Golden View Cabin Pet Friendly Private Detached Studio w/Panoramic Lake View

Our cabin is fenced and located at the far side of our one acre property, approximately 100 feet from the main house, to ensure complete privacy for our guests. Equipped with full kitchen, king size bed with top quality bamboo brand mattress, wifi, cable, Netflix and a large soaker tub in the bathroom. All main living areas in the cabin along with an outdoor covered lounging area and deck have full Panoramic views of Okanagan lake. The deck also has a BBQ, and lounging furniture so you can enjoy that bottle of wine while watching the sunset. And for afternoons that are to warm the fully covered exterior living room has a comfy outdoor couch, dinning area and gas fire table to add a little ambience to your evenings. We are located in the heart of wine country and a two minute drive down the hill offers you a vast selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping, along with lakefront walking trail, beautiful beaches and boat access. Perfectly situated between Naramata/Penticton and Kelowna, offering to both winter and Summer travellers a host of activities including shopping, wineries, ski hills and spas. Come and enjoy all the Okanagan has to offer.

Stunning views

We had an absolutely fabulous stay. The outdoor space was wonderful with just the most amazing views. Inside was so cute and quaint and had everything we needed and more. The host was extremely accommodating and very attentive and easy to communicate with. Most definitely hope to return and stay again.

Fantastic Property & Stellar Hosts !!

We LOVED everything about Peachland, and this little cottage was perfect for us ! Great access to all amenities', and 5 mins drive to the water. The dog was very happy ! There was a review stating that there wasn't enough hot water to fill the tub ? We never had that issue. There was more than enough hot water. A/C worked great ! No complaints at all !! Unfortunately, our car died and cut our trip short, be we are already planning to go back next chance we get. They (the Hosts) even offered to drive us to the repair shop !! Doesn't get much better than that !!

What a find

This place was amazing. Had everything we needed for a weeks break. The view from the property was outstanding and the property was very private despite there being houses close by. The weather was fantastic the whole time we were there so we made the most of it and spent most of our time sitting outside in the covered patio or eating breakfast on the deck whilst admiring the view. I have to say a lot of thought went into the layout of this small place and the owner has provided everything you need to enjoy your visit. Parking is a little tight as already mentioned by others but it was doable and we were able to manoeuvre when needed for sure. Would definitely recommend this place in a heartbeat and our dog loved it too. A nice touch of a bottle of wine to enjoy during our stay.. very much appreciated.

Great for couples who enjoy wine and great views

Lovely studio with great lighting and views of Okanogan lake. The host are very nice and easy to get a hold of. The location of this studio is perfect for those who enjoy wine, small towns, and walks along the beach and or hiking.

Perfect view and getaway

This is a great spot to get away. It has a beautiful view and a great "feel" to the site. Dana was an excellent communicator and the place was spotless. There is a great fish and chips shop nearby and some great easy hikes nearby. It was great with a dog who could roam around the gated area and I was also able to slow charge my electric vehicle with a 50 foot cable (7 amps only but was enough to stop it from draining. Will be back if it is still available.

Hidden Gem

My partner and I have struggled for a long time being able to travel or visit family with a reactive dog who doesn’t play well with others. That is, until we found Golden View Cabin. With a totally fenced in, separate cabin next to the main house, we had total privacy without any worry of our dog having any encounters with the host or nearby neighbours. The little cabin was furnished with everything you’d need on a little vacation, modern, and nothing short of adorable. The outdoor patio and fire pit called for many opportunities to enjoy spectacular views of the okanagan while feeling like you were secluded on our own private little villa. We’ve already booked to come back in a couple months because this place has far exceeded our every expectation. Did I mention we were greeted with a bottle of wine when we arrived?! 10/10 recommend for sure.

Honeymoon Stay

It was such a cute space with an amazing view! The parking area was a little small for something bigger than a car but understandable. Great location allows for quick access to multiple amenities. Overall, great experience!

Anniversary

We loved that it had a fenced in yard for our dogs. Beautiful view, dog friendly. The kitchen was better equipped than we expected. The proprietors were easy to get hold of, and very helpful. We would highly recommend this lovely cabin.

Amazing cabin, great location

The cabin had everything we needed for our weekend away. Quiet, amazing location where we could wake up with the sun on our faces. Well laid out, great coffee station, great deck, and sitting area. A bit of feedback, the air freshener scents were too strong for us it was disappointing that there wasn't quite enough hot water to fill the large tub. Parking is a bit of a challenge as mentioned in other reviews but it is a worthwhile trade off for the view!

Perfect location

It was a wonderful view of the changing sky, and wide expanse of lake. There was lovely outdoor space—both covered and open spaces with a variety of seating. The cottage was in an enclosed space with a fence—perfect for my small dog. The TV was not a smart tv—I guess I was told that, but I hadn’t realized how limited the channel selection was. Wifi worked well. It was a surprise to find their was no closet nor luggage rack—there was a chest of drawers. Overall, I would recommend this spot.

Peachy spot in Peachland

This was our second time staying at this VRBO. It has an amazing view, a comfortable bed, and attentive hosts. It is a steal of a deal for the area, and a cozy spot for a getaway. While it is not a large property, it is still comfortable and the private outdoor space offers a lot of space- especially for our dogs. Great spot and will be visiting again.

Great view from cozy spot

Very nice little place with great outdoor seating both uncovered and covered. Really enjoyed looking out at the lake from the covered seating with the fire table. The bottle of wine was a nice surprise when we walked in. It was a great stay for us.

Beautiful Views

What a great place for a little getaway! One size fits all cabin that’s perfect for a couple. Pet friendly with a fully stocked bathroom and kitchen. Amazing views on the back deck of lake Okanagan and the hills to the south! Super easy check in and check out and great communication from the owners! They left us a lovely bottle of wine for our anniversary too! We will definitely consider staying here again in the future! 10/10!

Quiet, relaxing stay

My friend and I had a great time at the cabin. It's exactly as pictured and the multiple seating options on the deck are a fantastic addition. The hosts were super responsive and even lent us their beach equipment. The king sized bed is really comfortable and the sheets are butter soft. The kitchen is fully stocked, which was lovely! The couch likely needs to be replaced but it didn't bother us too much. Thanks for the bottle of wine - we enjoyed it on the deck watching the sunset.

The view, the cabin, the location! Everything was amazing. The cabin was very clean and contained everything you may need during your stay. The outdoor fire pit area overlooking the lake was amazing. We loved our stay and will forsure be back!!

Amazing cabin, view, and experience

My stay at Golden View Cabin was the best VRBO experience I've had. The cabin was gorgeous, spotless, amazingly well-stocked, and the view was 10/10. The options for seating were great, and my dog and I had so much room. The cabin is minutes from Peachland beach, and going back and forth was so easy I did it multiple times a day. Communication with Dana was easy, fast, and they were so kind and welcoming. I absolutely recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Great setup + apricots

I stayed for a week and really loved this place. I didn’t want to leave! Property is perched up on a hill overlooking Lake Okanagan. The view is spectacular and there are a variety of seating options outside to be in the sun or shade. Hosts were great: replied quickly when I had a question, gave me privacy and invited me to eat as many apricots from their tree as I wanted. I definitely took them up on it and they were delicious! I have friends in the area and will definitely stay here again when I come back to visit.

Great Place with a View

Great accommodations and central to exploring the Okanagan! The hosts were excellent in responding and we highly recommend to stay. We sat on the deck as much as we could for the spectacular view of the lake. One very small suggestion, the couch is extremely uncomfortable and should be replaced. Overall, 5 stars!

Living in Vancouver BC for the past 20 years we have made the Okanagan our vacation destination within Canada. We love summertime living here because of the hot weather, stunning beaches and the abundance of wineries. So in 2016 when the opportunity presented itself for us to own a piece of our vacation paradise we jumped at it!

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this property the second we saw the beautiful lakeviews and the location could not be better as we have all the amenities one would ever need just down the hill and from us. Situated in the middle of wine country it is a convenient and easy drive no matter what direction you go in; you can be at your first winery within a few minutes if you want to. Our private little cabin is the perfect home away from home.
