The Cottage on Parkway Loop is a peaceful, welcoming space that provides you the opportunity to truly relax.

If you've ever wondered what it's like to live in a tiny home, come stay with us and find out!

At 600 sq ft The Cottage has a lot to offer for its diminutive size. Downstairs are the living room, kitchen, and dining areas. A full bath with claw-foot tub with shower and laundry adjoins the living room. Upstairs is the master bedroom with king- sized bed and half bath. This light filled room is tucked into a dormer with large windows looking out into a canopy of trees. A small nook entices you to stay and read a while.

The fully equipped custom kitchen has a dishwasher, stove, microwave, and refrigerator. Other amenities include: roku, dvd player, high speed and wireless internet connections, washer/dryer and air-conditioning.

The Cottage on Parkway Loop is located in a quiet residential neighborhood just one mile from the Blue ridge parkway and ten minutes from downtown asheville. This convenient location within minutes to Interstates 40 and 240 gives you access to all the delights of downtown, while being close to many of the outdoor activities that make WNC such a wonderful place to be.

One mile away, the Blue Ridge Parkway is your avenue to spectacular views, cascading waterfalls, and revitalizing hikes. The cottage is only 12 miles to the extensive mountain bike trails at Bent Creek, and 20 miles from Chimney Rock and Lake lure. The legendary Biltmore House is just minutes away on Interstate 40.

Snug as a bug!

The cottage is well appointed for two!! The best thing is all the instructions. They had a near hit with a large tree during Helene! So happy it missed. Will stay again next time in Asheville!

Great Cottage

The Cottage had the perfect location for us - very near the Blue Ridge Parkway, but also very convenient to downtown Asheville and the areas around it. It was spotlessly clean and well suited for a vacation for 2 people.

First time in NC

The cottage was the perfect place for our visit! We drove into SC and TN and also had easy access to the Biltmore and Blue Ridge Parkway. We loved the wooded neighborhood! Tim and Muffi were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond when we accidentally left a bag behind. We hope to visit Asheville and stay here again!

Tim grew up in the area, and Muffi has lived here for over 30 years. We both went to Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, and love the outdoors and all that this area has to offer.

Why they chose this property

This building was originally constructed as a wood-working shop, and when introduced to us, we fell in love with it and the location, and immediately saw the potential for a wonderful living space. We're both builders, so we took on the renovation ourselves, and added a bathroom addition, porch, and upstairs bedroom with a dormer and half-bath. We built custom kitchen cabinets, and had a great time furnishing, and creating a cozy living space.

What makes this property unique

We love the tall windows, light space, and wonderful 'small home' feel of this place. It's in a quiet wooded neighborhood, extremely convenient to Asheville and it's amenities, and just minutes from the Parkway and surrounding area attractions.
