Located just north of the village of Suttons Bay, this delightful lodge-style home on 100’ of beautiful West Grand Traverse Bay is a nice retreat for long weekends or a week-long vacation. Cedarview has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and sleeps up to 10 guests.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a queen and two twins. The third bedroom is located on the main floor with a queen bed, and there is a sofa bed in the living room. The lower level also has two full bathrooms. The living room and dining room overlook the water. Inside or out, the view of the bay is right in front of you. The living room has a gas fireplace for cool nights and fall retreats.

Wake up to breathtaking sunrises and sparkling blue water at this beautiful spot on the bay. Have breakfast on the deck and drink it all in. This home is on a nicely shaded lot that opens up to a sunny beach. Grill the catch of the day on the provided gas grill. Enjoy the meal out on the deck, where there is ample seating.

The Leelanau Sands Casino is within walking distance of this location. It is an easy drive to Suttons Bay, Omena, and Northport. Suttons Bay has plenty to do with shops, dining, and a vintage movie theater. This is a great location for visiting Leelanau's wineries and breweries. Enjoy hiking, biking, water sports, and more!

60 and 30th family bday getaway

We had 9 people in the house, 6 adults, a 5, 7 and 1 year old. It was a nice place, the views were amazing. The house was clean, but could deffisbtly use some updating. The washing machine no matter if it was a small load or larger, made the LOUDEST noises like it was going to break, but worked. No bathroom upstairs was a downfall for us, which we knew. The yard we were disappointed with was not upkept or mowed, weeds everywhere. Pots and pans need to be thrown out and replaced. Very used. (But we made work) The walk to the casino and having the gas station close was a positive! Casino nothing big or special, but brought some fun late night entertainment! The TV is very confusing and there were no directions, 3 remotes and very confusing for children or people not tech saved to know. It would have also been very nice to have small TVs in bedrooms. The WiFi worked good! It was also nice to have the hose outside to be able to wash off clothes or bodies from sand. Nice having the grill there also. Deck is nice area to hang, could use more chairs, and around fire. Overall it was nice! We enjoyed our stay but may look for some of the other amenities next time! Thanks for having us!

Absolutely Beautiful Location

We came in after dark and did not realize how gorgeous the view was until the next morning. The sunrise was breathtaking over the water as we sipped our coffee on the new deck. We will definitely be back. One suggestion for renters, read their directions carefully if you’re going in after dark. Finding the driveway was a little challenging since I skimmed them missing the details of where to find the drive. Otherwise, everything was spot on and close to all wineries. Thanks for a wonderful weekend of wine tasting and restaurants.

Beautiful home and beach

I stayed here for a week during the summer with my family and some family friends. It was a very nice home, and the backyard and beach were wonderful. We used the firepit for smores and the water was very calm and relaxing to sit by or for the kids to play in the sand. Also love the proximity to Suttons Bay, which is a nice town - about a 5-minute drive away.

Great Little Up North, Lakefront Cabin

We booked this property for a girls weekend and it worked out great for us. We enjoyed that it was right on the bay, and a 5 minute drive to downtown Suttons Bay. The house was as listed, no surprises. It was tricky to find using just the address, but the check-in notes gave some additional directions that were helpful. It was a cute "up north" cabin- very secluded feeling, and quaint, with some updates that made it feel bright and welcoming. The deck was awesome and the firepit by the lake was great. There is a bit of a "beach" but it's rocky so bring water shoes if you're swimming. Definitely bring extra essentials like toilet paper, trash bags- they says they only provide a starter amount and they mean it. Overall we would rent this place again!

Girls Weekend!

We stayed at the cabin for 2 nights. The view was AMAZING, and the location was great for the wineries we wanted to go to. The cabin is definitely dated, but you can tell they are slowly making improvements (updated bathrooms, newer couch/living room furniture, and a beatuful deck). We loved the outdoor space, and wish it was warm enough for us to hang out there more. Our only complaint is that the house was really dusty with quite a few cobwebs. The beds/bedding and bathrooms were clean though.

Great Place to Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice place. Girls weekend trip for eight for the third year in a row. Nice new renovations to bathrooms and new deck. Complaints we have is it does advertise sleeps 10, which it will, but there isn’t enough seating. One couch and one chair is all there is so we bring our outdoor chais in so we can sit together. Suggest a wrap around couch. Also, could use a deep cleaning. Behind the beds, dressers and baseboards are very dirty. Comforter upstairs had stains on it. Microwave didn’t work.

Just ok

Spiderwebs, water stains on dining room ceiling, missing register cover next to bed, no curtain on upstairs window (had to use a blanket to cover for privacy), loose handrail, latch on patio door is loose and doesn’t always lock. Has a great view of the water and nice large windows which made the dining room and living room inviting. Master bedroom is on the main floor with its own bathroom so that is great! I wish I would have realized the other bathroom was also on the main floor; none upstairs. You are expected to take the garbage to a nearby dumpster located near the property which was not ideal.

For price should be better

Beautiful location. Sleeps 10 enough seating for 4. None of the windows operate, microwave in kitchen inoperable and the pans they supply should be discarded. Bathrooms updated and nice. They have washer and dryer but dryer needs 3 cycles to dry. Overall cleanliness is sub par and needs addressed some stains on comforters and they need to move furniture when vacuuming. Dropped my phone next bed about 2 inches of dust underneath. When your paying that much it’s not to much to at least get a pump hand soap to use in the bathrooms and kitchen. I read reviews and the same things people criticized 2 years ago have not been addressed just know that going in.

The few things that were missing upon arrival were brought to us right away after we reported it. Agency was very responsive and helpful. 4 stars on location only because its a little difficult to find, people walked across our beach one morning and dogs were on the property running around off leash, and the rocky beach wasn’t ideal for my little guy but overall still a lovely place!

Not well kept the inside had webs everywhere and the place overall was dirty. Backyard was nice with deck and views but I would not stay here again. I’m surprised it has as many high ratings listed here.

Nice Place and Great Location

Nice place for a weekend getaway. Beautiful view of the lake, close to Sutton’s Bay for shopping and Casino right across the road. This is the time our group of 10 older friends have stayed here. One issue, we had to use camp chairs to have enough inside seating. One couch seats 3 and matching chair seats one. We are gone most of the time so evenings is the only time seating is an issue. This place just seems to work for us so we plan on returning again next year!

Outstanding View

The location was very nice with a beautiful view and lovely beach and yard. The cabin was a bit outdated. The linens and towels were clean but the rest of the house, furniture etc. were older and dirty. There was a leak under the sink and it smelled moldy in the cabinet. The pull-out couch could not be used because it was in disrepair. The upstairs was very hot and there was only one small fan for two bedrooms. We did have a wonderful visit in Sutton's Bay and with some upgrades, this cottage could be a gem.
