Fully renovated condo located right on the beach! This beautiful condo has been completely re furnished and features new appliances for you to enjoy. The modern furniture and decor give it a fresh and contemporary feel, while the beachfront location provides breathtaking views from its 3 balconies that you can sit out on to enjoy and watch the beautiful South Padre ocean as well as an easy access to the beach.

Condo is on a third floor. NO elevator.

The living room has plenty of seating for you to enjoy some quality time with friends and/ or family members. Enjoy binge watching your favorite programs on its flat screen TV with cable. Enjoy some peaceful afternoons or amazing sunrises on the two balconies off the living room that look out to the ocean!!

Bahia Mar is a property meant to be enjoyed. It has so much to offer for everyone; Kids will enjoy the playground and the walking trails so much! Everyone will enjoy the two pools with hot tubs and the beach deck on the property. It is s an amazing spot to read a good book or to simply sit and relax. You should try it! If you like tennis you can pack your rackets and enjoy a match on one of our two tennis courts. Gardens are amazing too! This is one of the biggest properties on the island and security is always on top of things. You will relax and enjoy your time there guaranteed!

•   Great island activities include: Off-site bird- and turtle-watching, Beach four-wheeling, Horseback riding, Laguna Madre Nature trail. Walking on the island is also a lot of fun!
•   Our rental properties are family oriented. Good behavior is expected from our guests, respect for property rules and other guests. No parties allowed. Minimum age to rent is 21 and must be present during the entire stay.

Family get away

Had a wonderful time at the resort. The place was clean and nice and very well kept. Beds were comfortable, and there were pool towels available for use, dish soap, hand towels, soaps & shampoos. We loved everything about this place. We had some issues w/ the wifi, but Bryan handled it for us & it was solved the next day. It would be helpful to have a small book of passwords, instructions upon leaving and maybe some local menus. directions for

My wife and I had a wonderful stay, with our walks on the beach, a very nice condo in a peaceful complex. Brian, our go to condo guy was very easy to get in touch with and helped us with any concerns.

View is great!

The view is just as pictures show. Property overall was great. Furniture could use an upgrade as well as the patio doors as one would not slide but overall we enjoyed ourselves!

Loved everything about this place. The location was perfect, the view from the balconies were amazing, the pool and beach were exactly what we were looking for and the remodeled condo was great. Each room with it's own bathroom made it convenient for two families of four and the bedroom setups worked perfect.

Great place

This was a great place to say. Upstairs room was excellent for me and my husband to get away from the rest of the group and sleep. Kitchen is a bit tight but like how it’s open to the living area. Great ocean views! Three smaller balconies but still able to enjoy the beautiful view! Right off the beach easy access to beach and the pool.

On the beach!

We had a great time. Property would be tricky if you're not able to do stairs. The steps to the upstairs bedroom are narrow- suggest you use the railing. Location is fabulous. Took us a little bit to learn we were just a short walk on the beach to restaurants (go north). Had to purchase our own drinkware (no non-glass available in the unit) to use in the pool area & we left a corkscrew & coffee filters. TV worked, but took some trial and error as there were no instructions. Far more positives than any of the small stuff as listed above. Definitely recommend!

Being directly on the beach was great, however the three super small balconies barely fit two persons at a time on them. While the unit itself was clean inside, the area outside was very dirty especially the stairwell. The beds were basically air mattresses which squeaked while moving around on them and not very comfortable. The pool area and the ocean facing deck were very nice. We would consider coming back to this property because of its location on the beach, but would definitely not come back to this particular unit.

Fun time at the beach!

We had a good time at the beach! The condo was nice with lots of room for 5 to spread out, and the property manager was easy to deal with. The one thing we needed fixed they fixed asap. The condo is on the 3rd floor, no elevator, which wasn't an issue for us but might be for some.

Location is very good but the unit is old and terrible

The unit is old and not worth renting in its current state. I took it for the 3 bathrooms( passing other better options) but one of the bathroom troubled all through the stay and not fixed in-spite of repeated messages. The entrance way to the unit in a way gives a picture of whats in store behind the doors. Flooring is so bad/old, cant think of walking barefoot. The location and view of the beach is the only saving grace.

Awesome Getaways

Really enjoyed our stay, great ocean views! Would make a big suggestion and call the master as the downstairs bedroom with the small balcony. Upstairs bedroom with skinny winding staircase good for teens or young adults. Could use some soap and a good spray wash on balconies. Too bad 3rd bedroom doesn’t have a window, if you are claustrophobic, do not take this room, but great for sleeping in, (a ceiling fan would go a long way in adding some sort of sound or feeling of air in that dark room). Overall fun and easy going, great access to beach. Updated kitchen had all we needed. I don’t know why when you call and ask if there is a Keurig, they say, “no” (because there is a Keurig:) We had 5 people no problem. Had a great time. .

COVID escape

Was wonderful to get away from home and enjoy South Padre. Condo was very spacious. We loved the balconies for the sounds of the waves and beautiful sunrises. Proximity to the beach was perfect. Management has definitely addressed previous reviews. Trick to the master bedroom a/c is to keep the door closed. We would love to stay again.

Good, but could so easily be GREAT!

I can't say enough about this property's location. The beachfront condo allows easy access to the beach, a wonderful view from each balcony, and it's close to the pool. Be advised there is no elevator and it's on the 3rd level, so there are stairs to climb. This was not a problem for us but it might be for some. The condo has plenty of space with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The washer and dryer are very handy and actually work very well! There is a large table the is perfect for dinner or games. I really liked the large mud--room where we could leave our beach bags and hang our towels, keeping sand out of the condo. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Now for a few things that need improvement. One of the showers had not been cleaned and had hair in it. (room right by living room) It also drains very slowly and the toilet doesn't flush right so I suspect a clog in the line. This needs to be addressed. Obviously at the beach in a humid environment, mold is an issue.. However, just clean the vents and bathroom wall with some bleach spray and your guests won't be looking at mold. None of the tubs had stoppers, so the listing should state "showers only," or buy $2 stoppers. Please update your listing to say "coffee pot" not Keurig, as we brought all supplies for a Keurig only to find a coffee pot. Kitchen needs more forks, as there are only 6, and this condo sleeps 8. The patio furniture is ridiculously large so you have to squeeze out onto the balcony to sit down. It's time for an upgrade. The upstairs patio has no furniture at all. The guest bedroom sliding door is so rusted it is nearly impossible to access the balcony. Don't lock the deadbolt because it is very difficult to open with the key. I really thought we were going to have to go get assistance when it finally opened. Adding a broom and dustpan, and some pot holders would be very helpful. Lastly, the rug in the living room is getting ragged and the corners are curling up causing a tripping hazard. As stated before, this condo could be SO GREAT with just a few improvements that would cost very little. I have stayed in many condos in Texas and Florida and maybe my expectations are high, but I do expect a clean place. It also it disappointing to see such a fabulous condo in the best location in need of simple updates and fixes. Please see my review as an opportunity to make your condo fabulous!

False advertising

This rental was advertised so well that we were very surprised when we arrived to find several of the amenities did not work. The AC did not work in 2 out of the 3 rooms, the fridge and microwave did not work and a toilet continuously had issues with flushing. Property management was quick to respond to our calls and had someone out to take a look at the toilet and fridge but did not follow up on the issues. It felt as if this unit was the only functioning unit in the building since construction crews were present during our entire stay and would start working early in the morning which made it hard to enjoy the room or sleep in at all. Overall, this unit felt dirty and as if it wasn’t well kept and did not help provide a relaxing atmosphere for our family vacation.

We had a great stay

The property was clean, the views were amazing, the kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were large. We loved that it was so pet friendly and we enjoyed sitting out on the boardwalk when we weren’t on the beach. The outside of the property definitely needs some TLC but all of the common areas were very well kept. We wished that there had been some furniture on the balconies so that we could have spent more time enjoying them. These owners have done a great job with an older property.

Unbeatable location

You really can't pick a better location to stay on the beach. Sitting on the balconies you feel like you might as well be sitting on the sand. The beach is also a short walking distance to Clayton's beach bar. There is a great little boardwalk on the property facing the beach with new patio furniture to enjoy. The staff on site is also very friendly and helpful. The unit itself has a little wear and tear, but overall is a great value considering the amazing location and surrounding facilities.
