Casa Tre Fiori's Orchid is a newly remodeled one bedroom apartment with a large porch overlooking the lovely and peaceful garden. Enjoy the serenity of St John. Walk to some of the National Park hiking trails. Short drive to town and to the National Park beaches. Fish Bay is adjacent to the National Park on the south shore of the St John.

Peaceful Week Away

The Orchid was a great place to stay on our first visit to St John. The property is located in a quiet part of the island, less than 15 mins from Cruz Bay and less than 30 mins from Coral Bay in our rental Jeep. I was glad to have 4WD available to navigate the twisty, up and down roads; especially when it was raining. Everything needed for the beaches is provided (folding beach chairs, towels and cooler w/ice packs) and there’s a well-appointed kitchen (although we only used the coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave). The pool was nice for a couple of quiet breaks and the large porch was a great place for morning coffee and relaxing before dinner. The A/C in the bedroom was perfect for sleeping. Overall, this is a beautiful property that was a great value, we would gladly return.

You will not want to leave

This was our second stay and already planning our third. We love the location and vibes. We have had the pleasure of meeting some of the other guests who have all been super kind humans sharing island ideas. You will not regret staying at one of Tina and Joe's properties, they are great people!

Peaceful!

We are so glad we stayed here, away from the noise of Cruz Bay. It was close enough to be convenient but far enough to be quiet. The laundry room really came in handy! The owners were really good to work with.

St John trip

Our stay at St. John could not have been more perfect. It was our first visit. We’ve learned a lot and we will be back again probably in the next year and Joe were great very helpful to me with elementary questions as a first time visitor to the beautiful island.

The place was terrific. The porch was beautiful for drinking coffee in the mornings. The snorkel gear was a big plus. The property is beautiful and in a nice location. The visitor’s book was a really nice touch and gave us ideas about where to go and what to do. AC kept us cool at night. 10/10 Perfect stay.

Very nice stay

We have stayed with Tina and Joe a few times now and the stay was great again. They’re perfect hosts and are there if you need them. Villa is very clean and has everything you need for a stay in St John. We will be back in the future!

Peaceful Retreat

We enjoyed our stay in Orchid cottage. Tina has thought of everything… from beach chairs to little direction signs to hiking suggestions. The location is good-close to centerline road but also Cruz Bay. The cottage is cute & comfortable with beach decor & a view of the hills. The landscaping is nice too. We hope to return!

Paradise's flower the Orchid

This is our second time staying on in this property and we will be back. The Orchid at Casa Tre Fiori property have everything we need to enhance our visit to St John. The property is pretty centrally located, making it easy to go Cruz Bay and the north beaches or Coral Bay. Joe and Tina provide you with a ton of information about the island, including sample menus and a list of their favorite things to do. (Make sure you read and sign the guestbook it's nice to hear about other peoples experiences on the island.) They also provide you with plenty of towels, beach equipment and use of the hot tub, pool and washer/dryer. Despite being a triplex it quite and peaceful. I would highly recommend the Orchid to any couple looking for an affordable place to stay while in St John. Joe and Tina were very communicative and are excellent host.

Nice stay

We stayed at Joe and Tina’s for six nights. The property was what I expected - plenty of room for two. We used the pool, hot tub and laundry. Wifi worked fantastic . Cellular worked occasionally. St Johns national beaches are best I have ever seen yet.

Beautiful home base

Had all we needed but be prepared for the drive to get home - some crazy steep roads with sharp turns! Definitely need a Jeep! Appreciated the cooler and fins! Lovely peaceful location!

Perfect place in paradise

The Orchid was perfect. Every time we returned from our daily adventures it felt like coming home. The house was well stocked with dinnerware and pans so we could cook (or grill) at home. There were plenty of towels and beach towels. Tina and Joe also supplied a cooler, beach chairs and snorkel gear all of which we used every day. It was the perfect stay.

Relaxing stay

We have been to St John several times now and this was our second stay at Joe and Tina's Villa. They are great host, who are attentive if you need them and make sure you are taken care of. The villa is clean and you will have everything you need for your stay including snorkel gear. The villa is good place to relax and to call home while you are on the Island. There is a nice pool and hot tub to enjoy as well after a day at the beach. We will be back. Tom V.

Quiet tropical retreat

My wife and I made this suite our home base for our daily excursions snorkeling the many beaches of St. John. We like the quiet setting, availability of beach chairs and cooler, and laundry. We appreciate the hosts.

We enjoyed this location because it is close to Cruz Bay and the north shore beaches. Joe and Tina are accommodating and we enjoy visits from Pip, the dog. We have rented two of their properties and we are considering a return.

Comfortable, nicely appointed apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in Fish Bay at "Orchard". The apartment was very spacious, had a great kitchen with good quality equipment (blender/micro/range/nice clean fridge/ toaster), nice wrap around porches for sitting outdoors and enjoying the stars and night sounds and a great little pool for enjoying after a hot day in the sun. Hadn't understood that the A/C was only in the bedroom but it turned out to be a none issue with great ceiling fans and lots of cross breezes through large sliding screen doors. It felt very private and cozy and very very clean which we really appreciated. We snorkeled a different gorgeous beach every day (we brought our own equipment but there is some there), mostly had dinners in Cruz bay (a book of menus in the apartment) and cooked breakfast at home before heading out. If you have not visited the island before, know that you are driving at 20mph and under as the roads are insane - on the left, steep hills, hair pin turns, etc - so it takes a while to get to Cruz bay 15-20 min and then that again to get up to the beaches. We thank our hosts and encourage others to stay at Orchard - it is a lovely spot!

Relaxing villa!

This villa is a beautiful, quiet retreat! My husband and I spent 3 nights. We spent the day visiting gorgeous beaches and hiking the trails. It was wonderful to return back to a relaxing villa to relax and enjoy the quiet. It has all the amenities you would need. Other guests in the adjacent villas, were rarely seen and never heard. The villa is located a quick drive from Cruz bay. Would love to stay on our next visit to St. John and hopefully for longer time period.

A good value in Fish Bay

This villa was very clean, well-maintained and decorated just as the pictures show. It is situated in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood that is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Cruz Bay. You will need to rent a car/jeep in order to stay here, as it is not on a main taxi route - it's about a 10-12 min drive into Cruz Bay from this location. The villa has easy driveway parking for your vehicle, so no worries there. The caretaker was always around and very friendly. Both the pool and the hot tub were very nice. There is a laundry on the lower level, which was great for washing bathing suits and towels after a day at the beach. A few caveats to an otherwise great property: There are no water views - it faces what I would call "inland island views". Very nice and tropical - but no blue water views. There are a total of three units in this rental, so you will have to deal with the comings and goings of other vacationers. The other folks who stayed there at the same time were mostly quiet, but keep in mind you can hear them, especially if they are out on the balcony. Not sure if this was mentioned in the listing, but only the bedroom is air-conditioned - the rest of this unit, including the bathroom, is not. There were ceiling fans and lots of air flow, but we went at a very humid time, and had we wanted to cook or use the stove, it would have made the unit unbearably hot. Also, a minor thing but this unit is desperately in need of better bed pillows. All in all, this rental is very well-priced and a very good value for a single traveler or a couple. We would definitely stay at this property again.

First time on the Island

This is the first time my partner and I have been to St. John and it was lovely staying here. The owners were very nice and gave accurate directions to get to the property. The property was tucked away in a quiet little spot on a decent sized piece of land. Woke up every morning to deer feeding in the back yard & the occasional iguana in the trees. Would recommend and stay again in the future.

Amazing!!!

Our stay at Joe and Tina’s property was amazing!!! The house was very clean. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Joe and Tina were very accommodating in working with me and my husband when our flight to St. John was re-scheduleed. I highly recommend this property!!! Can’t wait until next year!!!
