We are 1.5 miles from IHOPKC and 10-20 minutes from Popular Restaurants, Plaza Shopping, Downtown Kansas City, The Stadium, Overland Park, and more!

The home has all new furnishings, linens and mattresses. There are 3 queen beds in each of the upstairs bedrooms, and 2 twin size daybeds in the basement den. Netflix is provided on each of the 3 TV's in the home.

Cozy home in a nice area

The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The location was out of the way, which was nice. My only complaint is that the remote for the ceiling fan in the master bedroom had no battery so I couldn't turn it on. Also, the lamps in the master bedroom didn't have working knobs to turn them on. Very small and insignificant complaints compared to how nice our stay was.

Not recommended

I do not recommend using any of the properties owned by the Hartley property group in KCMO. The property had not been cleaned when we got there and my guests had to go elsewhere for the first night. Did not get confirmation that it would be cleaned and available until noon of the second day of the reservation. In attempting to ask for an increased discount from what I was given I was accused of being rude which I never felt like I came anywhere near being rude. I had also given my number so they could call if they needed to have further discussion. I would never have left a bad review if they said no. I absolutely do not deserve to be called rude in an email for asking for a greater than seven percent discount on the nightly rate after all the confusion and stress (on a property that I had booked and paid for in March.) They also gave us the master code which we found out during the whole check in process . Their locks were offline and they wanted to insure we had entrance but that seems like a HUGE security risk to me.

Poor Communication

We attempted to contact the property manager through the message app on this site. She never responded. We finally phoned her to make contact. The place was not exactly clean—we could live with that. A guest left a substantial amount of cash in her room. The property manager answered one message. The guest’s husband remembered exactly where he had left it. I tried multiple times to contact the property manager, but she never responded after the initial response. We saw this as highly unprofessional and would not recommend this house.

Girls Weekend

The Yellow House

The house was clean and exactly as described on Vrbo. It provided space for privacy as well as family coming together. The house was within approximately 10 mins. from the main events the family was attending. The property manager provided information about nearby attractions. The property manager also responded quickly to my questions on line and after arrival. This was greatly appreciated. We also saved quite a bit of money by using the property. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property for rental.

Great House, Well Furnished, Quiet Neighborhood

We very much enjoyed our stay, the house is furnished very nice and I very much enjoyed the verses hung throughout the house. It was perfect for our KC trip. Only suggestion I would make is to hang a mirror along the wall of the master bedroom, so one could use the outlets there to blow dry and fix their hair as the 1/2 bath doesn't have adequate plug-ins. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

The house was cozy and perfect for our family!

The house was roomy for our family! The only downfall was only one shower but we rotated turns and was plenty of hot water ( I didn’t notice this when I booked). The back yard was nice to sit out and relax. The house has plenty of beds and space. Neighborhood was nice and close to shopping and restaurants! No complaints I would rent it again
