Great Cabin for Families

This was the most well equipped rental we have ever stayed in and we've stayed in plenty. The location is quiet and peaceful but still not too far to drive to town. There were so many nice touches from bathroom, kitchen spices and even coffee supplied. There was plenty of room to spread out for adults and kids. The king bedroom on the main floor worked out well for my husband and I by limiting stairs. The grandkids loved having the upstairs while parents stayed downstairs with their own kitchenette. The fire pit area was so nice. The kitchen had everything you'd need to make any meal. We used the hot tub everyday but needs some stepping stones to it from patio. The younger kids loved the swing set. We all enjoyed the pool table. I was afraid we'd miss being on the water but we had so much to do at the cabin we didn't miss it at all. This is my new favorite place to stay in this area.

Grand cabin stay

The cabin was perfect! VERY WELL stocked with everything you could imagine!! The owner was even kind enough to supply us with a 2nd pack-n-play as we had 2 infants with us!! I would highly recommend staying here! Clean and comfy and homey! Tons of space for our large family!

A magical experience for my family!!!

An excellent place to share with the family. I can't wait to come back again and enjoy more of what this property has to offer, especially for a large family group. Spacious rooms, comfortable and clean bathrooms. The living room, kitchen and play areas are well equipped and ideal for sharing quality time. The mountain view is to hallucinate while enjoying a pleasant climate and beautiful vegetation. Overall, there is nothing I can complain about.

This is a perfect cabin for those wishing to vacation with family and friends. Almost everything you need is on-site, or available within a short drive to Elijay. The property was very well-kept, clean, and described accurately in the listing. I will definitely plan on returning for my next trip to Elijay!

Beautiful, but hard nights sleep

property was beautiful, clean but not bright. Light bulbs were dim and hard to see in primary bedroom. Light in walk in closet was great. Bed was not comfortable, especially the bed pillows, very hard and old.

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin was the perfect place for our family to stay in. It is not only beautiful but, very spacious. Had everything we needed. The view was spectacular. Loved the decorations, the bench swings around the fire pit. We highly recommend this cabin!

Fabulous cabin

The cabin was well-stocked and offered more than the bare minimums like most cabins. It was clean with very comfortable beds, the fire pit has wooden porch swings around it which made for relaxing evenings. The cabin does not have a Keurig so bring your own if you love a certain K cup flavor, I would also advise extra blankets, some bedrooms are colder than others. We loved the wrap around porch, saw several deer and enjoyed how private the location was. The hot tub was unfortunately out of order but in spite of that one negative, I highly recommend this cabin!

Super Easy Check In. Loved we could bring our dogs! Lots of things to do with the family! ❤️the swing sets! Could have used a pizza pan though. But improvised. Check out instructions were clear. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us! Highly recommend!

wonderful stay

We so enjoyed our stay at the Ellijay cabin. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed from hand soaps to dish soap, dishwashing machine liquid and clothes washing machine liquid, towels and even some coffee filters. We will definitely refer our friends who have large families to stay at your cabin. And when my large family comes back to Ellijay, we will stay at the cabin again.

Beautiful, cozy, and peaceful!

I was staying at the cabin for my son's wedding weekend and found the home to be perfect for what I needed. I wish I had been able to spend more time in it but the wedding activities had me pretty busy. Thank you for opening and trusting your home to me. It made my weekend that much more enjoyable!

Good for a short weekend

Just returned from our stay and we really enjoyed the area! We have two issues with the sink and television and the host Jesse came right over each time! Very friendly guy. Now on to the key points: Good for quick weekend, not long stays. Very nice washer and dryers! The cabin is starting to look a little outdated and needs a little sprucing up. A few upgrades would make a major difference. The “cabin bear theme” is ancient. There are many other cabins in the area and this one doesn’t necessarily compete but it has the potential too. There is NOT an air hockey table as advertised in the photos, so listing needs to be updated. There is a foosbalI table there instead. I was disappointed to find this out upon arrival, because that was one of my main reasons for booking since my 5 year old loves air hockey. Had I known this, I would’ve have booked this particular cabin. There is a pool table as advertised. The kitchen needs a brand new cook ware set. Invest in one. We didn’t have the best options to cook with although there were several cooking utensils. The stove is not the best. It’s also very small. Even on its highest setting, it takes a while for things to get boiling. Because of this we ended up using the stove more. Bluetooth speaker died first night. Make cords and other things easily accessible. Check out instructions were in an odd place, on the laundry room wall in small font. If it had not been for my sister spotting it, we would’ve missed it.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

Absolutely loved staying in the cabin. It was conveniently located near Summit Farm where my sister was getting married. Roomy and comfy and well stocked with anything you may need. Unfortunately for us, it did rain for 3 of our 4 days that we were there so we weren't able to fully enjoy some of the amenities offered, like the beautiful fire-pit area or even just sitting on the middle or lower deck areas. But, it is located near quite a few "apple places" so if you love apple anything, this would be a great location to stay as there is a cider house, orchards, and bakery/shops within 5 minutes from the house. You're also only about 20 or so minutes from historic downtown Ellijay with shopping and restaurants in and around town. Would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you're just looking to get away for a few days. As an added bonus, the cabin is also in a gated community, which we also loved. We are already trying to plan a return trip!

We had a wonderful time!! The cabin is so beautiful!!! We were so surprised to get there and find a Christmas tree in the great room!!! I would definitely recommend this cabin and I look forward to staying there again!!!!

Fabulous property

This property was one of the best, if not the best. The house had all accomodations you could need. Pots, pans, dishes, small appliances, new large appliances, wood burning fireplace, laundry room with new washer and dryer as well as all the laundry detergent and cleaning items. We have never seen this. The fire pit area was wonderful with swings and chairs. Chairs on all the decks, a gas grill was available as well. We were a group of (5) 71 yr old ladies and we absolutely loved it. We have told many about this property and will consider Ellijay and this property for future trips.

Fantastic property

We were a group of (5) 71 yr old women for an annual getaway. We were awed at the property. It was everything advertised and more. The kitchen was stocked with every pot and pan and small appliance you could ever need. The large appliances were beautiful. The laundry room was stocked with detergent and softener with new washer and dryer. The rooms were spacious, the beds extremely comfortable, the sheets were soft and inviting. The lower level was an apartment all by itself with kitchen, etc. The fire pit area was relaxing with swings and chairs. We didn't want to leave. I would recommend this property to anyone. The only complaints were that there were no handrails in the bathrooms to assist senior citizens and there was not a place for soap/shampoo in the lower shower.
