April-June & Sept-Nov minimum of 3 nights. July 4-Aug 29 are 7 night rentals Fri-Fri. Only week still avail in July/Aug are 8/15-8/22 (minimum of 4 night). Our families wonderful summer home, we are now sharing with others! A 5 minute walk to Long Sands Beach down a private Road (by the Anchorage hotel). Many fun activities in York. Great area to relax and have some fun family activities too. Very close to the beach and a short distance from the touristy York Short Sands, close enough to walk or drive to. House has 5 bedrooms, 2 bath and plenty of living space (sleeps 10). Has two outside decks, one right off the two bedrooms on second floor, plus a nice patio with gas grill. Parking for 3 cars. No pets and no smoking allowed. Currently 4 Air Conditioning window units also ceiling fans in all the rooms & window fans, the place stays cool. You will love it!

We require renters at checkout to leave house the same as when you arrive or a charge of $200 cleaning fee will be required after stay (details will be provided in contract emailed after booking)

Wonderful Stay

Location was perfect in a quiet area just a few minutes walk to the beach. House had everything we needed with lots of communal spaces as well as plenty of rooms for napping for the little ones. Thank you!

Great location & communication

Great spot with close proximity to everything nearby. Christine was very communicative and kept in touch through the entire stay. Cleaning fee not included in the original booking but we were given the opportunity to leave the unit as clean as we found it to avoid any extra charges. The property provided everything you would need for a stay by the beach.

Great Location

The house was very comfortable and the location was awesome Christine had great communication and everything was a breeze. We had 5 adults and there was plenty of room. I would not recommend more than 6 adults because the other two bedrooms had twin beds but if you were staying with kids this would be perfect. Just remember that there are only 2 bathrooms but that’s the case with a lot of the homes in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

Wonderful spot for our family R&R vacation ! Plenty of space for both kids and adults to hang out separately and together. Easy 5 minute walk to beach. Both adults and kids enjoyed boogie boarding on perfect waves ! Hope we have an opportunity for another stay ☺️

Very accessible

This house was great for a multi-generational family vacation. 1st floor bedroom with bathroom access for grandparents, good bedroom setups upstairs, big kitchen for prepping meals and plenty of open space for toddlers. Looking forward to booking again!

Nice hideaway

We had a delightful stay! The house is conveniently located near the beach, making it easily accessible by foot. The neighborhood is remarkably peaceful. There are an ample number of pots and pans, making cooking a home-style meal easy. The floor plan is ideal for families, allowing all members to sleep close by.

Lovely home close to the beautiful Long Sands Beach

Loved the open kitchen/living room area to hang with the gang while cooking. Especially enjoyed the enclosed back porch/room for eating, playing games and watching football. The house is well cared for with any type of kitchen supplies for all types of cooking along with cozy and comfortable bedrooms. The hosts provided great assistance and were very accessible during our stay! Highly recommend this property.

Perfect York Beach Stay

This space, comfort and location of this home were perfect for our family. We traveled with 3 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone, the layout was perfect for relaxing and entertaining nearby family. The location was close to everything including restaurants and a grocery store, plus the short walk to Long Sands Beach was very easy (even for small kids). The host, Christine, was welcoming, communicative and helpful from the moment we booked through our stay. Unexpected bonus was listening to ocean waves in the evening right from the balcony. Overall this home was ideal and perfect for a beach vacation - I cannot recommend enough!

Expectations Exceeded...

I've been visiting York Beach for many many years with my kids starting out camping and now via house rentals. Finding Christine & David's home was just perfect for our family of adult children able to visit during the week as time permitted. The house itself was perfectly set up to allow full family interaction and also some quiet time as needed. The location and short walk to the beach couldn't have been better or easier. I will look to book this place for future years to come. Christine was a wonderful host and I would certainly recommend her rental as a great option for your stay at York Beach. Annual June vaca

The house was very clean and easy to find everything! The towels on the bed with the shell on them was a nice touch. It was so welcoming! The book was a great help, too! The welcome sign and little snacks was very sweet to greet us. It was a very short walk to Long Sands which was great! The decks and porch were perfect to sit abd relax or enjoy a meal at. We had a great week although it rained the first half of the week, we still made memories abdcenjiyed each other! Thank you for opening your house to us. It was perfect! Fondly, Jenny and family

Ideal Family Vacation Rental

Christine’s place was just perfect for our young family. We had an excellent week at long sands and this beautiful home served as the ideal home away from home for us. Christine was very communicative and an excellent host. She even left some treats for the kids and bubbles for them to play with. We were a 5 min walk to the beautiful beach, where we did lots of walks and played all day. Plenty of space for all of us and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the three season porch, spent a lot of time out there enjoying the private backyard. Thank you Christine! We will be back for sure.

York Beach Family Fun

Christine’s beautiful beach home was the perfect home base for our 3 generations as we relaxed on our annual family vacation. All ten of us enjoyed playing games, watching movies, cooking meals and making memories when we weren’t playing in the sand, splashing in the waves or eating lobster. Her home had everything we needed…5 cozy bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower, a well equipped kitchen and laundry and comfortable living space. Christine’s home was family friendly- tastefully decorated and outfitted with beach toys, kid movies, a wide range of games and books, providing plenty of entertainment for the 4 grandchildren (ages 4-13) without the parents and grandparents needing to worry about breakable furnishings. It was a short 5 minute walk to the beach and great restaurants. We wish there was more time to enjoy the outdoor grill, but we were too busy eating lobster and admiring the gorgeous flowers surrounding the home. Prior to our visit Christine promptly answered all our questions and provided lists and brochures of local restaurants snd attractions. If we’re ever back in York Beach we’ll definitely stay here again!

Comfy, Cozy, Easy

This home had everything we needed to enjoy a friends reunion. Access to the beach was easy-just a 5-minute walk. We could cook our meals at the house but it is also centrally located to area restaurants and close to grocery stores. The property is beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet. When the tide was high, we could hear ocean waves from the balcony! We were only limited by parking since there is space for 3 cars. To help keep our car numbers down, I parked my car overnight at the Hannaford grocery store without issue. Christine was kind and welcoming and checked in with me before, during and after my stay to see if we needed anything. All was pleasant. I highly recommend this home.

Fantastic location & Cozy Well-Loved Home

We had an amazing time during our stay in York. Christine was incredibly responsive and made sure we knew everything we needed to know about the house and even York in general. The house is great for a large family - we went with my in-laws and we never felt on top of each-other. The porch is a wonderful additional living area. The beach was a 10-minute walk and so convenient to get to every day via a private path. Our only "complaint" (if you could even call it that), is the lack of a professional cleaning service between guests. It is up to the guests to clean for the next family and this meant we had to do some cleaning when we arrived for sanitary purposes (bathrooms) and it took the entire morning of our last day (check-out) to clean to the required standards. It is worth noting, this was NOT a surprise as it was made clear in the contract before hand. If you are willing to do your own cleaning potentially in the beginning (depending on the quality of cleaning from the people before you) and end of your trip, go for it! Even so, we absolutely would recommend this property to any family looking for a place to stay in York close to the beach and large enough for a big family! Kudos to the hosts.

Perfect stay!!!

We just returned from such a wonderful trip!!! This house is just perfect- located on a very quiet side street, just a short walk down the road leads to a path that brings you to Long Sands Beach! We walked to the beach daily (beach chairs, umbrellas, sands toys, etc) with no problem in regards to the distance, even for our kids (age 7 & 5) . We also enjoyed morning/evening walks to the beach, including our delicious meals out (Sun & Surf across from Anchorage Inn was delicious with a great view!) Experiencing low tide during various points in the day was an absolute dream, especially for my kids, and having the house located so close was the highlight of it all!!! The home itself is everything you could want- very well maintained inside and out! The lawn/greenery and outdoor space are immaculate. We really appreciated the outdoor space- front porch, side deck and enormous 2nd floor deck, connecting two of the upstairs bedrooms. It was bright and sunny, and a great way to enjoy coffee in the morning! There are 4 upstairs bedrooms, sharing 1 bathroom, and a 5th bedroom/bathroom on the first floor, which was perfect to give my in laws their own space. The layout on the first floor gave us so much room to spread out and with the multiple sets ups for dining space (outdoor bbq, sunroom dining area, breakfast bar) we were doing something different every day! The kitchen is very well equipped anything you would need to cook and plenty of plates/cutlery, etc. We were also pleasantly surprised by the additional storage freezer, giving us plenty of room to fit everything. We love the laid-back, wholesome feel of York! Christine is a very welcoming host with great communication! We hope to be back again in the future! Thank you!

Perfect fit

Well-located and cozy place for a reunion of friends

From the lovely upstairs back patio we could hear the waves from the beach! The house was convenient to all of the places we wanted to visit, and well-furnished with everything we needed.
