Mother's Day Weekend

Best stay ever!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. The property manager was helpful and friendly. The condo had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Everything was clean and neat. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. We plan to stay here again and recommend it highly.

We had a great experience!!! The Caravelle property is older but we had a great view of the ocean, 2 min walk to the beach, awesome pools, super comfortable beds and close to everything!!! Thank you Teresa for being a great host!!!

Myrtle Beach stay

This property is very rundown. The unit has a moldy smell, and the was loud water noises in the middle of the night. I sounded like someone was showering or washing something, that was loud enough to wake us from sleep. The person that was making the condo, whose name is Teresa, was very pleasant. But the property it self was not as nice as was advertised. Every aspect of this property was a disappointment. From the pool to the unit, to the crappy elevator. I would not stay there again. For the price, it was very unsatisfactory.

Summer vacation

We enjoyed our stay here. Teresa was very accommodating. The rental unit was very clean and had Everything we needed. Couldn’t ask for more. Steps away from the beach. Nice view of beach from our balcony. We will be back again.

A few bumps, but we had a blast!

Overall we had a great time! We had a few bumps here and there but not enough to ruin our time! During check in, we assumed we were to check in at the front desk for parking passes, etc.. However, my husband waited in line almost 20 minutes in the office for her to be extremely rude to him, because she “didn’t understand why he was there” (her words). She finally informed him that if he booked on vrbo he didn’t need to check in, and we should have received parking passes in the mail. We did not. I even went through every email from vrbo and couldn’t find anything about parking passes etc. Parking in the actual lot is a nightmare, especially if you drive a truck! Another thing I never could figure out was why house keeping knocked on our door almost every am and woke us up but then stated they couldn’t give us anything we needed because we booked through vrbo. Mid-week I emailed the contact in the email and asked about bath towels but never received a reply. Also, our TV in the bed room never worked, there were two sitting there so we just assumed they were in the process of trying to get one to work. So our main issues were communication and actual caravel property issues. Our actual room was clean, and had everything we needed for the week.

If you liked college-cheap stays, this is your place

It was grossly outdated with a bed in the kitchen for extra people to cram into a one bedroom condo. The building is old, and the front locks didn’t work. The lock to the condo unit was peculiar in that if you locked it from the inside, you actually voided the lock system. It wasn’t a place I’d stay in twice.

Great getaway for the family!

The room was as described and it had everything we needed. It was very clean. Bea our main connection on the property was a doll. She was able to answer our questions and help us with most of our needs. Her work ethic is remarkable. The hotel is close to everything.

Very outdated intetior furnushingd

The room was well equipped with everything needed to cook. However the stove burners were rusted a and filthy. The oven wad also filthy. It reslly needs replacing. The furniture was outdated by 20× years. The floors had been swept but no mopping. My socks were black on the bottoms from the floor. It would be a nice place wirh some updated stove, den furniture and dinette table. Not impressed at all.

Great stay

Photos provided on site were accurate. Place was clean. Host was helpful answering questions. Keyless entry was easy to use. The location was right next to the beach. Plenty of shops and restaurants were nearby. I enjoyed the residential location with plenty of sidewalks for morning and afternoon walks

Beach weekend

Really enjoyed our stay. It was great we could bring my daughters dog. The location is next to where we have stayed for 36 years. So we know the area well. The condo was clean and well equipped. We’ll be back.

Enjoyed our stay!

This condo is in a great location, just steps from the beach! The balcony AND the dining table inside overlook the ocean. Facility was nice & clean and everyone we met who worked there was friendly & welcoming. In good location for restaurants but delivery has a little trouble finding the right place (not the fault of the condo, just logistics!). We were also VERY thankful to bring our fur baby with us...thank you for that!!! The only “negative” is that the air conditioner in the bedroom isn’t working properly. Seems like it needs to be replaced. Other than that, everything else seemed to be in good order! We liked that there were beach chairs/umbrella, boogie boards for those who may need to use them. Overall, nice place & we would stay here again!
