This four bedroom, three bath, 1965 chalet is located on Tin Mountain high above Jackson Village. With a huge wrap around deck and floor to ceiling windows this house offers spectacular views of Mount Washington, the Jackson Village and the Presidential Range. One of the best views in all of Mount Washington Valley. It will truly take your breath away. Our home is a vintage 1965 Ski Chalet, and this means it’s full of quirks and character and that’s why we love it so much. It's clean and tidy and we are constantly working on maintenance and renovation projects. So if you are more comfortable in a sleek modern place, we gently suggest our place might not be the best fit for your holiday.

Three floors with bedrooms and bathrooms on each level makes this home perfect for multiple generations. Dogs welcome with prior approval and fee, with a two dog maximum. Sorry no cats. Located conveniently near Jackson Village, Storyland, North Conway, and Ski Areas.

Our family had a wonderful time! The house is adorable and cozy! The view was spectacular! We spent our mornings and early evenings out on the deck. We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets! The beds were very comfy and the home had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning!

The views were great

The home was as described. The hosts were great and answered the single question we had very quickly. Just know that the house has no A/C except for a unit on the top floor. A/C should be unneeded, however we happened to visit on a very abnormal hot streak. The bathroom on the top floor has no fan. The water heater can't handle more the one shower at a time. The kitchen has been remodeled as has been one of the bathrooms. Everyone was happy to stay there. We had plenty of space, bathrooms and bedrooms. The view of the mountains was beautiful through the numerous sliding glass doors and wrap-around deck. Location was excellent.

Gorgeous NH Destination!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Katie was an amazing host with excellent communication throughout the stay. The views from the deck are gorgeous. A perfect place for morning coffee or an afternoon book. Everything was clean and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. We would absolutely stay at this property again. Location is convenient to many area attractions.

Perfect Views and Family Friendly

Ian and Kate were amazing hosts with their spectacular home. They were nothing but accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of. I will definitely be looking to stay with them again! The house is perfect for families. The main floor is where the kitchen and living was and it was just open enough where I could prepare dinner and still participate in conversations or games in the living room. The basement was a cool spot to do puzzles, read and play games when the afternoons were warm. And the porch was perfect anytime of the day but especially first thing in the morning for sunrise and sunsets in the evening. Jackson is such a great town and we are close enough to North Conway to enjoy both. We were able to walk around Jackson and the Jackson Falls, but just a little longer drive go shopping in North Conway, or drive to Mount Washington for the auto road. This house is in the perfect location. Our family was so grateful to have such an amazingly welcoming place to stay for our vacation. I highly recommend to anyone with a family and dog.

Great weekend getaway

Great location with an amazing view. Property owner is very responsive to any questions or issues that may come up. I have lived in NH and travelled nearly every road in Northern NH - this is one of the best views and locations for a house I have seen yet.

Stunning View!

Our group ranged from 8 years old to 81 yes old. We had a wonderful time and loved everything about the property…I can’t imagine a better view. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. We cooked some great meals in the well equipped kitchen and loved the space to spread out when needed. The owners were incredibly responsive for anything we needed! Wonderful memories were made! Can’t wait for out next stay!

Beautiful home in the mountains!

Every year, my friends and I go on a ski trip and this year, we visited Attitash and Wildcat. This beautiful home in the mountains was conveniently located between both resorts. I loved driving over the honeymoon bridge in-route to the house—so New England! There are several bar and restaurant options within a 10-15-minute drive. The house is super cute! The posted pictures are exactly what you’ll enjoy. The all-glass doors in the kitchen/living room allowed for spectacular views of the mountains. We’ve done 7 or 8 ski trips—this house, by far, had the best views. I bet the fall colors would be beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped. I loved the wood burning fireplace—we enjoyed it every night. The sleeping accommodations were nice. The house is very big and spacious. The heat worked great—we stayed plenty warm during the single digit nights. Katie was very responsive when I messaged her and helped answer any questions. Overall, excellent stay. You can tell this home is lovingly cared for. Thank you, Ian and Katie!! We really enjoyed our stay.

The perfect getaway!!!

Just needed a recharge and this was the perfect answer. I was reading through the reviews and kept reading about the amazing views. Well they are not the least bit exaggerated. It is hard not to keep looking out the windows. So what else makes this place so and they special. Well location is one, a fireplace is always nice and this one has a double sided one that we used all day while the snow came down outside and we just loved it. Oh and there is another fireplace and a second living area if you need your own space. It was just what my batteries needed to recharge. The most amazing part of this property is the owners. We got a chance to meet them and they are just the best. We will definitely be repeat guests. Already planning when we will return this year!!! Thanks Katie and Ian for sharing your place with us! Spectacular Views!

My family enjoyed our time in this house. The views of the mountains were beautiful! The area is quiet. The house was very clean. The kitchen was well supplied. The beds and linens were comfortable. This house was perfect for our dogs. They were able to hang out with us on the deck and were confined. They enjoyed their walks as much as we did! Very little street traffic. The homeowners were quick to reply to questions. My husband and I plan on vacationing at Jackson next year and hope to be able to come back to this home!

On Top of the World

We came up to New Hampshire to go leaf peeping and enjoy the Fall colors. This house is the best place to stay if you want mountain views, amazing sunrises, sunsets and love wood burning fireplaces! The house is cozy, well equipped and Katie was the best host! We had the most amazing time and never got tired of the amazing views from the deck. This truly is a very special place.

We both grew up coming to this beautiful area. In 2010 we purchased a vacation home across from Black Mt. We found that we were spending more time in Jackson than our other home. We were so sad every time we had to leave. In 2018 our son was nearing grade school. We decided to take the leap and move to Jackson permanently. Our son attends the Jackson Grammar school and is on the ski team. We love Jackson and love sharing our community with our guests. We're always available to our guests to share area recommendations, deliver a cup of sugar, help shovel off cars, basically anything you need to enhance your stay!

Why they chose this property

We also love the way the house takes you back in time. Imagine the groovy times the prior owners had skiing Tyrol Mountain and returning to have cocktails by the fire. When we renovated the kitchen it has a build in blender!

What makes this property unique

The view is breathtaking. Even though we are in the house almost weekly to tend to projects, the view still knocks our socks off.
