Beautiful House between Zion and Bryce

We spent 3 nights in this beautiful property and visited Zion and Bryce during the day. The house is spacious ( There is a beautiful deck that we used for our barbecue). There are many games as well as a large Jacuzzi. The hosts are very helpful if you have any questions.

A perfect Christmas

The property was the perfect size with lots of activities. We had 8 adults, one teenager, one toddler, and a baby with us. There were lots of indoor and outdoor activities and we were far enough away from neighbors that we didn’t worry about being too loud or annoying. The hosts were on property and super responsive anytime we needed anything. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get away with a large group.

A great getaway

Our group had a great time staying at this cabin! We had 9 adults and 8 children and there was plenty of room for everyone; the loft was great for all of the kids when it came to sleeping. There was plenty to do indoors and outdoors; the kids had a blast all weekend long. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware and dishes we needed. Our trip was split visiting Zion NP and Bryce Canyon NP. This place was conveniently located between the two parks and very close to the highway; it was a breeze getting to where we needed to go. Jim and Bonnie were very welcoming and wonderful hosts; they were quick to respond if there was anything we needed. We would highly recommend this place, especially if travelling with a large group!

A lot of fun!

We had a great time staying at this cabin between Christmas and New Years. Jim and Bonnie are so kind and are wonderful hosts. It was a little tricky with babies sleeping and not being able to access the bedroom that is separate from the house without having to go outside to get to the room. Hobbit Hut and Treehouse weren’t as appealing to sleep in so we opted not to have anyone in there. Kitchen is well-equipped. Towels could be updated but overall it was a lot fun gathering together as a family!

Wonderful Cabin, Perfect for a Family Reunion

Our family had a fantastic time while staying at this cabin. There were 25 of us ages 2 to 70 and everyone had a fabulous time. The cabin is located in a beautiful area surrounded by pine trees and an open meadow. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and seeing deer around the cabin in the evenings. The kids and adults had fun with all the activities on the property and we had camp fires several nights during our stay. We enjoyed day trips to Bryce and Zion as well as an evening in nearby Cedar Breaks. The hosts, Bonnie and Jim were wonderful and helped make our stay fabulous. The kids and adults enjoyed all the activities at the cabin from basketball to ping pong, pool, darts, hot tub, swings, hammocks, tree house, sand box and lots more. I would highly recommend this property to any group looking for a fun cabin to stay at while exploring Bryce, Zion and the surrounding area. The cabin has plenty of beds and bedding and all the kitchen essentials to cook for a large group.

Great location!

PROS: Great location & perfect for large groups with kids! Close to fishing & outdoor sightseeing places such as Zion, Bryce Canyon, Brian Head, & Duck Creek. Lovely outdoor patio with plenty of seating & spectacular views to watch the deer grazing. Although watch out for bat droppings coming from the 2 bats that live between the facia above the patio. Kids loved the property's zip line, tree house, billiards, foosball, pingpong tables, etc. Onsite owners are friendly, too. CONS: Even though the owners are very friendly, onsite actually means they live in the same house which was awkward getting used to & uncomfortable having to walk through their part of the house throughout the day. Kitchen was small for our group but we managed & the appliances were old, especially the oven so we ended up using the grill on the patio a lot. Finally, the couches located in the kitchen & dining area sag & were very uncomfortable. Being that most people gather in that area, I strongly recommend they invest in more comfortable furniture.

Amazing Mountain Views

We had an amazing time. The views were amazing. There was plenty of snow the house reminded us of being back at grandma and grandpa‘s. The kids definitely have tons of memories that they will have for years to come.

Unique home, good location for visiting National Parks

Our family enjoyed our stay, and found the home comfortable for our needs. The game room was enjoyed by the kids, deck offered plenty of space for dining for our group, many of us enjoyed the zip line. Our days were spent driving to Zion, Bryce, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Cedar Breaks, and one longer trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The proximity to these parks was the main reason for choosing this location.

Perfect for large or multiple families!

This place was so much fun for our family reunion. We had 15 people ages 1-65 and there was more than enough room and things to do. We loved the Zipline and the hot tub. The hosts are on-site and are wonderful people. Very hospitable! The house has all the basics covered and even had baby gear and toys which was very nice. My personal favorite was the view from the amazing deck and the fancy fire pit. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Needs some attention

Jim and Bonnie were lovely hosts and did their best to accommodate our needs when we asked for something. There were 11 of us and we experienced a few issues: NO DISHWASHER. There’s about 4 feet of workable counter space in the kitchen (without a dish drainer on the counter) and it was missing very basic items - measuring cups, spoons, enough plates for our group, etc. There was an abundance of beds but there wasn’t a dresser in the place so we found ourselves living out of suitcases for the week. The weather was chilly and there was a significant difference in temperature between the basement and the first floor. The house has a lot of potential but needs updated. Adding an additional shower would make a big difference. The house was clean and the location was convenient to Bryce & Zion.

Amazing property with amazing hosts!!

We had such an awesome experience! The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. The hosts were the sweetest and most helpful people. Even though they lived in the same cabin their living area was still separate from where we stayed and they made sure we were comfortable. It was like they weren't their unless you needed something. It was awesome! I definitely want to vacation their again!!! 5 out of 5 star ⭐ recommendation!!!!

Fun family place

Very impressed with the amount of activities and location of this property. Close to several parks, which is what I wanted for hiking. But our large group with several young children decided to just stay at the cabin and enjoy the plethora of amenities and at night the adults sat in the hot tub and had fun conversations by the fire! Overall best trip we've had together, and owners are very lovely. Only recommendations I have would be a little up date with kitchen supplies. Knives and pans mostly are in bad repair.

Wow doesn't do this property justice!

We were in town for the Bryce Canyon Ultramarathon. We needed a place close to Hatch and we had a large group. We settled on this property due to its location and size and we were quickly blown away with hospitality. Jim & Bonnie went over the top to help our group from the moment we arrived. Not only was the property amazing but the 'at home' comfort feeling was ever present and there wasn't anything we needed that wasn't available.

Amazing family reunion in Long Valley Junction

Our group consisted of 30 people ranging in age from 1 to 70. We had teenagers, toddlers, adult couples and there were plenty of rooms and beds for everyone. The zip line was a favorite of the kids as well as the tree swing. We were about 40 minutes from Bryce Canyon so it was great to visit that spectacular location. The hosts Bonnie and Jim live on the property and were very helpful and accommodating. The fire pit was also a very cool gathering place for us in the evening. This was a great location to accommodate our large group.

Amazing hosts!

I had small concerns about the property owners being on site and potentially hovering, but they were really amazing. Helpful and available when we had questions, and kept to themselves otherwise. We had a great family reunion and plenty of activities to keep the teens and kiddos busy in any weather. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!!!

Blessed Ohana from Maui Hawaii

Our family of 26 from Maui Hawaii was blessed to stay at the Eclectic Chalet. The Chalet was very spacious and comfortable. Well equipped for ages 7mo -82yrs old. Jim and Bonnie were great hosts and always available if you needed anything. The kitchen was well equipped even for our large family and lots of refrigerators for your food. The jacuzzi was great at the end of the day. The kids played with the air hockey, ping pong table, pool table and the basketball hoop out on the deck. So close to Bryce and Zion National Parks. Long junction valley is a great location with little grocery stores nearby. Gas station and convenient store only a 1/4 mile away. The views were amazing. The weather and temperatures were nice in the day and chilly at night in October. Our family would definitely recommend Eclectic Chalet. Great place for large groups and retreats. Mahalo Jim and Bonnie for opening your beautiful home to our family who appreciates all that you did to accommodate our family. The best part was your amazing zip line! God bless you and your family. Much love and aloha from Maui Hawaii!

This best vacation experience you can imagine

There are several factors that makes your stay the best experience. - The location: this place is located in a great area between Zion, Bryce, Kanab, etc. If you want to see the Southern Utah area just book it and go to one national park a day and come back home in 45 min. - Design: It is not just a house that people rent. It is designed to be a vacation place for large groups: treehouse, zip-line, large fire pit, hobbit house, multiple gathering areas, greenhouse, pool, volleyball court, etc. - The owner: Very friendly and helpful. Probably, the most important feature of the house that we enjoyed was that we got to know two really great people and talk to them about the life in that area, etc. Very professional and very friendly.

Fall Break Family Reunion

We had a wonderful vacation with all 26 of our family. We had 12 grandkids under 10. Some of my kids were concerned about having Jim and Bonnie living there, it was not a problem. They stayed out of sight, unless we needed them. My family was having so much fun they chose to not go to Bryce. Jim and Bonnie helped us find some hikes close by. The game room was great. The deck is huge and way nice to sit on. The fire pit was fun. The highlight was the zipline which was better and longer than expected. Everyone rode it from age 1 to 54. There were multiple swings to also enjoy and a sand pile stocked with toys. Jim also showed us trails for our 4 wheelers. My 26 year old son asked when we were going back. The grandkids wanted us to just move in with Jim and Bonnie. We will plan on returning.
