Nice Cabin

Have stayed in preserve resort many times. Cabin was nice. We enjoyed our stay. Only issue pictures and description said had a grill and it did not. The cleaning of cabin could be better. Floors were very dusty. Other than that cabin was nice.

Great stay - astounding Views

Clean house, great surrounding cabin atmosphere.. would have liked access to the community gym there on the mountain. The other community pool/building is like 3 miles away down the windy roads in Wears Valley. Would recommend owner consider getting that access to building up the hill at the lookout by pavilion and chapel. Thanks for a great stay overall.

Lovely cabin, not very clean

First of all, this cabin is adorable with an amazing view. My daughter and I wanted to spend Christmas in the mountains, and this cabin had everything on our wishlist. We were even able to bring our Lab! The set up is nice with the gaming loft, hot tub on the deck, and cozy living room. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as dishes and utensils. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were so excited upon arrival, but realized nothing had been cleaned after the previous tenants. Dirty towels and blankets in the tub, toothpaste in the sink, etc. There also are no cleaning supplies. Luckily i brought my own. I contacted our host via app and text. He called me quickly, apologizing and explaining a miscommunication with the cleaning crew. He had someone over within 10 mins to do a quick sanitation and begin laundry. However, i had to finish the laundry, and there was no detergeant so i had to use my own. It was a shame to not be able to relax after driving 6 hours and spending so much money.. on further inspection, you can tell this place hasnt been deep cleaned in a very long time. It truly is a shame considering how nice the cabin is, and how kind the owners seem. I hope they get a new cleaning crew! Because you shouldnt have to clean up after others on vacation..

Gross!!

Upon arrival, we found the property to be aesthetically pleasing, but our initial impression was brief. Within the first five minutes, we observed a brown substance on the toilet seat and promptly notified the cleaning services, who responded the same night. However, while in bed, I discovered, what appeared to be, dog feces on the floor beside my bed, which was particularly concerning since we did not bring a dog to the VRBO property. I reached out to the owners, but they failed to respond. The cleaning services claimed the brown substance on the toilet was dirt, not feces or blood, but they never addressed the feces beside my bed. They were dismissive of our concerns and instead chose to debate the nature of the substance on the toilet. Furthermore, most of the windows did not lock, posing a significant safety concern. The loft area had a large number of dead flies, which the cleaners claimed were Beetles. As someone familiar with Beetles , having lived in Ohio where they are common, I found this explanation to be inaccurate. This experience was particularly disappointing, as I have rented numerous VRBO properties in the past without incident. I have pictures of all this. We did not even use the hot tub worried about its cleanliness. I have notified VRBO. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Beautiful View

We loved this cabin. I was hesitant to book due to some bad reviews but I'm glad we did. It was perfect for my family of 5 needs. We found the cabin to be very clean. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and the gaming room. The Christmas tree was a nice suprise. The view was beautiful during the day and night. We got to star gaze during the night and the kids loved that. Overall, it's a great pet friendly cabin. We would book again.

Will be booking again!

The cabin when we arrived was very clean and well maintained. The view was absolutely breathtaking! We arrived in late November around thanksgiving and the cabin was decorated for Christmas in the most cozy and inviting way possible! We loved the Christmas tree, and were even more thrilled to find the beds were comfy, warm, and really hard to stay out of. This cabin supplies everything you could think of in the kitchen, and also plenty of towels and warm throw blankets. The view from the hot tub deck was enchanting, but the view from the living room was even better. Will be booking again! Especially for holiday getaways.

I do not recommend this cabin

Grill in pic is not there. I even messaged host to confirm the grill and she said yes. My biggest complaint is that this cabin was not clean. It seemed like the cleaning crew did the beds, whiped the kitchen countertops and iside toilet bowl. The floors were very dirty even sticky in some areas. The cook ware t was burrnt up and un usable. The windows for the view were very dirty. There was a cleanung rag left in the the jacuzzi. I have pics of all of this. I have stayed in the mountains several times and this was my worst experience.

Beautiful Cabin

This was a beautiful cabin and location - and we enjoyed our stay. We would book again!! The reason for the 4 star overall was the sparseness of supplies and kitchen items, a few things need repair (refrigerator drawers, dryer handle and lint catchers, A couple of the chair legs were loose, the table had a loose leg, a bar stool back was lpillows but no pillowcases. to be found.

Nice, but not private

The home is really nice and comfortable--well suited for families. The big problem for my husband and I was that the onsite description gives the impression that you are "miles away" from others and the pictures suggest that same idea--no close neighbors, etc. Just so you know before you go, you will be in a line of about 60 homes and neighbors are within 100 feet on both sides of you.

Beautiful!

The view from the cabin was beautiful and the whole cabin was so comfortable! We spent most of our vacation just hanging out at the property and we loved every minute of it. The beds and the couches were all so comfy, and between the hot tube and the bathtub we were able to get all of our relaxation in

My husband and I fell in love with Smokies when we came to visit the first time with my 3 boys and parents. Majestic Vista gives me the getaway I need from my daily routine and still have my kids with me. Me and JD love traveling and vacationing. It might be staying at 5 stars hotels, exploring another country, bag packing adventure trip, or glamping we done it. Smokies is my all time favorite destination because of the smoky mountains and bears in the wilderness. Hiking and relaxing in the hot tub with glass of wine is my favorite thing to do when I am there. Majestic Vista can have my kids under one roof with me and we still have a nice blend of romantic getaway, outdoor activities, relaxation.

The highest compliment you can give Majestic Vista, is come visit us again or refer your friend. We would be DELIGHTED!
