Not what you paid for
A few things about this house. It is a cute home in the historical district, however We had a few problems with the Home. We are ones that like to stay and pay the price for a nice place to stay and respect others belongings As we left for the weekend I contacted the owner and I guess I was supposed to tell her everything we were having problems with as they arise, at any hour of the day or night, but I didn’t and she didn’t address everything that we had talked about either. Bar stool was broken in the kitchen, Internet slow and kept freezing, piles of wires on the bedroom floor, air mattress is listed as a queen bed, but it is in the third bedroom and no ceiling light in this room. We didn’t pay for an air mattress to be in one of our bedrooms. Those are for a just in case you need an extra bed. the heat blew on high hot heat all night and it was so hot upstairs you would sweat standing there. We started the washer and took a shower on the second floor to find out on the first level there was rusty water coming out of a can light onto the wood floor. Only 1 remote has working batteries so you had to keep exchanging them to watch another tv in another room. She said they haven’t had any complaints like this and it is booked every weekend. Hard for me to say no one! has said anything about any one of these items being wrong. And it really isn’t left up to the renters responsibility to tell them a LIST of things that were wrong with this home. I can see 1-2 things, but not a list. Again if things were fixed it would be a good cute house for the amount of money being paid for a nice weekend.
