As you enter the first floor of the home, you will immediately notice the open concept living, kitchen and dining area, and the breaking unobstructed gulf views that are all around! The living room features a large flat screen T.V., however the gulf views are entertainment in themselves! The kitchen is open with stainless steel appliances, and a dining room table for 6-7. Head out to the covered balcony to enjoy the salty air and listen to the waves hit the shore. You have your own private walkway do to the beach that makes coming and going a breeze!
Grill out on the bottom floor patio, or relax in the evenings in the hot tub! There is no shortage of outdoor space for the entire group!

Back inside, up on the second floor you will find the three additional bedrooms! The master suite features its own private balcony access, so right when you wake up the beautiful gulf is the first thing you see in the morning!

Family vacation

Overall, our stay was good. We loved being on the beach! The umbrella and chair service was incredible. The neighborhood was nice. I wish there were a few more amenities in the area. There were some Small things about the house that need attention. The hose on the deck coming up from the beach is in horrible condition. You basically have to try to rinse your feet off from a break in the hose. The pillows were pretty bad. As with most rentals, pans are really bad. But the kitchen was nice otherwise. Really good appliances. The upstairs master bedroom gets incredibly hot. I would definitely keep the shades drawn all day long.

Beautiful Beach and House

My family had a Great time staying here. The weather kept the water closed for a couple of days, but the babies loved playing in the white sand. The house was very comfortable and very close to nice restaurants that we frequented. We definitely want to return afain.

Annual Girls Christmas weekend

Again, this house provided us such a fun and memorable weekend. Perfect location with great shops and restaurants within walking distance. The beach is never too crowded during our time and it is always stunning

Sunrise Cottage was Amazing!

For 2 years, my friend and I pick a beach location to stay for a month at the beginning of the year to reset our pampered chef businesses. We invite other consultants to join us throughout the month. Our stay this year was at Sunrise Cottage and was just perfect. The kitchen was very well stock (important for pc ladies) and the home was very clean. We were lucky to be the first group to use the new hot tub! Our friends loved having the space to work independently and in small groups. We had a couple maintenance issues but Itrip customer service was exceptional and took care of little things (ice maker and fire alarms). We all loved the location and how close it was to Gulf Point and the restaurants there. And the VIEWS are amazing! Only tips we have are just decorative: new curtains/drapes on the second floor; ceiling fans would be nice to help move air; and new furniture on the deck and on the second floor master bedroom deck. We all really loved this location!

2023 Vazquez Family Vacation

We absolutely loved everything about our Saturday at the Cottage we had 7 adults and 2 children and the house location and amenities could not have been better. The host Kathy was amazing and on top of it. We had a small issue where the trash wasn’t picked up and she had her crew come and get it the next morning, she was incredibly responsive We will be back!

Location location location

Super cute place with amazing view of the ocean from the master bedroom and living room. What a treat to spend a week right on the water. Charming home with all the necessary amenities for a great family vacation. Only downside was the hot tub was not working due to a recent freeze and the sofas appeared a little grubby. Probably time to change out the slipcovers and pillows. Thanks for a good stay!

Few things need to be corrected

As I had communicated during our stay the first floor was absolutely not heating properly. It was 58 degrees the first 3 days we were there even though the upstairs was 73. Because of how cold the main floor was we could not use the bedroom on that level. Absolutely not acceptable for what we paid. Your maintenance was kind enough to come right out on Christmas Even and bring us a small space heater but that did not do much at all. Also the oven would not work most of the time. I believe that maintenance ordered a part for it but not sure. We had no ice the entire time we were there because the ice maker does not work. The refrigerator has drawers that are falling apart and need to be replaced. There are stains on the sofa, pillows and carpet that need to be cleaned. The view was gorgeous but all beachfront homes have that. I thought I would leave a review here before putting this on VRBO to give an opportunity to make this right. We are requesting a refund of one nights rent

Annual Girls Christmas weekend

This is our second year to rent this property and we love it. The house is perfect for the 7 of us and the location is breathtaking with beautiful views of the ocean. We feel very safe in this gated community and the restaurants and shops are all within walking distance of the house. We love the Sunrise Cottage and will be back next year

Sunrise Cottage

Beautiful home on the beach. Only issue was hot tub did not work and this was known prior to our arrival. I asked for a partial refund since it was advertised with a hot tub and I was told a supervisor would be consulted but no reply so far. Beds were comfortable and beach access it’s phenomenal. House needs some TLC (couch covers were pretty dirty for example).

Excellent Location, but other issues

You cannot beat the location of the property! You step out the back door, across the deck, and your toes are in the sand! The house is very well appointed, and the king size bed was very comfortable. We had a few minor issues when we arrived that the holiday properties tended to rather quickly. The main issue that was never resolved was the hot tub. It was dirty upon arrival - murky water and sand in the bottom. The property management said someone would be out the next day to clean it. It still was not clean when the 2nd(or3rd) guy came out. The water was also cold. The worker said he had reported that the hot tub wasn't working over a week before our visit. I spoke with the "operations manager" at the property management company and he said he would personally be out to make sure it was working properly. He did not come by, and it never worked the entire time we were there. A hot tub is an added extra that many people(myself included) look for when renting a property. The weather would have been perfect to enjoy it throughout the week. As for the house itself, as I mentioned location, location, location! However certain expectations come along with renting a nice ocean front house. The bent curtain rods and cheap shades in the master bedroom could certainly use an update. All this being said, I plan to visit this area again. I wouldn't rent this house again if it were managed by the same company. Tommie

Great Location, but a few things.....

Overall good house and amazing location...literally on the beach, walkable to restaurants, shops Here are the cons for the price... 1. You can assume folks are traveling so not including beach towels is not ideal 2. Beach chair and umbrella rental NOT included. It absolutely should be!!! 3. You are on a private beach BUT this rental does not "do something" so anyone can sit in front of, beside and behind you while others around you will NOT have that experience 4. Absolutely NO beach toys, rafts, "stuff" to use 5. In the summer if you require one week rentals, MINIMAL dishwasher liquid, laundry detergent, soap, paper towels, toliet paper, garbage bags is NOT feasible. It is not enough! 6. The plants by the front stairs need to be cut back. 7. The hose to wash feet from beach is falling apart. 8. The gate code provided was wrong. We called the mgmt company multiple times. Told us the code was rt. It was not. A neighbor saw us struggling and told us the code. The only way we got in. Overall it is a good house, amazing location as you are rt on beach and close to shops BUT(and a big but) for the price the little things I mentioned above make a BIG difference and make you want to come back and tell others all about it!

Family trip

Great location! Amazing views. Dulce vida is the place to rent you chair set up. Use the credit that comes with the house for back pack chairs or bon fire. The only three complaints I have about the house are the smoke alarm went off if you cooked on the stove top at all in the house. The gate code was wrong to enter the neighborhood. We had to ask the car behind us for it because the management company kept saying their number was right. Lastly, the mattresses need pads or new mattresses. Some of them were terribly hard. None of that would keep me from renting again though. The location makes it worth any headache. And we aren't too high maintenance. Just an older home that's been updated so just know expectations are everything. Overall a great stay

iTrip needs to step it up

When we arrived to our house we heard birds through the walls. They were stuck in the attic. We had to wait for iTrip to get someone to our house for two entire days of our vacation. Not only were the birds incredibly loud but they also were able to stick their wings through the slats in the ceiling. So we could actually see them. When critter control finally came Monday mid morning they installed a device to get the birds out of the attic. Unfortunately the birds never left and one ended up breaking through the thin ceiling in a closet and getting into our home. The kicker is that iTrip KNEW the birds were there before letting us come to stay… they admitted this to us. iTrip never ONCE mentioned compensating us for this huge issue we had while staying in one of their homes. When I mentioned wanting to be compensated they always changed the subject. We had family fly in from all over the country to stay in this house for a week. We paid thousands of dollars. And iTrip couldn’t be bothered to try to make up the situation for us. Their management is awful and they clearly don’t care about the experience of the people staying at their properties. Not to mention the giant stains on the couch and pillows along with having a paddle board out front on display and telling us it “wasn’t included in our package.” Oh, and the hot tub doesn’t work. This property is very poorly run and it is evident when you stay there.

Great spot

Really nice beachfront house we had a great time. The weather was great and the house worked really well for our needs. Property manager reacted quickly to a couple of minor needs. Be sure to ask for the free umbrella set you get one with this unit. We had chairs do they gave us 2 umbrellas instead. Set for us everyday

Family Beach Trip

The location of this house was perfect! Especially with young kids it was easy to go back and forth without too much effort. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the information about the rental credit was a little misleading. To use it for beach chair service we didn't realize you could only use it at the nearby public beach which is VERY crowded. Once we figured this out we tried using the credit for a kayak rental and was never able to confirm with the rental company which was frustrating. Overall this home was fantastic and we will definitely be back!

We didn’t want to leave!

This location is amazing. The house was perfect!! We were lucky enough to stay for 2 weeks and hope to book again ASAP for the coming year. Private beach access out the back door made beach days with out two small kids so easy and enjoyable. They loved it! This house is family friendly but would also be wonderful for an adults only trip. Only two very minor things; the pedestrian gate numbers didn’t work (we had two to try) and the kitchen isn’t stocked with anything at all (we left some salt, pepper, and cinnamon!) All in all; we are itching to come back and didn’t want to leave to come home!
