My two teenage sons and I stayed at the cabin during our annual Christmas Break ski/snowboard trip. The cabin is even cuter than the photos. The kitchen is well stocked, the décor is cozy and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
The back of the cabin has slowing glass doors and a large picture window that is perfect for viewing the deers who come to visit. As a surprise bonus, the owner provides deer corn to toss out the back to entice the deer to visit. Such a thoughtful idea and we were happy to purchase a new bag of corn to replace the corn we used. We will certainly book another stay at this comfy, cozy cabin!
Loved the interaction with the deer. My husband actually got to let on. We saw a small bear and a fox. Very quiet. Took us a couple of days to figure out the tv controllers. Would be helpful if there was some kind of instructions for them. The tv in the lower bedroom was not working. Also we were not aware we were going to be in a gated community. Was a hassle going to the gate every time we went out. We had to wait in a line of cars to get back in. Really did enjoy our stay otherwise.
This was a perfect spot for us to meet up with some friends for the weekend! Pictures were accurate and it was a very quiet neighborhood. My daughter loved watching and feeding the deer.
great visit for my dog & me. I've never had to mess with the breaker box for a VRBO check-in before, so that was new. I also struggled with finding live TV, but there were plenty of apps to use so it wasn't an issue. the cabin did have a pretty musty smell, so I'm unsure if it had been closed up for a while. overall, it was just what we needed to recover from a 31-mile race.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming chalet. It was just the right size for 3 adults and a child. The neighborhood was so peaceful and pretty. The view of all the deer off the back deck was amazing. We were able to feed them corn, apples and carrots by hand. Our day trips included mauchunk Lake and Hickory Run State Park, both places absolutely gorgeous.
Quiet safe area, where many deet come up to the rear deck. Wife had one eating from her hand. House larger than expected, and owner lhad many games and informative pamphlets available.
It was a very nice cabin and had everything needed to have a good time.

Oh Deer💕
The start of our Annual Getaway was miserable due to icy weather and we thought we were lost because there is no mention of the house being located in Indian Lake community. There was a long line to get in because something was going on with the gates. We were very happy once we were able to get to the house and get out of the car! The house was just what we were looking for - comfortable, cozy and clean. There were a bunch of beautiful deer in the back yard most of the weekend that kept us entertained and busy feeding them. There was several times where we had 14 deer, 1 turkey, squirrels and 2 cats lol. Like I said, the weather was frigid and we are a little older so we spent most of the time in the house enjoying the wood stove and lots of laughs. We would book here again! Thank you
It rained most of the time but we enjoyed our trip the best we could. Hiked nearby trails, fed the deer - by hand! Enjoyed our last day at the lake. Kids really loved the cabin-feel and nature all around us.
We love this rental so much, going to rent it again next year. Loved feeding the deer. The cabin was excellent, very good instructions on opening and closing, very pretty, and comfortable. We would love to thank the owners for a perfect vacation. We will be back.
