With 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths, this home is perfect for 6-8 guests! This home is a wonderful location, close to I-65 and Rte 30. You can quickly get to any where in NW Indiana. This home is the perfect place to stay whether you are wanting a quiet weekend, or you are visiting family. We care for our guests and we've created a place that you will enjoy and want to come back again!

Remodeled and updated, our place offers all of the comforts of home! This house also has a spacious back yard and open deck in the back. The convenience of in-house laundry, a coffee maker, and Comcast cable and high speed internet are also provided!

This listing includes access to the entire home, with the exception of the owner's closet and the basement . The driveway is also available to guests and can easily handle up to 4 vehicles. Our home can sleep 6-8 Adults. Rooms are set up as follows: Bedroom on main floor has 1bunk bed with a full over a twin and a full bed by itself. 2 Bedrooms upstairs each have a queen bed. In addition to having access to the entire home and driveway, guests will also have access the back deck.

We are located near Route 30 and I-65 is less than a mile away. This is a great location that is close by all the necessities and many extra activities! You could keep yourself busy with just shops and recreation within 2 miles of our home. The Southlake mall, Walmart, Target, Lowe's, Home Depot, Sams Club, Costco, Deep River Water Park, Showplace Theater, are all close by this home. The County Line Orchard is also within two miles.

Exactly what we needed

Everything was perfect! For starters, the location was ideal to see family & friends we had to hit throughout the region. The house itself was so cozy, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. It truly did feel like home away from home. The back yard is huge and fenced in which was also very nice. Would definitely stay here again if possible.

Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful experience! The location was great, close to a lot of restaurants and shopping, and was less than 30 minutes from Indiana Dunes National Park. The house was clean and cozy, and nicely decorated. It felt like a home away from home!

Great House!

This house was such a good fit for my family and our pet! It was in a great location. Close to grocery stores, shopping and within 30minutes of everything we wanted to do. It was super clean and felt like home.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house is decorated beautifully and it was very comfortable for my brother and his kids, and our little family. The owners were very welcoming and, it was only a 45 min drive to the dunes and lake. We would definitely stay here again. :)

Had a family emergency and booked pretty quickly. I’m glad I did. Very clean and comfortable. The host were wonderful with accommodating our unfortunate moving schedule. We will definitely stay again soon.

It is a beautiful house and close to everything.

The house is full of character and was very clean. We enjoyed the close proximity to shopping and restaurants and I65, but you could sit on the back deck and feel like you were in the country. Owners were very responsive and friendly. Note that there are stairs to reach the only bathtub and no washer and dryer available.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with good access to anything you might need. The air conditioning and fans cooled the house completely. We are from the west coast so we are not used to humidity. Many thanks to the property manager for great communication and instructions.

Hobart / Merriville home

I loved that it was near everything you could think of from restaurants to shopping centers! It was close to the highway and the neighborhood was awesome (right next to the fire station) and quite. Huge backyard and it’s fenced in the deck (where I spent my time working) was perfect for morning coffee and work. The host Tom and Becky were easy to contact and responded right away! Thank you

Nice house, noisy road

The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It is however located on a busy street and next to a fire station. There weren’t any emergency calls, but the road noise is something we were not used to so we didn’t sleep well. It is easy to find and near stores so it was convenient that way.

Convenient location, cute home with comforts of home.

We adopted a newborn baby and were required to stay in Indiana for a period of time. This house met our families needs and was less expensive to stay here vs. a hotel suite. Kitchen is full equipped with new essentials and home was very clean. Owners were very accessible. I would give it 5 stars but the washer and dryer had not arrived prior to our stay (critical with a newborn and preschooler) but the owners were more than accommodating in helping us out, so that turned out to be a minor issue and I didn't need to do laundry (bonus!). I would highly recommend this home to anyone who may be visiting family for an extended period of time and want their own space or a family who may have a unique need such as a domestic adoption. We considered staying in Miller beach but that is so far out of the way and that area offers very few amenities if you need to make a quick run to the store. Everything you could need is just minutes from this Hobart house.

Close to town

This place was as pictured. I do wish there were some chairs and perhaps a table on the deck outside. There’s a huge backyard but nowhere to sit and enjoy it. The beds weren’t very comfortable but the kids loved the large room and the toys were a plus. It is directly next to a firehouse so we did get a wake up call or two, but it wasn’t a huge issue. Everything was clean. The kitchen had everything needed with the exception of a few pot holders but we made do. Very close to shopping but on a busy street. Cozy home.

Pleasant home

This home was a great fit for our family of 5. The owners were very responsive to our messages, typically responding within a few minutes. The home was clean and had a warm feel to it. The location enabled us to navigate easily to the places that we want to see.

Cute home

House was cute! It suited our needs. We visited for a family reunion so this home was located near most of our family! The large bedroom on the main living area was great for my family to sleep and the boys enjoyed the bunk beds! This was better than a hotel especially with toddlers and a baby!

Nice Place!!!

This was a last minute choice for a getaway, it was the wife's bday. She just wanted to get out the house and chill for her bday. Considering that we couldn't travel where we wanted to, due to the pandemic, this was surprisingly a cool pick. The house was a nice, quaint, and more spacious than expected. Everything you need is in the house. Only a few negatives/issues with this location. There was more than normal outside bugs, spiders, lady bugs, beetles, etc. Being that its close to so much greenery I expect bugs but... It is very dark in the evening and the back porch lights weren't working. And also the side door doesn't lock, and even tho its in a nice neighborhood, me being a city person, I didn't like having a unsecured door. But with that being said I would definitely book again and recommend this location. Good neighborhood and close to everything!!!

A perfect place for a weekend getaway!

This adorable house was the perfect size for our weekend getaway to the dunes! It was close to stores and an easy drive to get to the dunes. Tom and Becky were very quick to respond to questions and to drop off supplies when things ran out. The house was clean and comfortable. The huge fenced in yard was an added bonus for our dogs! Overall, a great stay and we would definitely recommend it!

Bugs

The home was nice. Great location. Had everything we needed. However the home has old windows and many of them are not able to close properly. Our rental was full of flying bugs. They were everywhere. Each night i had to go around and try to kill as many as I could so my family could sleep. This home also has a leaky roof. It it is to be a great rental it needs some updating.

Great Visit!
