Southwestern art and rugs add warmth, color and charm as you enjoy the peace and relaxation of the mesa. The French doors of the master bedroom open to the sunroom and its patio doors open to the outdoor patio and spa. The adjoining master bath is spacious, including a washer and dryer. In recent years a second bedroom, large bath, and sitting area have been added, creating a private “suite” for family members or friends. There is a third bedroom in a lofted area.

The casa features an awesome, fully-equipped, gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, including a gas stove.

The house has high-speed internet and three smart TVs with updated DVRs, one in each of two bedrooms and one in the open-living room area.

Mesa Magic is secluded along historic, unpaved Stagecoach Road (now Tune Drive) 2 ¼ miles from the highway. Although on the mesa, away from it all, it is located only ten minutes from Taos, home of fabulous restaurants and wonderful art galleries. Thirty minutes down the road is the world-class Taos Ski Valley with its dramatic slopes and beautiful mountain hiking trails. The Taos Box is world-famous for white water rafting and trout fishing. Golfers will love the Taos Country Club course, designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Amazing Property and Location

Kelly’s place is absolutely perfect. Every single morning you get to wake up and see the sunrise over the mountains and each sunset paints beautiful colors on this same mountains. At night you get to stargaze from the hot tub (or anywhere else on the property but we went during the winter)! The house is a short distance from Manby hot springs and when we went in the morning we had it all to ourselves! The house itself has everything you need and is a short drive to town (after you get off the dirt road the house is on)! The house is even closer to Taos Pueblo which is a super cool place to check out as well! Taos Ski Valley is a scenic 30 minute drive as well! You won’t really want to leave the property to much though since the house is absolutely perfect

Lovely home outside of Taos. 2 bedroom suites provide privacy with full loft for extra space. Perhaps not the best place for small kids.

Beautiful home with amazing views and vibe

This was easily one of my top stays. The communication from our host was excellent. The home was very well appointed both aesthetically and from a practical point of view. It was a short trip to Taos and we visited the Earth Ships as well, which was a short trip. I would stay here again when visiting the area.

Magical Taos Stay

What else can I say about this place that they don’t include in the description?!? The location was amazing with close proximity to the Rio Grande Bridge. You can no longer walk to Manby Springs from the house, but really close to trails and beautiful views. I can’t describe the amazing sunrise and sunset views we had, along with watching the hot air balloons from the hot tub in the morning. Everything you need for home cooked meals and breakfasts in the kitchen. Loved the decor and lighting. Worked perfectly for watching the stars at night and enjoying the sunrises in the morning. Would book again if I came back to this area.

Ride Taos

House was great, had absolutely everything we needed, including great sunrises and sunsets. Only downside was that the road to the house was tough (very rutted with loose gravel) for the motorcycles.

Very nice stay

The property was as described and was in a lovely setting. House was amply stocked with cookware, dishes, silverware and glassware…everything you need to prepare and enjoy a meal. The back porch was where we ate dinner one night while we watched the lightening show off in the distance. Overall an enjoyable experience. Like other guests, we found the beds a bit soft. The little nooks and reading areas were so cute! Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their stay.

The Mesa was magic

We enjoyed our stay at Mesa Magic. So quiet! It was wonderful. Well stocked kitchen. Comfy furniture. Air conditioning was ok (not like what I am used to in our Dallas home). The 360 degree views were awesome.

Magical Days on the Mesa

What a wonderfully located property. We enjoyed watching the sunrise, storms roll in and sunshine again. Immaculate and so nicely decorated. Love the art and all the interesting things to look at. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Highly recommend.

Dream Vacation!

This is such a sweet place to stay! Great location, beautiful scenery, clear skies. The house aas very well equipped with a well thought out layout. There was beautiful artwork throughout. Great getaway location

Had a little snafu when we got there but it was handled promptly. House was beautiful in a very peaceful location. It is two miles down a dirt road which was fine for our needs but could be an issue if you are wanting to run into Taos a lot for shopping or meals. We just did our own cooking in the well appointed kitchen!

Solitude with Amazing Views

I chose this place due to the stunning mountain views and the fact it was peaceful, but in a community. The homes were far apart which lead to privacy and quite. The house is great, with large kitchen and open great room with amazing windows for the view. Easily close to Taos and ski areas. Owner and Prop Mngr were great and fast responses to any inquiries. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to relax, unwind, and enjoy mother natures vistas.

360 Views Were Amazing!

The house was very cool (quonset hut!), the views truly were 360 degrees with mountains all around, it was so private, and the host and property manager were great. We had an easy 20 minute drive to town or 30 minutes to the ski hill. Most days after skiing we came back to desert spring at the house. It was a great house for relaxing and cooking a meal or doing a puzzle. We loved it so much we're planning on coming back next year.

It’s really magical!

Was a great spot in the Mesa. Gorgeous sunrise and sunsets and yes we saw a hot air balloon! The layout leaves lots of spots to curl up with a good book. The fireplace is darling. The house is well equipped to cook and relax. We are staying again in the future if dates work as this place is such a neat spot architecturally as well as location.

Here's the deal:

You don't need me to tell you that the place is wonderful and the views amazing -- the photos do that. It's been a long time since my husband and I have done extensive travel and used VRBO, but this house ticked all the boxes for us. It's very private and very quiet. The house is large with two full baths. It was very clean when we arrived. But here's what I truly loved the most: it has tons of towels and blankets and pillows and all of them are in great condition -- no towels from the 1980s. There are many, many places to sit both inside and out and the couch is incredibly comfortable to lie on. The kitchen is large and user friendly. My husband and I like to cook, yes even on vacation, and there was a large variety of pots and pans, utensils and knives and again, most in very respectable condition. (There's even a wonderfully seasoned cast iron pan.) The appliances worked well and were from this century. Kelly sent excellent directions and was always prompt with answering questions and keeping us informed. Highly recommend. Book it.

60th Birthday!

Exactly as advertised and to scale! Spent each morning with a cup of coffee staring, and more staring. Each evening in the hot tub. The layout, location and views were all 5 Star! This is a real beautiful gem. You feel so far away and it is so quiet. Yet a short 15 minute drive to town. Highly recommend! Lynn & sister Carrie (bday girl)

Our honeymoon

We absolutely loved this property and our stay! When we arrived the property manager had some roses and a bottle of wine for us for our honeymoon, such a thoughtful gesture. Kelly responded very quickly when we had questions. The views were unbelievable and the hot tub was our favorite part. The only thing was because it is in the middle of nowhere there are little critters like mice. We know being from Colorado that this is to be expected given the location, so it didnt bother us as much as it might bother others. We definitely will return for another visit in the future! Thanks!

Spectacular Vistas

We had wonderful days at Mesa Magic. Cool house full of art by the artist/owner. Out be Rio Grande Gorge - very few houses to block the vistas and the spectacular New Mexico Light. Comfortable bed. Hot tub with a full moon in the sky. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Place

We had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful and quite. Property management was responsive when we had a question about a stray 3 legged dog around the property. The hot water did stopped working Friday night and never came back on. But other than that we did enjoy our stay. We would book again.

Great stay!

We loved this home for our honeymoon! We didn’t want to be close to other people, and wanted a nice and quiet stay, and that’s exactly what we got. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the hot tub as well.
