The property was just the right size for our family and the location to the beach was perfect. This property is a great option for those looking for access to a low-key part of the beautiful Tybee beaches. Would stay in the same property.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the screen door to our deck did not work. My parents had the same issue at their place a few condos down. So we had to leave the big slider door closed at all times instead of getting fresh air with the screen door. Other than that everything was perfect!
Our overall experience with the stay was great. We had a few issues with the check-in procedure, because there was no gate pass code information in the packet we received. So we had to go all the way back to the office and had to prove that it wasn’t in the packet before we were able to receive it. However that was the only problem we encountered on the entire trip. The condo was nice and clean and spacious enough for six of us. We enjoyed and took a vantage of the one minute walk to the beach every day. The pools were nice and clean as well as the restrooms around them. Would definitely look into staying here again
The condo was located in a great location just a short walk to the beach. We could see the ships passing from the balcony and the kids loved that. Everything was clean and stocked. We would definitely stay here again.
Condo was great! Clean and organized. Very spacious. The only downside was that it took us two days to find the right parking spot!! We just kept driving by it. Otherwise, the stay was fantastic! Would like to come back when the weather is nicer…it was cold and rainy during our trip.
We loved that this was a short walk from the beach, backed up to the shore and was so. close to the lighthouse. This area was perfect and the propriety management company hit several snags and was able to proactively communicate... great work! Simple to stay, great location.
Remember to. provide your own dishwashing soap and clothes washing machine soap... coffee filters, too (they did have a Keurig).
Great location. We will stay here again.
Everything was great…until we figured out there were bed bugs in one of the twin beds. My daughter got bed bug bites HORRIBLE. We’ve had to clean everything…she was miserably itchy for 4 days after we got home. After 9 days it looks like they might be trying to scar up and she is devastated. I had to throw things away and steam suitcases, my car, etc. We have never experienced this at any hotel or condo before. I reached out to the Tybee rental place first and they did respond saying they forwarded my message to the owner. That was last week and I haven’t heard anything from the owner or got any of my money back and we spent a lot…very disappointing and stressful situation for my family.
AC was unable to turn below 70 & it was hot 🥵
Advertising & property manager stated that we would have 2 parking spots. This is IMPORTANT because Tybee is a pay to park town. When we got there our room only had one. The other car had to park in the “unmarked” parking. There are only a few of these inside the gate and were almost impossible to come by. This should be stated more clearly to potential renters.
VERY close and convenient to the north beach and lighthouse.
Overall good experience

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Hair everywhere
Getting to the property was difficult because the rental management address does not pull up correctly in GPS. I didn’t think this was a big deal. I called the business, which was closed, but had an after hours number. Perfect. I reached someone immediately. I explained our situation, that we were lost, he sighed and then cut me off. He explained that “every piece of communication we send out says NOT to use GPS. But with that being said, you’re at the wrong location.” I was certainly put off, because I wasn’t angry or blaming them, and his reaction to as pretty terrible. All I needed was directions. He was EXTREMELY annoyed to have to help me. Of course, I scoured EVERY PIECE OF COMMUNICATION I received from them. Not one had this information.
When we arrived at the property, it was tidy, but pretty worn. There was a lot of hair in the tubs I had to clean out. And hair and dirt all around the room. I didn’t feel comfortable calling the management company so I just cleaned it as well as I could.
Other than not being clean, the room was close to the description. It was well stocked and in a good location. I would recommend a deep clean as I’m sure it sees a lot of guests.
The only issue I had was that the kitchen sink faucet quit working. I made 3 calls and 1 voice mail about it and was assured each time that someone would be out to fix it. Someone finally came on Friday and we were leaving sat. The condo was nice and good location. Pool was great!
Interactions with property manager were great. A couple of burned out light bulbs and a deck light shorting out. Pool only open 10-6. Too early of a check out time and beach near condo isn’t as nice as depicted.
Great short walk to the beach. View was nice. Great location for social distancing. Not as crowded as south side. We did have some neighbors that liked smoking pot morning and evening so couldn’t sit out on the patio. The condo itself could use some updating in the bathrooms and the cleaning crew could clean a little better. The twin bedrooms comforters were gross so we washed them and the sheets to be safe. The rugs in the bathrooms were also in bad shape so made me question overall cleanliness. This was our first vrbo stay and first time to Tybee.
Tybee Island was a nice little town away from all the hustle and bustle. This condo was perfect for our family of four. The condo was decorated nicely and had a good view from the balcony.
It was just a short walk to the ocean once you exited the unit. There was hardly anyone on the beach and the kids had a lot of fun.
The Pirate Fest was going on while we were there which was an added bonus for the kids and adults. We also took a dolphin tour (Captain Derek's) and saw plenty of them. The tour went right in front of the condo where we saw a couple of dolphins so you might be able to see them while standing on the beach.
My only complaint about the unit is the washing machine is a front loader and the door probably stays shut most of the time which caused an awful smell when we washed our clothes. Our clothes stunk of mildew and must and we could not wear them. Maybe the cleaning company could run a bleach cycle every once in a while for the owners while they are gone. Also if you run the dishwasher, I would recommend doing it while you are not in the unit as it it rather loud.
Overall we had a great stay at the condo and would stay again if we ever return to Tybee.
Nice updated condo, has everything you need. Property has 3 pools (2 full size and 1 kiddie pool). Right on the beach which was enormous. Great soft sand and never crowded. Tybee is a great beach town, and our family of five had a great week here.
We enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and was well furnished. We would stay here again.
