What a view! Enjoyed watching turtles in the bay every afternoon from the lanai. Bed is so comfortable! Sheets are amazing! Condo is well stocked with anything you need. I definitely will come again. Great communication with the owner.

This place was great! We loved how it was in a fairly quiet spot! The views from the condo were beautiful. We snorkeled right off the beach on the other side of the restaurant. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

We came for our honeymoon and wow this condo is amazing! Sitting out in the porch watching the sea turtles in the bay was unbelievable. Beautiful, clean place with wonderful hosts! We will be back.

Kauai In Comfort
Fantastic location and view of ocean bay! Close to great restaurants and either direction you drive on the Island you have short distances to see the sites! Unit had everything you need for your comfort and a wonderful view of the bay for relaxation! Highly recommend this condo for a short or long term visit: our stay was 11 day.

Wonderful place. The unit is very quiet, very well equipped and has a beautiful view. Great location. We had a minor problem and the owners were immediately responsive to me message. Would definitely book again!

Overall this is a nice rental. Unfortunately there were a few negatives. No umbrellas-having umbrellas available for guests, especially during the rainy season, should be a given. We stayed for a month and laundry was a problem. There were not enough machines, only one washer /dryer for the 4th floor. We ended up using multiple machines on different floors. Not ideal, especially when it was raining (slick floors and stairs. Could have used the elevator but didn't want to wait carrying laundry-hands full). Also, some of the coin machine didn't work. There were no coffee filters available, Yes, we tried using the gold filter but that was a pain to rinse every morning. And it was difficult trying to keep the grounds out of the drain. Since we were staying for a month, more paper products, especially TP, would have been considerate.

Turtles and more turtles
This was an absolutely terrific place from which to watch turtles in the ocean. The decor of the place is lovely, but the outdoor view from the 4th floor absolutely is the stunner. Broken lanai lock? Yep. Grills next to the dumpsters? No big deal, because there are turtles, and in my world that makes this place extra special.

Beautiful Cove View
We loved our stay at this property. The view of the cove and the ocean were spectacular, we loved sitting on the balcony at all times the day listening to the waves crash the rocks. We took the short drive to Poipu beach and had a great time, we appreciated the beach gear provided. The condo was well equipped, the AC was appreciated after non AC stay at a previous stop, the bed and family room furniture were comfortable. The location was easily accessible to many restaurants and shopping. We loved the condo and would definitely recommend it or consider staying again.

A little bit of paradise
My family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed staying in this condo. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and looking for turtles from the lanai. The condo had everything we needed and was well furnished. It's a great location right next to Lawa'i Beach. Close to shopping in Poipu and Koloa.

My husband and I have been in the hotel business for many years on the U.S. mainland and when we visited Kauai for the first time, we were amazed at the beauty of the island and all that it had to offer. It was easy to be relaxed and just enjoy the escape of every day life. We loved it so much, that we decided to plan another vacation for the following year. It was at that time, that we decided we would purchase a condo at Kuhio Shores.

Why they chose this property

Kuhio Shores offers a fully furnished condo with all the comforts of home, while being right on the water. Free parking, free WiFi, washer/dryer, barbecue area, elevators, and your own private lanai to enjoy sunrises or even the moon. Watching the sea turtles is one of my favorite things, in addition to watching the surfers. The location is walking distance to so many conveniences - shopping, restaurants, bars, galleries, grocery stores, etc. All of this without the big hotel resort fees. It is always hard to return home after being in Kauai. If you are planning a honeymoon, wedding, anniversary, birthday, reunion.........this really is the perfect place.

What makes this property unique

If you love the outdoors, there is lots to see and do in Kauai.......hiking, snorkeling, swimming, etc. There are several tours, if interested, for the whole family. The helicopter tour was a lot of fun and you see many parts of the island that are not accessible by foot or a vehicle, as well as learning about the history of Kauai. Scuba diving tours, water tours, etc can all be found on the island.
