This property is located convenient to Bryce, Zion and Escalante National Parks. In addition, we watched Mule Deer and Turkeys roam around the property. The dirt roads were well maintained and easily driven. The house was well stocked and very clean.
We loved all the space, privacy, and views. Great place to stay to check out Bryce, Zion, Red Canyon, and Dixie national Forest. Really enjoyed having fire (we had to be careful not to use the cooking vent or it would pull smoke into the house) It’s not fancy, but comfortable and clean with lots of room. Video directions were easy to follow. We enjoyed our stay!
We loved the night sky viewing and the beautiful location. We had a flat tire on our trip from Vegas so did not get to the house till after dark so glad I had watched the video of the directions as it was very dark and hard to navigate. Smaller cars without a high clearance may not make it!
This house had everything we needed to relax and rejuvenate after a day of sight seeing and hiking. We were able to cook meals and enjoy breakfast and dinner around the dining room table and watch a movie or read in the living room. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The cows in the nearby field were a bonus attraction!
Fabulous location and very private. Very well equipped and plenty of room. Highly recommend for a peaceful retreat in the countryside. Directions were excellent with a helpful video. Thank you, Bill
The hosue was very clean, directions were very clear and easy to follow, the town has a few nice places to eat, and the drive to both Bryce canyon and Zion is very easy.
This is the second time we have stayed here and we just love this house. It has plenty of space for adults and kids. There are two bathrooms with lots of extra towels for the fantastic tubs and a fully stocked kitchen with cookware and spices. It's a lovely home and we will be back again for sure. The views can't be beat such a great property! Thank you for having us again we look forward to coming back in the future.
Had a wonderful time at this remote stay. Enjoyed the quiet and beautiful setting. The home was well equiped and comfortable. Getting to the location was part of the great memory. Visiting with the owners uncle who lives a quarter mile away was an added boost to the stay. His stories of the area and his lifetime was a real bonus.
We were in Utah to visit the national parks. This home was a great place to be a base for visiting Bryce Canyon, Zion and several state parks and monuments. The home itself was very roomy and very clean. Little things like comfortable beds and nice towels made our stay feel luxurious. There was plenty of seating for a much larger group to gather and two dining areas. It had a very nice kitchen with modern appliances. They also had a modern washer and dryer that we used since we were mid-way in our trip. We had a couple with a motor home and they had hookups for them, also! I would highly recommend this home for its comfort, cleanliness and it’s peaceful, natural setting.
This turned out perfect for us. Within five minutes of showing up and walking out into the backyard, I saw mule deer coming out to feed around the pond. I several does, younger bucks, and two mature bucks. Of course we saw the rabbits who must hang out in the backyard too. The house is very spacious, and the bed in the master BR is a master piece of old pine- a very special piece. The house is well stocked with everything you need. We loved the solitude. Awesome stay! Would love to come back and stay longer next time!
we enjoyed being off the main road. i would gladly stay here again. the only issue was finding the house once we entered the side roads. we talk with Bill ( the owner) and was able to locate the house. the ytube video should be updated, its was easy to access once we made the right turn off.
Four of us adults stayed a week in this clean home in an isolated setting. Very quiet. Nice deck that looked out at red cliffs in the distance. Very spacious home which allowed everyon enough space. Only issues were the beds which were way too soft and elevated. Understand people have different tastes in bed firmness but these were not very comfortable and their height made it difficult to sit on side of bed. Also showers had very low water pressure. BEWARE-King size bed is not in master bedroom with en suite bath. This was not indicated on website. All in all however, we had an enjoyable stay.
This place is awesome. It is secluded and very peaceful with great views of the mountains. It was very well stocked with everything we needed. The video helped find the house easily. All the beds were comfortable. A great place to gather with family. The location worked well for us as we travelled to Zion and Bryce Canyon. We would definitely stay here again.
The house was immaculate. We enjoyed exploring around the house on the numerous roads nearby.
Good location midway between Zion and Bryce National Parks. Also great day trip to North Rim Grand Canyon.
We had a great stay at the house in Hatch. It is a little bit off the path but enough to be super quiet and isolated but not creepy at all. I enjoyed that the house is surrounded by cow pastures and they will come close to house at times. Morning walks are great by the pond, see the bald eagle and numerous bunnies which I think are tame. Air conditioning is great when it gets a bit warm but everything is comfy. There is virtually no noise other than the cows out there. I loved it and will be back. Make sure and watch the video, you will need it for the first time but after that it is super easy to get to the house.
It was a very clean, nice home. Very comfortable and welcoming. Plenty of space for all of us. The beds were very cozy and comfortable. The property has a great view of the mountains.
The comfortable house was in a beautiful location. Lots of opportunities to view wildlife and take long walks. We regularly enjoyed watching turkeys, chipmunks, and western bluebirds just to name a few. The house had 2 large dining tables that were perfect for games in the evening. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay at Bill's house.
Such a lovely place to stay. Our group was there for only two nights but it was clean and comfortable. Owner communicated really well, especially about a scheduled power outage by the electric company. Hoping to return later this year for another adventure to Bryce Canyon.

My wife and I and five girls really have enjoyed this home as it was a place that I grew up on and our girls have had the same opportunity to do so as well. They are outdoor enthusiasts and love spending time there. We currently live in Lindon Utah and try to get down to there as often as occasion will permit. We decided that since we can't be down there more often that we would open this home for others to enjoy and hope that your experience is one that you will never forget.
Why they chose this property
This is a family home that my father built but unfortunately lost his battle to cancer before he was able to really enjoy it. Our family grew up on the land that this home sits on where formally there was an old deer hunters cabin that we built once stood. There have been many fond memories growing up here and we really enjoy how relaxing it is to come and stay and at the same time there are plenty of things to do. There is Hunting, fishing, ATV riding, hiking and seeing the sights such as Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks.
What makes this property unique
There is the national parks to visit, ATV & UTV trails to ride right from the home. There are unlimited trails on and off the property to see. Get a part of Bryce but not in the park. Fishing in our local ponds and at the river. All kinds of wildlife to enjoy such as deer, elk and turkeys. It is away from the hustle and very peaceful and relaxing. The views are amazing including the pink cliffs to the east.
