When you arrive to the Villa, you go through a very quiet cul de sac and a short drive through it on your left side you will find a lovely green gate. You will be given a remote control for your comfort. Once you enter, you will see a long driveway with beautiful Cherry trees, rhododendrons and azaleas. Then, on your right you find the main entrance that invites you to a classic european foyer and a living-room with a view of the Puget Sound, Kingston and Whidbey Island. On your right side you'll see the hallway that bring you to your very private area and bedroom.

The Villa is just 4 minutes drive downhill to the beach and Ferry dock and all charming Edmonds restaurants and coffee shops.

The room is cozy and charming and very comfortable with walls painted in a soft blue and white, a mix of modern still elegant style. From the room you have a short hallway that bring you to the private full bathroom.

The room features a flat-screen TV a comfortable queen bed, a dresser, lamps and has a view of the front garden that has wonderful bushes and trees. The house have a living-room and a reading room for your convenience. Views of the sea, mountains or lake are featured in and, a fantastic deck to relax and enjoy a cocktail in the evening.

There is a shared kitchen at the property with all imaginable tools to be a great chef.

Seattle is 14 miles from Villa Rivarola, and Port Townsend is 28 miles away. The nearest airport is Sea-Tac Airport, 25 miles from Villa Rivarola.

Quiet neighborhood near Seattle & beach
In town for my BFs card game tournament, this was the perfect location for me to hang back and do homework. We had a private room and bathroom, and shared the kitchen area with the home owners. Nice cozy room, and lots of parking in their large driveway

The property was amazing! Beautiful view of Puget Sound. We had a bedroom on the upper level and basically the entire upstairs to ourselves. The house is eclectically and tastefully decorated. The neighborhood is lovely and very quiet. On Saturday we went to downtown Edmonds for the arts and farmer’s market. We found some great lavender and flower bouquets. Evenings on the deck were perfect for wine and photos. Pedro and Sophia were so gracious we didn’t want to leave! I highly recommend their property.

Great property, location and pricing. Best ever bed too! Got our well deserved sleep. Only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the area and conversation. Only hiccup was communication regarding check in process. Owner did reply when I messaged about late check-in and inquiring about the property. But I did not receive any communication regarding check in process (regarding gate access entering and exiting). I had stayed at other properties and most would email instructions. I checked the chat and my email and can’t find anything… Other than that, Pedro was very accommodating, welcoming and had a great conversation with my partner even though I had to call to get access and it was a little late. Would definitely book again when we pass through.

Nate a I really appreciate Pedro & Sophie's generosity and hospitality in welcoming us into their home. The location and neighborhood is absolutely fantastic. Their home is very beautiful and has great energy. If you enjoy small-town charm w/ hosts who go above and beyond for their guests, then this is the place for you. Lol! Glorified hostel?
This property was not private. It is a locked room in a house with many other occupants. I kept thinking I was meeting the owner, but it was seemingly just other people that used the same entrance that lived in the basement. I liked the owner, but we didn’t spend anytime at the house other than sleeping. Too much uncertainty of all the comings and goings.

Beautiful Property and Safe
Pedro opened up his home to me when really there aren’t a lot of places in Edmonds. For that I am so very grateful. He has a delightful personality as a host, a great sense of humor, and it’s very helpful and accommodating. The check in process was a little confusing because after I got into the gate, we didn’t realize to go through the main door on the right side. It also confused my travel partner who thought we were supposed to enter another garage code after our entry. That’s because in our message from Pedro, he mentioned a garage keypad also on the garage. After a while we figured out where we were to go and once inside, we were confused again because our instructions said our door would be opened, but all doors in the hallway were closed. It just took her some time to figure it out and then we were able to meet with our host for an orientation and greeting. Only other feedback is that the bathroom area needed a little more cleaning to remove stray hair, but I could tell the bathroom was sanitized I could see Lysol bottles and other sanitary bottles around. I felt like it was safe from germs. I’m very grateful for that. And the other didn’t bother me too much. Overall I’m very grateful for Pedro‘s place it’s better than anything else in Edmonds. Please note that it is a shared residence it is not private it is one room inside of a home. I knew that when I booked, but some travelers may not.
