We had a group of 9 friends that are now scattered across the country, this was our annual get together and the house was perfect for cooking for our large group, with beds for everyone, and easy access to and from the mountain.
Loved our stay at this ski in/out home! Very unique layout with lots of stairs to help keep your legs ready for a day on the slopes! Also, beautiful views of the mountain from inside the home and hot tub!
Absolutely incredible house! So much space, very clean, huge kitchen and dining table. Dinners were epic! We all loved being able to be together comfortably during meals. Hot tub was a great bonus. Perfect ski-in/ski-out location. I hope to book again!
Great house for large family. Kitchen well stocked. Hot tub was great after a day of skiing. Ski in ski out was perfect. Enjoy having a garage to park vehicle. Great room to take on and of skiing gear. Would definitely book again.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Misrepresentation of bedroom number
Overall, a good place to stay with true ski out, although one must be careful on the short steep trail. If no snow on road, 150-200 steps back in, mostly down hill. Well stocked hose with lots of room and lots of steps. Plenty of hot water with decent pressure. MAJOR PROBLEM: Listed as 5 bedrooms, but there are only 4!!!The “fifth bedroom” is a den with 2 trundle beds and NO DOOR. Uncomfortable beds and very noisy as no door and near other common areas and laundry room. Also no shades on windows in that room. Old house with need of repairs. Most of the mattresses should be replaced Property managers are very responsive and nice! Would recommend to renters but they should be aware of the above problems. Not a good place for 5 grown men desiring 5 bedrooms, however.
Great accommodations. Great views. Mgr. accommodated our complicated 3 family schedule. Easy access to skiing. Downside was lack of window treatments to screen out sunrise.
The house is perfectly situated ski in/out at Snowmass. The trail is literally 3 feet outside the front door!
The house functioned well with lots of cookware, spices, a fantastic fireplace, and room for everyone!
We had a great time and would return for sure!
Great location Aspen Snowmass. We were a group of nine guys with a bed for everyone. Large living room and Dining table. Would have liked unit to have large propane grill as the only supplied is a smaller charcoal grill.
Your party must be able to climb stairs as they are multiple levels to this home.
Also getting in and oit of some tub showers requires a large step up.
Great place for large groups. Quiet with beautiful view.
We needed a place with lots of bedrooms for our extended family attending a wedding in Aspen. The house had everything we needed. It is well equipped and comfortably furnished with lots of privacy and a great view of the mountains. On the whole it was a great place to stay, However, because the house is built on a slope, rooms are on many different levels so you must climb a lot of stairs to get around. This could be problematic for people who have problems with stairs, especially if you are not used to the altitude. Also, the shower/whirlpool bath in one of the bathrooms was difficult to get in and out of.
Beautiful Home. Large and spacious. The wonderful thing about it was location. We saw bear and deer from our kitchen window. Everything was spacious and room. I will echol some of the other reviews when they said there are no window coverings so the sun gets you up at 5AM. The house has stairs to everything (there are 4 levels). The kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a large family (our family is 10 people). My only kitchen comment was that the oven (Bosch) was stuck at 350 degrees and would not change. I called property management and they were addressing the issue.
I would definitely ro-book this house for our family
This is a unique property! Views were gorgeous, and the ski in/ski out access was excellent (though not for the very weakest skiers). Kitchen worked great, and the mudroom area for heading out to the slopes worked very well. The decor in the house is distinctive; I kinda enjoyed it, but others found it too weird. The two big minuses are that there are almost no window shades (prepare for early starts!) and that there are lots of steps. Almost every room is on its own floor, with lots of half-flights of stairs connecting them. Between the elevation and some skied-out legs, the stairs became a bit of a chore by the end. And my 9-month-old nephew needed constant supervision; luckily my 2.5-year-old nephew was safe on stairs. With all the pluses -- including nicely responsive management -- I'd consider staying here again, but I'd pack eyeshades for everyone and probably go elsewhere with little kids.
Beautiful house in an amazing location. It was a pleasure to stay here. The only downside was that we only found 7 beds in bedrooms and 3 couches in the living room rather than 10 beds in bedrooms as expected.
Great house. Layout encourages everyone to gather in the very large LR and/or kitchen. Very good parking. Cars are a necessity since the house is off the shuttle route; Dial-A-Ride available with reservation. If it snows, snowplow comes late in the morning. Not suitable for beginning skiers or small children since path to slope is thru trees.
Ski in ski out is about 200 feet from the front door, right on a main run. Easy to get in and out, mid mountain, breathtaking views of the area from the living room and kitchen. Tons of stairs and an interesting layout, but plenty of room for 10 adults and a few kids. Nothing bad to say about this lovely place.
Like many in the area the home is extremely dated. The location is the thing. We have two couples plus grown kids. I assumed with 5 BRs there would be at least two with double beds. No. One king and the other bedrooms are all twin beds. The listing is accurate but I didn’t notice that ahead of time. Another assumption I made was that there would be a normal check out time. We were all fully packed by 10am but found out all oyr flights had been cancelled because a plane had skidded off the runway. While I wenyt in search of a way to get home my friend stayed with the rest of the family. The management company became irate when she was still there while the cleaning crew was working. She called me really shaken by how he had spoken with her. She got everyone out immediately. I noticed niw I’ve been reviewed as a guest for the first time so I assume this is the reason. I’ve been both and owner and a renter on vrbo for many years and I don’t want anything to affect my ability to continue. So I’m leaving the full story just in case. Other than the lack of bedrooms for two couples we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and i do apologize for my misunderstanding about check out time. The sudden cancelled flights did throw us all off since we were all heading back to different parts of the country, there were no rental cars or shuttles, nowhere to go, etc. Will not happen again.
Perfect space for a group of 10. Easy to ski in/out. Well stocked kitchen.
