Lovely apartment right in the old town - 2 mins to the market. Really well equipped and having A/C is every room is great in the summer. Everything as advertised and in great condition. Just mind your head in the kitchen if you’re tall - as per the pics
We loved the location. Convenient to market, beaches, bakery, restaurants and transportation.
We were a family of 5 and had a comfortable stay. We will use this flat for our next visit to Antibes.
The apartment, in one of the pretty narrow streets of old Antibes, was clean, spacious and full of character. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. It was lovely being only a minute’s walk from the old walls and the far reaching views out to sea as well as very near to the marche Provençal and all of the lovely outdoor restaurants and bars. However, it was far enough away so as not to have any noise disturbance. The air con in each room worked very well in the heatwave.
Antibes is a fantastic place. Property is in an excellent location, walking distance to beaches, shops, market and restaurants. Flew into Nice and got the 82 bus to Pole d'Echanges which is 15 min walk from the property.
It was very clean and we were able to get into the property early, which was great. The descriptions were accurate - it's in an old building and there are quite a lot of stairs, which wasn't a problem for us. The air con worked well and sitting on the roof terrace with a coffee in the morning or cold glass of Rose in the evening was lovely.
My only complaint is that we had to come home.
We stayed at this apartment for 4 months and loved it. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and comfortable beds , 2 bathrooms with very nice showers and plenty of hot water. Large dining room table with 6 chairs and a nice kitchen but a low ceiling so if you’re tall, watch your head. Balcony has nice view of the Med just a block over. Location can’t be beat!! Le Marche Provençal is just up the street 2 mins and restaurants and shops abound!!! Good windows keep noise out and the heating. Kept us very comfortable all winter. We actually turned it lower as we got a bit warm! Antibes is a magical place, many things to do or just wander and have a cafe and croissant. People couldn’t have been kinder and Miriam is an excellent host.
Beautiful old- style apartment. Rustic, yet clean and modern. In a quiet neighborhood. Perfect location within walking distance to open air market, beach, restaurants and family-friendly European night life. Must be able to walk up and down stairs.
Exceeded our expectations! It's a great location in old town with easy walk to the beaches, museum and restaurants. But just far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise of the nightlife. The rooftop patio was perfect for hanging out. Will def look to stay here again next time we are in Antibes.
The apartment was exactly as represented in the photos. It was in a nice neighborhood within the old town of Antibes. It was a minute walk to the daily marketplace and close to restaurants and shopping. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable and the double glazed windows effectively shut out noise, of which there was very little. We had a wonderful time in Antibes and enjoyed the terrace every day. We spent a week exploring Antibes many historic and cultural sites. We also enjoyed our visits to L’Empereur wine shop where the employees helped us pick some wonderful local wines.
Great location, property fab, everything on your doorstep, mar a duirt mé ar dtus, iontach!

About the host

I am from Ireland and I love the old town, as it is very relaxing and you have easy access to lots of facilities including the beach, restaurants, Picasso museum and lovely walks. My favourite is the walk to Garoupe which takes about 40 minutes and is lovely for lunch (Le Rocher but you need to book). There is also a coastal walk at the end of the beach which has spectacular views.
I love to host guests as it helps to have people in situ and contributes to the high cost of maintenace of a large apartment in the old town.
Why they chose this property
I love the atmosphere in the old town from the ringing of the church bells to the peace and quiet of the area. They close the roads now in peak season so this adds a lot to the atmosphere. They have also developed a lovely walking area on the front which used to be a busy road years ago. The train is 15 minutes walk away and you can go to Cannes, Nice, Ventimiglia, Menton and lots of different towns along the coast for lunch. Eze and Vance are accessible by train and then a bus.
What makes this property unique
The property has 3 separate bedrooms with 2 bathrooms which is very unusual in the old town. The bedrooms are located on the second floor which keeps them nice and cool. The terrace is a lovely area to sit and read or have a glass of rose and we love to get rolls etc and have breakfast there. We work very hard to maintain the property in good working order and the rental income helps with this. The common area including the stairs is run by a Syndic but it is hard to get work done on those areas by the Syndic. It is illegal for us to do it ourselves !!! However we do try !
