Decent little cabin in a nice location close to Kangaroo Lake, Bailey’s Harbor and Jacksonport. Comfortable enough, decent amenities, but a little pricey for what you get.
Location had everything I needed for a race weekend and little get away.
Property had all the amenities I could ask for, easy to access, and convenient to get to really anything within the peninsula. Hoping to book again next year
My mom turned 60 and has never been to door county. We did all the things and visited Washington Island! The cabin location was easy to get to and clean.
Very Clean and well set up. The yard is pretty with a beautiful surround of cedar and birch trees. No mosquitoes at all on our stay, come to find out Cedar Trees are a natural repellent. Love it, and would book it again.
We absolutely love staying here. Easy living, regardless of time of year. Great location for visiting any aspect of Door County. Can't wait for next year!
Perfect location to stay for golf weekend with friends, 4 beds and bar across street. Perfectly located within 3 different golf courses within 10 minutes.
Wonderful, clean, dog friendly property in a great location. Host was lovely to communicate with. Would come back and highly recommend.

Darling cozy cabin!
We very much enjoyed our stay in this darling cabin. It was so cozy sitting by the fire 🔥 with the snow still outside, we didn’t want to leave. Would have preferred If downstairs bed was a Queen size, but everything was comfy and cozy, with very tasteful decor. Our new winter getaway spot. And the owner is great, kind and responsive.
Found this pet friendly rental with a last-minute opening during the week. It was a good value for the price. The outdoor space was very nice. Loved the fire pit area. Very private.
A cute rustic A-frame.
However, missing some features that would have been nice, including personal touches such as pictures on the walls, etc.
The cleaning person only leaves one set of towels and sheets per person. We had three people and told them that, but they only left two. They did bring the rest the next day after we contacted the property owner.
All of the sheets were put on top the bed (not made). Apparently that’s what many of the cleaning services do there. But I thought that was odd. Some of the pillows were stained.
Lacking counter space in the kitchen and bathroom.
The water was not drinkable (likely iron) and had poor water pressure. Luckily, we were informed of the water ahead of time and brought bottled water.
The upstairs was cute, with three beds. However, the spiral staircase to get to it was very narrow and we were not able to bring our luggage up, so we ended up having to leave our luggage downstairs, which became quite cluttered.
We loved the outdoor area, which was very private, and had a nice fire pit. Unfortunately, the deck and all the patio furniture were covered with dead bugs and tree debris… Obviously weren’t cleaned recently. We had to scrub down the table and chairs.
Quite dark inside.
Would have been very tight with a larger group.
This a frame is super adorable and fun. Tucked away in the woods across from a bar and restaurant, which was also nice. Was easy to get around the penninsula using the a frame as our home base. Will recommend to anyone looking to stay up in door county!
This is a beautiful cabin. The yard was very private and quiet. The bar across the street was noisy at times but it didn't affect the peacefulness of my stay. I enjoyed myself very much and would like to return in the future.
The cabin was very clean and cozy. We did bring water with as (as suggested in comments) because of well water. Kangaroo Lake and local bar/eatery right across road, and close driving distance to popular attractions. Very private location. Would love to return.
This is our third time at this property, and we love it. Great location, easy access to local attractions, great accommodations. The owner and staff are super friendly and make sure you have what you need.
We had a great Thanksgiving. This cabin is secluded but very close to enough amenities. The walking trails were great. One note - make sure to bring your own water. The water is not suitable for drinking.
Great, cute little A-frame for our anniversary trip. The cabin is very conveniently located near all the stops we were hoping to visit. There’s a great bar and grill across the street that made late night snacks possible. There’s a fireplace, fire pit, and plenty of yard for our dog to sniff. It was quiet at night and the porch has string lights that made it feel as if we were at home. Alyssa was very easy to reach and the place was very clean on our arrival. We would definitely stay again!
