Wonderful Stay
Beautiful home with a very short walk to the beach or a quick golf cart ride. We had four couples stay here and we were very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. There were plenty of extra towels and the sheets were fantastic. We did bring our fire stick as the TVs were not smart TVs which was the only con. A wonderful home!

An Amazing Stay
The Beachwalk property was the perfect place for our family gathering. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for our four-day stay. The setting was ideal in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, with the beautiful beach just a short stroll away. A favorite spot for our group was the screened in back porch where we could watch sunrises and sunsets, and see the alligators swimming up and down the canal. The layout of the house with its 4 bedrooms and 5 bathooms easily accommodated our group of 7, and the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. This house was a wonderful find and truly made our stay in the area memorable. We hope to be able to come back again someday.

Good first time experience...
We had a really good visit and enjoyed the house... It was in line with what we saw online. There was plenty of room for two couples and kids. The location is really good if you are desiring to go to Fripp Island or Beaufort. We ate plenty of seafood at multiple restaurants, but our favorite little place to eat was Another Slice Pizza! In terms of feedback for improvements, I would consider putting blinds into the upstairs master as the sun was beating in and made it tough for our friends to sleep-in or cool the upstairs during the day. The only other recommendation that we have is to consider making some safety improvements to the golf cart. It served us well to and from the the beach / pool, but it is not stable in terms of suspension, tires, and turn radius. We took it slow and safe, but could definitely be a risk to anyone not paying attention or going too fast. All else way fine and our trip was overall very enjoyable! Thanks for having us!!!

Wonderful place to stay!
So nice to have room for 4 families to stay together and everyone had great accommodations! Comfortable beds. Wonderful porches front and back to enjoy the marsh view and the cool breezes. Cart was an extra bonus, kayaks an extra extra bonus. Very short walk to beach. Everyone was very pleased to stay here. A few touchups needed on paint in kitchen and trim and some other fixes needed here and there. But when these things are fixed it will be the best it can be, and that is great!

Would come again!
Nice home with close beach access, quiet neighborhood, and beautiful views. The multiple decks with nice chairs were appreciated. Beds were very comfy, home generally clean and floors had been swept well but needed mopped badly. The most used pieces of cookware were in poor condition which made food prep difficult and even more of a chore. Fun rides on the golf cart were the highlight of the trip. Communication with the realty company was excellent and they were very attentive. I’ve stayed in this home twice before and would be content to do so again.

Great Stay
My family had a wonderful time at this property. The house was exactly how described. It was an amazing property and the community that the home sits in was so quiet and beautiful, it really felt like a home while staying there. I spent a lot of time reviewing properties and was so happy to find this home. Having the park pass to the State park was such a plus the beach at the state park was beautiful. Our family had such a wonderful time on our stay and we don't have enough good things to say about this property. Habor Island is truly a hidden, quiet, peaceful gem and we would love to visit this home again, enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the deck or from a short golf cart drive. Enjoy the serenity and time with your family on your stay.

Refreshingly Peaceful
Beautiful, quiet location with many opportunities for lovely beach walks, fun drives with the golf cart to ball courts at the racquet club, fishing, wild life watching. Clean, well-stocked accommodation had plenty of gathering and private spaces for our group. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the kayaks and golf cart supplied.

More than Expected
We rent through VRBO quite often and I have to say this was one of our favorites. Most properties "feel like a rental," this one felt like someone's personal home they were letting us use. The attention to details such as well-stocked and well-organized kitchen, not just random things shoved in cabinets. More than enough towels and linens. The bedding was clean and like new. The décor was thoughtful and tasteful- even the bookshelves were organized by color and I loved the art on the walls. The owners allow guests to use their 6-person golf cart which was great for getting around the island. They provide 3 kayaks and even have an annual pass to Hunting Island State Park for guest use - all thoughtful touches from the owner in my opinion. The beach access is close and easy to get to, however, the porches and views were our favorite parts. We cooked at home quite a bit but did try Another Slice (pizza and BBQ) and Dockside for seafood. *notes - I noticed in a previous review there was a comment about the furniture/beds needing to be replaced. The pictures do not reflect it, however, the furniture in all of the bedrooms looks brand new and was very comfortable. The kitchen table has been replaced as well.

Great views of the marsh and ocean from back decks! Between beach trips you can swim in the pool! We loved the gulf cart -comes in handy for transport to the beach. The house is very spacious and loved having a bathroom with each of the 4 bedrooms. We had a small bug problem the first day -emailed property management and they were quick to response. I would definitely go back!

Nice Stay
Location was amazing, beaches were great and there is plenty of room at the property. Only issues if I had to say something was the house is in need of a little TLC and a deep cleaning. The house is clean but it just needs a solid DEEP cleaning, fix the doors that are a struggle to open/close and there isn’t a game room, if anything it’s a spider room in need of a lot of cleaning to make it a fun place to hang out. Golf cart was awesome, location was amazing, AC and bedrooms were perfect. For the price, it’s a great find if your ok with the cons.

Unique and very private with Great views
It was a wonderful stay! Things we liked... - The views from the porches. - Seeing the wildlife, the birds and occasional alligator. - The floor plan is very accommodating. Comfortable. - The number of bedrooms and bathrooms (size great too). We had 4 adults and 3 kids. Everyone had their own space. - Golf Cart was nice and convenient. - Pass to Hunting beach which we used several times. - Neighborhood clean and scenic. Just a short walk to the beach. - Beaufort was great! Enjoyed the shops and restaurants, but it is a drive from the property. - Plenty of fresh towels and linens and a washer and dryer that worked great. - Overall a lovely stay. Things that would have made our stay more comfortable... - The mattresses were comfortable, but the beds and furniture in general were old and creaky. - When we arrived the screened porch was pretty dirty. I cleaned and swept it. The furniture out there could use some updating as well. Creeky. And the screen door needs to be replaced. - The weather was beautiful and the pool was still not open. They are very strict on the April 1st date. I did talk to the crew who takes care of the pool (chemicals, etc.) and they were ready to open 4 days before it did. Many other visitors to the island were frustrated as well. Especially since March is spring break time. Something for the owners to consider in the future? Base annual opening around the 1st but not strictly based on the weather? - Providing more provisions like toilet paper, paper towels maybe a few cleaning products so we can maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the house while we were there. The house has 5 big and very nice bathrooms. It also holds a lot of people. We did bring additional supplies but still needed more and feel like a few more rolls would be appropriate to supply. It wouldn't be a big deal but the nearest store to buy that stuff (Walmart) is a good 15-20min away. I found it interesting that no additional toilet paper was provided, yet they asked that we started the laundry, specifically the towels, using our own detergent if we brought it. - Harbor Island is very very private. It is well taken care of, but there are not many restaurants nearby at all and like I said, grocery stores are a drive. We did enjoy Johnson Creek Tavern a lot! There are not many establishments at all once you leave Beaufort. - A gas grill rather than charcoal simply because it was more supplies to buy and we flew in to the area.

Floridians Spring Break in SC. Won't be back!
While we made good memories here we were largely disappointed. The house presented amazingly on VRBO, but upon arrival we noticed that the "just cleaned" house was very dirty and very different than what we expected. The floors had not been mopped or swept, in a long time, some linens were unwashed, some extremely old and falling apart, beds were uncomfortable, the master bedroom bed was broken along with most the blinds in the house and the back porch screens and door was broken. The porch doors also do not lock which is concerning when you have small children in the house. The playground was closed with no posting about that in advance and for a family with three under three, we were pretty upset about that. We experienced rude security and issues with what we could and could not do at every turn within the community. The residents were not welcoming nor were the staff at the nearby state park. Overall for people from Florida who experience tourism often, we appreciate others visiting our state and stimulating the local economy. While the area is unique and beautiful, we've been plenty of places that were much more welcoming and enjoyable. Highlight was the golf cart, Mainland Market and Johnsons Tavern. The mentioned businesses were the most hospitable and gained repeated business from us because of how rare that was.

Amazing views and location!
We loved our stay at this house on cul de sac with cool expansive marsh views (complete with spectacular sunrises and sunsets) off back decks on every floor, easy walk to secluded corner of beach, kayaking out the back door, free pass to Hunting Island State park. Everything was great for our family, what we like in a house, what we like to do.

Perfect Family Getaway
We had an amazing time on our family vacation. The house was perfect for 10 of us with lots of seating options and space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and dishes. We brought our own towels but there were plenty on hand. Morning walks on the beach were full of wildlife watching including sea birds, bunnies, and dolphins. The marsh also was a great place to view seabirds (and an occasional little gator swimming by). The porches/decks were a wonderful place to watch the meteor showers and some summer storms in the distance. We used the pass to visit the Hunting Island Beaches and lighthouse. The kids loved playing in the ocean there and hunting for shells. Thanks for a great stay--I'm sure we will be back!

Small group of social distancers
We had 3 families stay at this property to enjoy a quiet social distancing trip. The house had everything we needed; plenty of space and supplies. It is a very short walk to access the beach and a short drive to Hunting Island, which is more of a typical beach that the kids enjoyed. We enjoyed walks and runs each morning on Harbor Island and saw dolphins every day. Every morning from the screened porch, we saw some small alligators swimming by. It was a very peaceful trip in a great location. We did not go to the pool, but it was open by reservation. We enjoyed the kayaks on the marsh. The golf cart was great for driving to the lot for beach parking and for just cruising around the island. There are several charcoal grills and an outdoor sink on the lowest level and a great outdoor shower for using after the beach. The island is very quiet, which was perfect for us. You have to drive out of the gates to get to any shops or restaurants, but everything is very close.

The house was perfect for 10 people. It was large enough and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen and living room is open and great for entertaining. Beach, pool, privacy, perfect!
The house was perfect, so much room. There are 7+ beach accesses in the area and the pool at the clubhouse is beautiful. The golf cart could fit 6, which was perfect. The porch on the main floor was screened in, which made it a perfect place to enjoy when the bugs came out in the evening. Great experience!
