This is a fabulous family Vacation location conveniently located near Camden/Lugoff and Columbia, SC. Great Neighborhood and perfect for swimming, boating & fishing.

Lovely sloping lot with wonderful view of Lake Wateree. Great dock with gazebo & deep water for boats. Boat landing only 3 miles away at Colonel Creek landing. Also located at Colonel Creek is The Retreat for a delicious meal after a day on the lake. For those items you forgot at home, visit the market also located at Colonel Creek. They have plenty of gas & groceries.

Watch your favorite shows on Netflix, Prime etc on the 65" Flat Screen Smart TV.

Summer Fun

The location of this property is perfect. The cove is quiet and has a nice area for swimming. The fishing was also very good. The house was very clean and updated. Would definitely stay again.

Great Lakefront Vacation

Wonderful Home

This is one of the best properties we have rented. It was very clean and on a beautiful lot with a great view of the lake. Had a wonderful time fishing off the dock.

Idyllic!

So clean, peaceful, and quiet neighborhood! Lovely host who I got to know as super hard working and caring about her property! We needed a break from work and school stress and being able to know we could sleep soundly at night was very nice.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay on Lake Wateree. The house and location were perfect! We loved using the dock throughout the day and the porch in the mornings and evenings. Thanks to Rose for being such a great host!

Wonderful lake house! Excellent host! Relaxing weekend!

My wife and I were just married, and we spent our honeymoon here.. The lake house was exactly as described, and Rose was amazing! This is definitely not your typical lake house that you rent to go party, so if you are looking for that type of environment, keep looking.. This home is surrounded by a quiet community, and surrounded by great neighbors. I had the pleasure of meeting them both during our stay. It was exactly what my wife and I were looking for, and we cannot wait yo stay here again! Rose, thank you so very much, for opening up your home to us! We absolutely loved it there!

In spite of storms, rain and flooding we caught many fish with our adult sons and all had an enjoyable time. Cabin was well equipped and beds were comfortable. Everything went smooth and our Host, Rose was a delight to work with. Hope to stay again next spring. The Millers

Family get away

The home was extremely clean and we had plenty of room for our group. We thoroughly enjoyed the view from the back porch and spent mornings with coffee there. The yard was a good play area for the children and the Partially covered dock provided some relief from the sun. Good water access. We had a wonderful time with our family at this home.

Exactly what we we looking for-peaceful !

My husband and I totally enjoyed our respite at this location on the water. Beautiful setting on Lake Wateree and we will definitely be back. Met Rose, the owner when she graciously made a trip to show us how to operate the coffee maker. She was responsive, caring, welcoming and knowledgeable. Thanks so much for everything.

Long weekend getaway!

Our small group of 5 enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The location on the lake was excellent. Wonderful fishing and swimming off the dock. House was very clean and roomy. We hope to return in the near future. Thank you for sharing your lake home with us.

Not what was expected.

Super outdated property. Very musty when we arrived. Grass was almost a foot tall when we arrived. Oh and make sure to bring all of your own linens, towels, etc or pay extra 75. Never rented a house where these items were not provided. Location was nice as long as u dont want to fish off of the dock. My guess is they have been throwing old trees in water off of deck bc every sinlge line we threw out for catfish either brought back part of a tree or got hung up. Only thing we managed to catch was a bunch of turtles. Never seen so many turtles in wateree before. Very disappointing. Host refused to return deposit bc a bag of trash was left and cig butts (which were there when we got there. No one in are party was a smoker) We left this property far cleaner than it was when we arrived. Less the single bag of trash we honestly forgot.

This was our second trip to the property and we enjoyed both stays. The owner is extremely nice and even offered some assistance when we had boat problems during our stay. We always feel at home here.

I am local to this area and have always had a home on Lake Wateree. My entire family and all of our children have enjoyed this lake for 40+ years. It is a 'hidden treasure' in SC, as most other lakes are overcrowded. There are endless activities with in a close proximity, other than water-related ones.

Why they chose this property

Wonderful neighborhood, great fishing, skiing and local marina's. Best of all, Quiet and relaxing! the mornings are wonderful to sit on porch with coffee or tea and listen to the singing of birds and wildlife.
