Perfectly situated on the east end of Destin (Miramar Beach) the Frangista Beach community is the perfect location for your next visit to Destin. With Miles of Sugar white sand and crystal clear water, beach side living simply doesn’t get any better. The beach front area in this community is nice and wide so you will not have any trouble find your spot to hunker down on the beach. You can also reserve your spot each morning through the Frangista Beach service vendor (La Dolce Vita) These aren’t your typical chair and umbrella beach boys, the guys at La Dolce Vita can assist with all of your beach sports needs including but not limited to; bike rentals, jet skis, parasailing, surf board rental, boogie boards, snorkeling, beach going wheel chairs and even a floating adventure park! If you grow tired of the surf and sand take a dip in the Frangista Beach community pool located in the center of the neighborhood on Los Angeles Street.

When the water sports and outdoor activities wear you out head on over to the Silver Sands premium outlet mall where you will find 120 designer outlets and 10 restaurant options (just 2 minutes from the heart of Frangista Beach!) In addition to the restaurants found at the outlet mall you will find countless dining and shopping options within a 10 mile radius of your community including two beach front options within walking distance (the Whales Tail and Pompano Joe's) If you are looking for a bit of nightlife head on over to the village at Baytowne wharf; here you will find numerous night spots, upscale dining, zip lines and activities for the kids and fireworks all summer long! (Just 5 minutes east of Frangista Beach) The Grand Blvd shopping center just outside the gates of Sandestin offers even more upscale dining options, boutique shopping and a brand new movie theater!

The AC was regulated, so our entire group was too hot to sleep at night. The ceiling fans were on remote, and only some worked. The fan and light would come on during the middle of the night. One of the bedroom doors would not close at all. The jacuzzi tub did not work. We were not able to use the elevator, which made things very difficult for my mother in law. We have stayed in several of these exact houses in this area, and this was by far the worst experience we've ever had.

Three floors with a non- working elevator. Stairs were steep wood 18 per set. These were extremely difficult to bring luggage up - particularly senior members of family! We were not made aware the elevator did not function prior to check in. The furniture was not sufficient to seat a home listed to sleep 16 and was very poor quality. Outside furniture was plastic no reclining and 4-6 on each balcony. Kitchen had very limited set up for cooking overall would not stay at this location in future (we have been vacationing here for over 20 years)

Dirty. sand and dirt every where. Dried dog poop in a very nasty living room rug. Electrical plugs on porch don’t work. Fan in bedroom doesn’t work. Had to buy ice as ice maker barely makes any ice. Outdoor shower not repaired until half way through visit outdoor chairs and broken chairs in dining room. Very shabby condition

Great Stay with Family but…
This was a great property. The location is absolutely perfect! Your walking distance from many places. The property comes with 2 rented umbrellas and 4 chairs. It for sure has your normal wear & tear & could be updated (paint). It’s kind of a turn off when you see Cheeto/dirt stains, or somebody’s finger prints left on the walls or ceiling. The first floor bed is the only access to the beach from the inside. Whoever stays in that room will have traffic in & out, with limited privacy. The first level beds bath does not have any counter space, making it hard to get ready. I noticed in that shower as well, the tile on the wall is broken where a shelf once was. The outside outlet on the 2nd floor balcony was not working, we could not use the grill. We tried the inside outlets but it kept popping the breaker & ended up taking us 2 hours just to grill burgers. The kitchen has very limited items for large cooking. It does have the basics-plates, cups, silverware, utensils, skillets & a pan. My biggest complaint would be they left 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. When you spend over $10k on a place, I’m sure they can supply more of the most important essentials. We had 4 teenage girls & 2 boys on our trip. The downstairs bunk room does not have its own bathroom so the bedroom that is downstairs is the closest. The 3rd floor bed also has no room lighting, just lamps. Washer & dryer were a lifesaver. The view was gorgeous. Loved the 3 balconies. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

Best vacation ever
Great location property was just as listed More enough space for the entire family Lots of bath towels more than we expected. Was a great surprise. Also the chairs and umbrellas that were included was awesome we did not expect that either. Definitely will book again cant wait for next year . This property is exceptional and a hidden gem.

House needs some maintenance and updating. Ice machine didn’t work the greatest. Doors to balconies didn’t open well. Couldn’t go out on the 3rd floor balcony due to the door barely opening. Things need to be updated. Kitchen needs to be better stocked. Location was great.

The View is Not Worth it..
We stayed here, last minute, to extend our stay due to bad weather (the other was booked). It was a few houses down and across the street from where we originally stayed . The view is great. That is it. The place was not cleaned well! Many of the sheets had clearly not been changed. Everyone said their bed and pillows were hard. Light switches, walls, kitchen drawers, etc needed some deep cleaning and paint. Mold in the shower and peeling caulk, and plain out-dated. Third level balcony could only be opened with significant force. Furniture inside and out were out-dated and dirty. Multiple chairs throughout home were half broken. Flooring is very slick with minimal water on it. Overall, the house has been poorly cared for and maitenance/repairs have clearly been poorly done. Honestly, walk a street or 2 over to the beach for something much nicer!

Took our adult children here for spring break just to get away and didn’t want to be in the middle of normal spring break chaos. This was a great location the house was beautiful and had plenty of amenities. We would definitely go back here again. Only one suggestion and that would be to stock up the kitchen a bit more. Highly recommended

Great location, good size for large family
Overall the condo was nice and in fairly good condition. The kitchen needs a little work (loose cabinet door on the trash can drawer) and it wasn't super clean when we got there (especially the kitchen cabinets). A few items were missing from the "fully stocked kitchen" that we would have liked and a few we bought (dish towels, citrus juicer, strainer, coffee pot - there was one but it was confusing to use and only brewed one cup at a time). We bought and left a dustpan to go with the broom. But the beds /linens /towels were fully stocked/clean (there were tons of towels!). I loved the porches facing the ocean most of all! This house is all about location, and it was superb! The beach with the included 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas really made the house a wonderful place to spend a week and we were sad to leave!

The property location was great! The convenience of being right on the beach was awesome! The house needs a few repairs. The kitchen table and chairs are about to fall apart. We had to literally put a broken chair in the corner so no one would sit on it. The house definitely had a pet odor upon arrival. After we opened windows and turned a/c up it got better. There was a large clump of pet hair in hallway. It could have been cleaned a little better upon arrival. There was no broom for sweeping. The master bathroom shower does not drain well. If you took a shower for longer than 5 minutes you were in ankle deep water. The dryer does not dry. It stops every few minutes and you have to constantly restart it. Very frustrating when you are trying to dry items to pack! I know these seem like many complaints, but it was a very nice house and great location. Traffic was bad, but people were very nice to let you out of the driveway. We never had trouble with coming or going. I think the management company just needs to give this house a little TLC to get up to a fabulous place to stay.

Trash Service
Didn't realize that we had to take the trash cans to the street for pickup. Missed two trash pickups and had nowhere to go with all the trash bags for the week. Both cans were full when we arrived on Sunday.

This place is awesome for a large group. Good beach access and close to stores and restaurants. It deep need a more thorough cleaning. There was dog hair all over the floors.

Great beach location
The house is beautiful, and located on a great beach that is family friendly. Also within walking distance to some great restaurants. However if staying end of March be prepared for cooler weather. Also there was no broom, vacuum, or dust pan. So for cleaning up little kids food that had dropped on floor not so convienant. Kitchen is stocked with pans, bowls, and all dishware. Was easy to make meals at the house. Grocery store was just a few blocks away, which is super convienant. Traffic is terrible on the frontage road in the morning and late afternoon before dinner. Just make a note if trying to get out of driveway it is hard during these times. The house had some plumbing issues when we arrived and it took them about 4 hours to get to house and it took at least another 3 hours to fix. Wish there would have been a book that had recommendations of local restaurants to go to, and grocery stores. Also a map to where the community pool is. For older people that do not like to use technology or know how to this would of helped but since we had people with smart phones to find places we were ok. Overall, beach is beautiful and house is in great location. We all enjoyed!

This house needs better maintenance and more thorough cleaning.
I was truly disappointed in this house and the need for maintenance and cleaning. The management company is very kind and responsive but there were too many things, I didn’t want to keep complaining so I just made a list of things that need attention. I realize that with just a couple hours each week between renters, your not able to get much done. But when you pay a for a home you expect it to be in good condition.

Positives: beach access, four bedrooms with own bathroom, tv amenities, pet friendly Negatives - family room was not big enough for the number of people it slept;; no beach chairs provided, not enough "basics" were provided like salt and pepper, soap, coffee filters etc.,, pets allowed in unit but no pets on beach without a permit but no option to get a temporary pass for your stay; no recycling trash can provided

Wonderful stay at Sun of a Beach!
We had a great time at this property. The location is wonderful! There are two restaurants, Pompano Joe's and The Whale's Tail within 1/2 a mile to the east and west. I only went to Pompano Joe's and it was excellent! Also there are two outlet malls in either direction, Destin Commons and Silver Sands Outlet, if you want to do some shopping. The Commons has an Imax theater if you want to catch a movie one night. There are also several golf courses near by. Our guys played at Regatta Bay and they said that it was very nice. When we arrived at the house, everything was clean and neat and ready for us. One thing to note, is that the bottom floor bedroom with the balcony, is the only access to the beach from inside, without having to walk out the front door and around to the side walkway. My husband and I stayed in that room and it wasn't a big deal for us at all, but to some it might be. We also received 2 umbrellas and chairs with our stay, which the local beach service set up for us every morning, so we didn't have to worry with that every day. The same beach service will also set up a bonfire on the beach for you at a price. We didn't do that, but a few people around us did and it looked like fun! We have stayed in Destin and the surrounding areas for many years and this house was by far one of our favorites! I would recommend it to anyone looking to make the most out of their vacation :)
