Overall ok

Overall a nice property but needs some updates. Sinks in master bath were clogged, tears in furniture, and the cupboards were peeling. Mainly cosmetic things but def needs some updates. The community overall is nice.

Absolutely Awful Experience

The Good – Location was good….20 minutes give or take from anything you want to get to at/around Disney. But DON’T stay at this house and DON’T stay at a Nova property – read on. The Bad – Notice, none of this is a matter of opinion or preference, rather facts: Paid for heated pool and based on Nova Vacation Homes was told it’d be 78-82 degrees in colder months. Upon waking up day 1 there (Saturday), this pool was as cold as the air and no way near the promised temperature. Noticed, too, that the hot tub water level was about 6” too low. And after brushing teeth in the sinks in our bedroom, noticed that sinks would not drain. Placed a call to customer service at Nova at 11:16am to report problem and that we were also looking for the code for the Roku remote to add a channel. Was told they’d relay to property manager. Called again 9:18pm and was told the same thing. No call back on Saturday from anyone. Hot tub level now even lower, just above the jets. Sunday morning 11:27am placed a THIRD call to customer service and was told that maybe I would have better luck getting in touch with the property manager. Really? They gave me his number so I left him a message at 11:30am. Called him again 1:44pm after not hearing back. (meanwhile, in addition to the aforementioned items, we’re out of garbage bags and dishwasher tabs but no one to tell this to). Sometime around 2:30pm Sunday a tech shows up at the house, puts a hose in the pool, turns it on and leaves. Before I could get out to talk to him, he was gone. No call from property manager Sunday so left another vm for him at 8:30pm. Sunday night the pool was REALLY full and the hot tub was filled back up. But the hot tub was no longer hot and the pool was now freezing. Yeah, some pretty sad kids and a useless hot tub and pool (primary reason we booked this place) Monday 12:15pm I placed another call to customer service and was told by Andrew I’d be hearing from a customer service manager. Never happened. I’ll spare you the entire experience post check out, but it includes an owner unwilling to refund a portion of our miserable stay. Do yourself a favor – do not stay at this property OR any vacation home managed by Nova Vacation Homes.

good learning experience

This was my first booking a VRBO. The pictures online must have been taken a long time ago. The Kitchen and Bathroom looked and were very tired and not clean. My girlfriend had to clean all the sinks before she would even use them. The owner even stopped by unexpectedly to drop off a plunger and some random glasses. I had some difficulty understanding him and why he was here. He wanted to install a new remote in the bedroom and was quite taken back when I wouldn't let him in there. My girlfriend was in there changing her clothes so I said no. We also received a email just before we left to say if you wanted the pool to be heated there was an upcharge and had to be on the whole time we were there. 8 days total. . I will never rent from an individual owner I learned my lesson. always rent from a group.

Convenient location, beautiful gated community

Check in and check out procedure simple, loved the gated community and it’s amenities. The community pool and splash area were a big hit with our younger ones. A few minor issues could use addressed in the home, a deep clean/replacement of the carpet and paint peeling off the kitchen cabinets. My only suggestion is allow 2 towels per person as we needed towels in kitchen as well. Overall great property.

Great location but issues need attention

There are a few things the property owners may not be aware of I would like to point out. I hope this helps since it doesn't appear the property is inspected regularly. The condition of the cabinets is in disrepair, there is paint peeling off of the doors. A drawer was broken in one of the bathrooms. The t.v. in one of the bedrooms was not working properly despite all of our best efforts to connect. The carpets desperately need cleaning. The pool looked green and could use maintenance. There were no hand towels in the kitchen, only 2 towels per bathroom and they were pretty worn. No face towels or bath cloths at all. Be aware that although it was not listed on the opening page on VRBO, you will only be allowed 3 parking places. It is listed in the final contact which comes from Nova rentals after you reserve the location. I reached out to the property managers and they would not allow an additional car so we had to arrange to park one of our family member's cars at a remote location which was a hassle. If they can attend to these issues, the location is great as it is very close to the parks.

Great location

Very close to Disney parks and Universal. The house was very entertaining with comfortable furnishings. My only complaint is the lack of amenities. One bathroom had no soap. We had no coffee filters. No laundry soap. And only two garbage bags and dish detergent pods. It’s an inconvenience to have to buy these bulk items to get through the week. They want you to put out garbage and wash dishes but don’t give you enough supplies to do it. Would give higher rating if they put more thought into their paying customers needs. Cleanliness was questionable too.

Feel like a home

We could not be more pleased with our stay. The home decorations are perfect for a Disney setting and trip. It is modern and updated. It was immaculately clean. This is huge when you are calling a place home for your stay. It has everything you need from appliances to location. Great location with a short drive to Disney parks, and about 15 to 20 minutes to Universal Studio. Supermarket close by and plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes. The resort has plenty to do for the kids. Large heated pool, awesme spa tub and waterpark for the kids. Ours kids where in heaven. Us parents got to relax and enjoy while watching them have a blast. Perfect!! It is all a keyless entry which is nice. The condo owner was proactive and had great communication. Our kids choose a different bed to sleep in every night as the kids bedroombeds are beyond fun!! The washer and dryer came in handy as well, such a bonus. This is the perfect cozy. We feel it like a home after 2 night stay. Highly recommend!!!

Great stay

I came across this property and since our group have some die hard Star Wars and Harry Potter fans I knew this place was where we had to stay. This home worked out perfectly for our trip to Disney World! It is very quiet as there is No Rear Neighbor. We enjoyed time there, our family didn't even go to the community pool as the kids in our group (3 yrs, 5 yrs, 10yrs and 12yrs) didn't want to leave the house pool. In the past, we've always had to clean a rental before we felt comfortable. This house was pristine! Walmart just around corner is the biggest I have ever seen. We went there almost every day for beer, fresh fruit, poker card and clothes. there are also great restaurants along the route. All the Disney parks are an easy 15-minute drive. We saved a lot of time from traffic. The kitchen truly has everything you need to make whatever you want. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Very disappointed

We were so disappointed in the condition of this property. Had we options for our week long stay in Orlando for a family of 7, we would have left and forgone the deposit. While we were under no circumstances expecting the Ritz Carlton, we have stayed at other condos in this exact subdivision, so I know what can be expected in this price range. There was mold in the showers, the shower trays and tubs are stained and coated in soap scum. There are months (at least) of bugs in the lights, the carpet is stained, the floors are stained and have grout everywhere, the kitchen cabinets are falling apart, the fridge is slimy, and the pool area is deplorable with moldy chairs, caving bricks, and mold under the rim of the pool. The garden hose is cracking in at least six spots, but we were required to somehow fill the pool with it. I sent an email re-stating all of the above to the property manager but no one ever responded. I don’t know if the property owners are aware of the condition of this home but it needs a lot of help. We will not be staying here again or recommending that anyone we care about do so.

Little Things Mean a Lot!

This is a beautiful home! The cleanliness, the attractive decor, the layout, and the location make it a perfect vacation spot. Where to begin .... The home is located in Windsor Hills, within an easy walk to the large children's playground and the clubhouse and pool complex. Best of all, it is located on a lot with no rear neighbors. The pool overlooks a huge grassy lawn and gets plenty of sun throughout the day; the spa gets nice and warm. The interior furnishings are top notch and very comfortable. All mattresses look and feel like they're brand new. Kitchen appliances are up to date and, to our delight, Everything Worked perfectly!! The grill, the spa jets, the ice maker, the toaster, the games, etc. (One would assume this to be the norm with rental homes at this price, but we've found that isn't always true.) Among the "little things" we loved: a huge selection of cookware and bakeware, a large supply of plastic storage containers, a large set of lovely matching tableware- we never ran out of cups, plates, etc. There is a complete set of heavy plastic dishes, bowls and glasses for the children to use, or for outdoor dining. There were even toddler-size eating utensils! And enough starter cleaning materials and even toiletries, that we did not need to immediately rush to the grocery. While our original information indicated that no pool towels were provided, we found 8-10 nice size beach towels, perhaps left by former renters, which we gratefully laundered after use and restacked. [Folks, please don't filch things from these homes; it makes it harder on the next renter.) All of these details, the fine quality bedding, the attractive furnishings made our time here a total joy. We were delighted with our stay and hope to return here next year!

House was clean and accommodated 12 amazingly well Very spacious and comfortable.

Very impressed with this house overall. Slight issue with flying insects in both master suites downstairs and clogged drain in upstairs bath. Upstairs bedrooms were warm during the night, since the thermostats are required to not be lowered below 72 degrees. Would suggest overhead fans like the downstairs bedrooms to make temperature more tolerable, however there were other fans available to use if desired. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was spacious and had everything you could possibly need to prepare food. Only disappointment was the pool area. The brick walkway around the pool and the outdoor furniture cushions were covered in algae. Both are very very much in need of cleaning. Neighborhood is secure and very close to stores and restaurants. Disney property is only 10 minutes away and universal is only 20 mins. Would absolutely stay in this house again.

Great location to Disney and restaurants.

House was not particularly clean. As though the vacuum cleaner did not work properly. There is a bug problem in the two downstairs suites bathrooms. Also, there was a rodent of some kind in the kitchen wall/ceiling scratching a lot. We called and reported it. Don’t think anyone ever came by to check it out. Besides the nuisances above our stay was great. Plenty of room for our party of eight. Beds very comfortable. Great location. Would consider again. Thanks.

Perfect for 9-10 people

Felt like home after a few days! Nice, updated furnishings, and all things related to everyday living. Kitchen had everything we needed. The only small things I would suggest are instructions for tv operation in usable place and some faucets’ hot/cold are switched. Service calls concerning these were answered with lightning speed! Otherwise a beautiful home in a lovely gated vacation community.

Spacious, comfortable, and quiet

This beautiful home is the perfect layout for families vacationing together. The 2 downstairs master bedrooms are huge, with one on either side of the den. My oldest grandson loved the downstairs Star Wars room, and the youngest liked being upstairs in the Harry Potter room next to his parents in the upstairs Master. We highly recommend this home!

We had a fantastic holiday in your superb villa all 8 adults and three children. Every thing you need is supplied in the villa which has been renovated last year to a very high standard. Loved our stay and our house and almost everything about our vacation to your property.

A nice playground was nearby which was convenient and we had our own swimming pool which is a must have for us. Although the large swimming park area in the pictures of the resort were misleading because upon further investigation we found they were under construction. Sorry to say but probably would have chosen a different resort that had the lazy river if I had realized that. Otherwise everything was great!

Just right for our size!

This home was just the right size for our family. We had a group of 11 that included 6 adults, 4 teenagers, and 1 toddler. Each room had its own bathroom and that was the best time saver for us. Anytime I had a question Frank was on it!! Response time was minutes instead of hours or days. Because we had such a large group we did have to purchase extra trash bags and toilet paper rolls. Walmart is extremely close and you're able to get whatever you need. Beds, bedding, pillows, and furniture were all comfortable. House was very clean. On another note - the waterpark in this community is not complete and the only thing available was the pool. We were a tad disappointed that the slides and Jacuzzi were not available, but we still made the best of it and had a good time in their large pool. We would recommend this home for your large family or party!
