Gorgeous Loft in Lower East Side! 2 MO. Stay Minimum

Looking for tenants to stay 2 months or longer.

This spacious, sunny and joyful loft is aprox 1,100 sq ft. (102 sq, mt) Located in the heart of the hip & trendy, LOWER EAST SIDE. It is very rare to find a loft with 15 windows facing three directions and a small patio for dining. Fantastic location, close to shopping, 5 star restaurants, Sunshine Theater and one short block to the F train/metro. (the 6th Avenue train that runs up the middle of Manhattan- Easy transfers to all other trains.)

It's a very colorful and lively area of the Lower East Side, filled with young people shopping and dinning. It is a VERY SAFE & SECURE NEIGHBORHOOD and the apartment is located just a few building away from a busy street. The apartment is between two businesses that are open late at night, so you will feel very safe coming home in the evening.

It comes fully furnished with beautiful mission style furniture. It has an open kitchen, large, open living room, and dining room space. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the guest room has two twin beds, there is a pull out couch, and an inflatable queen mattress.

Walking distance to Soho, Little Italy, China Town, Noho, Nolita, Tribeca ,Greenwich Village, Washington Square Park and much more. Enjoy the amazing historic atmosphere, groovy hole- in –the- wall local hang outs, trendy boutiques and artisan crafts that line the streets of lower Manhattan. Not to mention the colorful night life.

I have lived in this apartment since 1986 and have watched the neighborhood grow into one of the most vibrant and sought after areas. We have had visitors from all over the world, in all age ranges, and we are confident you will love your stay as much as they did.

The entire apartment comes with everything you need: WiFi/internet access, printer, scanner, fax machine. Fresh sheets, towels, and all the kitchen supplies you’ll need. (Including: microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, toaster oven.)

Amazing Experience on The Lower East Side

We had a fantastic stay in this spacious and sun filled loft/apartment. Great beds, great neighborhood and fantastic water pressure in the shower. We were happy to explore the neighborhood and eat at delicious restaurants. This apartment is exactly as advertised. Huge by New York Standards and it has 15 windows. The little patio was great for morning coffee and evening dinners. We used the F train almost everyday. It's right around the corner. We will definitely stay here again.

Convenient and comfortable

Plenty of space for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids). Great place to relax after a long day touring. Close to subway and shopping. There is a Whole Foods right around the corner. This is a second floor apartment above a few bars, there is quite a bit of street noise at night, especially weekends. There is free street parking but lots of competition for spots.

Stay here!!

We just spent a week at this apartment and absolutely loved it! It is very spacious and has everything..and I mean everything...you will need. We are a family of 5 and there was plenty of room for all of us. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning keeps the place cool (it was in the 90's every day during our stay) and the little deck is fun for coffee or evening cocktails. The location is wonderful. Very safe and very close to the subway. Tons of restaurants nearby. Whole Foods is a block away for those times when you want to eat at home. Jackie is very helpful if you need anything or want restaurant suggestions. I would love to stay here again some day. Stop looking at any other apartments, book this one and enjoy your stay!

Great place in New York

We stayed three persons for one week in the appartement. Large, clean and amazingly well equipped in a great location. Close to several Metro lines. Jackie, the owner and the cleaner were all very friendly, available and helped us out with all we needed. Lots of books and brochures gave information on all we needed to know for perfect experiences and a superb stay. The neighbourhood has a large variety of great restaurants: Gentleman Farmer, Katzs deli, Cherche Midi and Pearl and Ashe, to name a few god ones. We would definitely want to stay here if we go back to NYC.

A wonderful place to enjoy New York!

From the planning to the leaving, everything went smoothly. Jackie was available and responded to our many questions promptly, which was great as we were planning from Australia. The apartment was lovely and fitted my husband and I plus two adult children. The double bed and trundle were just fine for boys well over 6 feet tall. We had 6 suitcases and 3 bicycles in boxes and still had a huge amount of space. Jackie met us at the apartment and showed us around. The location was perfect, near the F train subway and Whole Foods a block away was a bonus. The Wifi was fast and reliable and the place was quiet and safe and secure. The myriad of leaflets on restaurants, museums and maps were very helpful and we loved the coffee table books on New York history. We were able to explore New York without a moments worry about our accommodation. We will certainly be staying at Jackie's again!

An absolute gem - highly recommended!

My wife and I and our two boys (aged 5 and 11) spent a week in New York City over the boys' spring break, and I feel so lucky to have found and stayed in this apartment for the whole trip. There was so much about it that we loved - It's spacious - remarkably so, really, for a NYC apartment at such a reasonable price. It's convenient - right in the middle of a pretty amazing part of NYC, close to several subway stations, close to a Whole Foods and surrounded by outstanding coffee, restaurants and bars. It's a real home - tastefully and completely furnished and decorated, and stocked with legitimately usable housewares (i.e., not the crappy towels, sheets, pots and pans etc. you too often have to use when staying in a rental), as well as excellent wifi, a working printer, and (to the delight of my now-poker-playing son) piles of poker chips. It's well managed - we were contacted before, during and after our stay by Jackie, the manager, who met us when we arrived to let us in, give us a tour/rundown and make sure we were all set in the apartment. We never had any problems or questions, but it was nice to know we could text someone nearby if we did. It's beautiful - an immediately put to rest all my questions of "are these online photos a fair depiction of the apartment?" They absolutely are. Recommended without hesitation, and I hope we get to stay there again soon!

Absolutely loved it!

If your looking for a true New York City experience, this is where you will want to stay. I wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment was very clean, beautifully decorated, very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The location was an easy walk to many restaurants and just a short walk to the subway. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect for Our Family

This loft was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. It was very clean and fully stocked with anything and everything we could possibly need. The spacious living area and comfortable, stylish furnishings were something we didn't expect to find in NYC. The beds were very comfortable; the linens were soft and smelled fresh & clean. It rained while we were there, so we didn't get much use out of the terrace, but the one day I did enjoy my coffee out there, I was visited by some cute pigeons. This loft is very quiet - not just from outside noise, but from within the home itself. As soon as we shut the bedroom door, we were oblivious to the kids watching TV, playing cards, etc. The loft provided a very authentic NYC experience for us, and I am so happy we found it. We will definitely book it again next trip! P.S. The property managers and owner were very communicative, so I never felt like I was in the dark about getting there, accessing the property, etc.

Wonderful!

We just finished our wonderful week in this beautiful apartment. We have rented apartments all over the world and this is, hands down one of the most well-equipped and comfortable spaces of all. Jackie was a wonderful host, giving us a tour of the apartment as well as a list of her favorite places for the true foodie. The location in the LES is great - close to the subway, Little Italy, and Chinatown. Too many wonderful restaurants to choose from and all of Manhatten is at your doorstep with the F train just around the corner. Having spent many weekends in Times Square and Midtown hotels we have finally experienced the real New York. We will be back!

Perfect NY apartment and location

We spent a busy week of sightseeing all over NYC. This place was great--conveniently located with all amenities in the neighborhood. We're a family of 4 with 2 teenagers who really enjoyed living like New Yorkers rather than the standard hotel stay. Many of the features of the apartment have been detailed in previous posts and we can confirm the comments and the pictures posted are accurate. Jackie was great, met us in the evening after our late arrival and gave us the tour. She was available 24/7, but the apartment was really turn key and complete with everything we might have needed. The F train subway stop is a block or so away, but we liked to walk & bike and were able to visit many neighborhoods and tourist sites without a taxi or train (although our feet were sore each day). In the immediate neighborhood, we enjoyed Katz's Deli, the Tenement Museum, Prince St. Pizza, and many others---can't forget Whole Foods which is just around the corner. If you're looking for a "real" NYC experience outside of the hotels, recommend highly!

Great Home Away From Home In Manhattan

What a great stay we had in New York. This apartment is comfortable, safe, quiet and has every amenity you could ask for, even an umbrella if it rains. The beds are very comfy, the linens and towels are of high quality and the water pressure in the shower is just the best. The location is perfect for exploring the lower east sides unique streets, but equally as easy for getting about the city with the F train stop just out the door. Whole Foods is just two blocks away and you are minutes away for landmarks like Katz's Deli and Russ and Daughters. The property manager recommended a car service into the city that was excellent and when we arrived, we were immediately greeted and given a tour of the apartment. We printed out boarding passes on the printer wirelessly and the fast wifi kept us online with ease. The apartment offers great closet space and the queen size master and second bedroom with a trundle slept our party comfortably. The couch hide-a-bed could accommodate more quests as well, be we never used it. Each morning we had coffee on the small outdoor deck. After staying in midtown hotels for years, having this cozy apartment in the LES spoiled us for future visits into the city. Highly recommended.

Warm, Inviting, Spacious Apartment on the Lower East Side

This apartment was the perfect choice for my 20's daughter and I as she recuperated from surgery. She lives in NYC, but shares an apartment with two other girls and needed a private and spacious place to stay to recover with my care. It truly was perfect: lots of natural light, a large living/dining area with plenty of comfortable seating in which to spread out, comfortable beds and high class linens. The bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed and looked recently remodeled with quality appliances, faucets/shower and dishes/glassware. Lovely wood floors and colors selected for the decor blended beautifully with the floors and wood furniture. Whole Foods is around the corner and a short block away on E. Houston. In the other direction on E. Houston and a couple of blocks further is Union Market (similar to Whole Foods, but smaller and not as crowded-my personal favorite). Duane Reade (think Walgreens and CVS) is within walking distance as is a number of laundry and dry cleaning services. Countless number of excellent restaurants within walking distance, including Bar Primi and Gemma both on Bowery. Broadway is within walking distance with lots of great shopping. Lots to see and do within walking distance and the subway is nearby--closest station is in front of Whole Foods. Although the unit comes with a small washer and dryer, we were told that laundry takes a long time....over one hour, close to two hours for a small load. I opted instead to take our laundry and cleaning to Fresh Laundry & Cleaners at 173 E. 2nd Street, just up from Duane Reade. Convenient and reasonable. Really is great for a family and a girl's getaway!

Perfect stay in LES, comfortable, quiet, and vey close to the sights and nightlife.

We are a group of 3 friends (35-42 years), who visited NYC for the usual sights, and for various live music events in LES and lower manhattan. We travel quite a lot, and research apartments pretty carefully before booking, online and using old-fashioned paper maps because we're fussy to make the most of a short break. I can honestly say that this apartment is the best of many we have stayed in Europe and The USA since 2006. Here's why; Major benefits of the apartment: Very comfortable furnishings for 3-4 people, with all hi-tech working easily/no fuss, great kitchen of high spec. appliances, shower was powerful and reliable, and... an outside terrace with chairs/table etc. Quiet and relaxing apartment, despite being 5-10 minutes walk (maximum) from hub of LES nightlife, good diners and stores (see below). Secure code entrance in what seemed to us to be a safe area. Friendly and helpful host/meet and greet, who didn't get stressed when we arrived 2 hours later than planned (flight delayed), and was easily contactable by text/email with great tips for where to eat locally. Major benefits to the local area; 5-10 minutes walk to the hub of LES nightlife, e.g. dining, bars, pubs, live music venues. You can stay out until very very late and stroll back safely and easily past diners and coffee shops that are still open and friendly. There is a superb supermarket/store 3-4 minutes walk away on Houston, just around the corner. Hailing a taxi is easy close by, and a subway station is 1 minute walk away. I could go on praising it, but in summary, next time I'm in NYC I'll be planning to stay there again.

Must visit rental in the LES

We spent five glorious nights in the LES. This vacation retreat more than met our every expectation. The apartment is every bit as lovely as it is depicted in the photos on VRBO. It is ideally located in the LES, our favorite area in Manhattan. The apartment is fully equipped with a great deal of attention to everything one would hope for, making it the perfect home away from home. It is amazingly spacious and beautifully appointed. The manager Jackie met us the first day and remained available for anything we might need to inquire about, from the apartment itself, to everything in the neighborhood that we might be interested in. We have been travelling to NYC annually for years and this was by far the best value of any place at which we have stayed. Its a bargain that any traveller who is interested in being in the LES should book as early as you can. I am confident that you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Great LES apt

Great location. Very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Tons of bars and restaurants close by. Whole Foods is three blocks away. Russ & Daughters is around the block, Katz' Deli a couple of blocks away. Close to East Village, Soho, Chinatown, Little Italy. Subway very close. Seen my fair share of cramped NY apts; this place is roomy and very comfortable. Second floor walk up, the front windows are two doors from a bar. Arrived Saturday night and it was in fact loud; but we knew it would be and it wasn't a problem. It was actually more traffic noise/horns than bar noise. The bedroom is in the back and there is a window A/C unit to drown out the noise. The fact is, the other nights were just fine. Really, a very comfortable place. Would definitely return and would recommend to friends and family.

Home Away From Home!

My family of four, including 2 teenage sons, stayed here for 6 nights. I did not want to leave! This apartment exceeded our expectations. I can only hope that I have the opportunity to return some day. It is beautifully decorated and stocked with anything you might need - extra pillows, blankets, towels, kitchen supplies, etc. We were so comfortable and thrilled to have so much space. My husband and I both have a bad back, and the queen bed was great. A great value, and the experience was so far superior to a hotel. As far as the location, we had everything we needed in a few block radius. Whole Foods a couple blocks away, great shopping, eats, subway - it's all right there! I was apprehensive about staying in the LES since I usually stay in mid-town, but this was the best decision we made. I can't say enough about this wonderful apartment, and Jackie was so helpful. She was there when we arrived, got us situated, and checked in with us during the week. You will not regret staying here!

Great Property in Great Location

Our family of 5 stayed in the apartment for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. The apartment itself had so much character and was really spacious compared to some of the other properties we looked at. The location can't be beat, a block away from the subway and right amidst all sorts of cool restaurants, boutiques and shops. We will definitely return!

Exceptional Stay

We are absolutely thrilled with our decision to rent the apartment for a one week stay. The location of the apartment is ideal for quick and easy subway trips or walks to local shops and restaurants (Taqueria Lower East Side at 198 Orchard Street and Clinton Street Baking Company at 4 Clinton St are exceptional). Whole Foods is just around the corner along with a wonderful wine store (try the Brooklyn made Vodka!). Jackie met us upon arrival and kept in touch throughout and after our stay. While the apartment was exactly as described, lovely, sun-filled, quite, extremely well stocked, and wonderfully located---Jackie is the reason to stay here! She is warm, kind and generous, and made our stay all the more enjoyable. I recommend this rental without hesitation. Having rented many times through HomeAway, this was truly our best experience.

Great Family Friendly Apartment!

Our family of four with 2 teenagers thoroughly enjoyed feeling like 'real New Yorkers' while staying at this fantastic apartment! Each of us had our own room for sleeping, a kitchen for meals and even a dining room table to play cards and talk about our day. The water pressure was wonderful and wifi made everyone happy. The location was great as well - once we figured out we were only 2 minutes from the F train, we could be in Times Square in 10-15 minutes in the morning, head down to the 911 Memorial or up to Central Park for some fun. It was very convenient, had great local restaurants and enabled us to get away from the tourist trap feel of uptown. The Whole Foods one block over made it easy to get food/drinks and there's even a local movie theater right around the corner. As our first experience with HomeAway/VRBO, Jackie made us feel very welcome, was open to texting and the neighbors in the building were also helpful. Thank you Jackie - we'll be back!

Excellent property

Dynamite apartment in a dynamite location. Beautiful light streams into the windows in the morning. Very high quality furnishings and nice art. Clean, functional bathroom with excellent shower. Just a few blocks from the F-line subway station, Russ & Daughters, Katz's Deli & Whole Foods. Easy walk to China Town, Little Italy and SoHo. We would highly recommend this place to anyone. There can be some street noise at night - but then hey, it's New York! PS - Try Zoe's right next door for lunch or dinner - great food and very friendly service!

Exactly as described!

We stayed in the apt for 5 days, family of five w boys 14 and 8 and daughter 12. The apt is very comfortable bc of the large living room area that connects w the open kitchen. The windows make it even niver and lively. You can cool down at the apt if when you don't feel like walking or are tyered of too much NYC. The apt is very well equipped and Jackie the manager is handy to help you out w whatever you need (I forgot some pkgs and she was kind enough to mail them back to me, and upon arival she accomodate our early arrival waiting for us w fresh croisants) The owner was also very helpful in closing the agreement and payment. The area is nice and within two bloks it gets even nicer. Definitely recommend it.

Paradise on the Lower East Side

Being sick of paying between four and five hundred dollars a night for hotels in Manhattan, I decided to check out apartments for rent. Being from Los Angeles and accustomed to larger living spaces, I've never been a fan of the tiny rooms available in hotels, but I especially hate how much it costs to stay in those postage-sized places in New York. A friend recommended I try this place and raved about it. When I went online and saw the pictures, the location description, the amenities and price, I admit I was skeptical. It just seemed too good to be true. I'm happy and thrilled to report that after visiting New York probably over 100 times, over the last 25 years, this is by far the best experience I've ever had and I attribute it completely to where I stayed. Literally everything about this magical "apartment" - - I use air quotes as it feels more like a house, than an apartment, it's so spacious, airy and homey - - exceeded my difficult to meet expectations. The furnishings and amenities were all immaculate, functioned perfectly and had directions attached in case you had questions about anything whatsoever. The main room is airy and gorgeous, and the decor - - a mix of Craftsman/Country Cottage - - makes the vibe of the place feel like an Oasis after running around the streets of Manhattan all day and night. This place literally has everything: gourmet style kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 TV sets, huge living room w/piano and full dining room area, wonderful outdoor patio, private master bedroom in a security building. And the TV sets both have DVRS!!! How often do you travel and wish you could watch your favorite shows on tape, but can't, because hotels don't offer that service?! It really makes you feel like home. But here's the difference. I live in a house that's worth over $1M and it isn't as nice as this beautiful apartment. I'm bummed that I'm going home and I LOVE where I live. This property is fun and vital, centered in one of the few truly authentic/artsy areas of New York. It's ridiculously close to WHOLE FOODS (2 blocks away) and the best train line in the city, the F train, which can lead executives and artists to convenient locations from Battery Park to the Upper East Side in a matter of 20 minutes or less, in either direction. The bedroom is quiet as a tomb when you head off to sleep and awake, and the entire apartment feels like it's floating on a cloud, facing a sunny, tree lined street. It's awesome.

My favorite NY apartment!

We absolutely LOVED this apartment! My husband, myself and 2 year old daughter spent 10 days in the apartment and if it hadn't already been booked, we would've extended our stay. It is just as it's described in the posting. Sunny, clean, warm and beautiful. Because we have a small child we knew there would be nights we would have to stay in, so it was important to us that we had some room to move around in. I was glad she posted the size of the apt in square ft. I knew I wasn't getting a small NY apt. The location is AMAZING! The street itself, has 2 bars, a restaurant, a flower shop, an art gallery and a Veterinary Clinic. There is also a play ground just across Houston St with swings and water fountains for kids. You can sip a cafe' latte at the outdoor bistro while your kids play in the park. There is a subway that is 1 block away from the apartment and you can get anywhere in the city from the F Train. The owner was available by phone for any questions and a lovely women met us at the apt and showed us around. There are so many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. But my favorite was Il Bucco. Try the kale salad. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to be in the heart of the action. It reminded me of Trastevere in Rome. You will love it.

FANTASTIC LOFT IN THE PERFECT LOCATION !!

We had a great experience in this apartment. It's a beautiful space. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is stellar. The lower east side is super hip and cool. Lots of coffee shops, bakeries, and gastro pubs. It only took us 20 minutes to get to mid town to see some Broadway shows. We walked all over. Soho, Little Italy, China Town, and Greenwich Village. There are a few bars on the street, so the weekend nights were a bit noisy, but we liked that vibe. We turned the fan on in the bedroom and couldn't hear anything. One of my favorite things about the apartment was the water pressure. Taking a shower was fantastic!!!! The owner was extremely nice and helpful. This apartment was great. Our security deposit was returned to us when we left the apartment. In a nutshell, we LOVED the apt. Extremely clean, very charming, big open space, sunny and homey and flooded with sunshine!!. Lively and vivacious neighborhood . We are set on staying there the next time we visit NY. Oh.. can't forget to mention It's near great shopping, restaurants, and close to the subway,so super easy to get around the city!! We'll be back !! Can't wait !!

I have lived in this apartment since 1987. I went to New York University to get my masters degree and rented this big, open sunny loft with two friends. When I became a professional I eventually bought the apartment and renovated it. My work has brought me to Los Angeles where I spend most of my time. However, every time I go back to NY, I fall in love with my neighborhood and my apartment and want to stay. In the past, I've rented my place for a year or more, but I've decided to rent my apartment for shorter term rentals instead, so my family can come to NY on a more regular basis.

Why they chose this property

I have put so much love and artistry into my apartment. The original art, pottery and sculptures give it a warm and comfortable atmosphere. It is a beautiful, happy, wonderful place to rest your weary head while exploring the city. You can cook, entertain, hang out and relax and not feel cramped or clostrophobic. The windows and patio give it a warm and open feeling.

You are close to every train/bus that you will need to get anywhere in the city. You can hail a taxi from the corner.

Come and have a great experience in NYC.
