Perfect location

Our cabin on the Ogontz camp property was just perfect for a little getaway and a change of scenery. The cabin was cozy and well stocked with typical supplies. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They shared their delicious baked goods as well as respecting our privacy. Take advantage of the beautiful groups and use of kayaks/canoes if you go here!

Great Time!

We had a great time!!! These are cabins people. It was a lovely 3 bedroom Duplex Cabin away from the main portion of the campground. My sisters and I wanted some solitude to spend time with each other and we had a blast. Cabin has all the amenities of home with a massive chimney and wood stove in the center of the main living area. A beautiful tiled shower with seat. There were boats if we wanted them, a dining hall with a little gift area. A small waterfall just short walk from the cabin. The staff were really laid back people who were willing to accommodate our needs to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Again, these are cabins, on a mountain and the internet can be sporadic. But we didn't go there to spend time on phone and tablets. Oh I forgot about the deer in the field. My only regret is I didn't get to try the outdoor shower! Thanks Rick, Dave, Ethan and staff, Joyce, Betty and Pam :)

Rustic

My mother and I enjoyed the quiet getaway. It is rustic and had a great open concept inside the cabin. Rick was a great host and the staff was helpful and friendly. Could have been cleaner but overall it was great!

I had a great stay

The cabin had that rustic feeling which was good and was situated in a part of NH that is basically off the grid in a way. It was cold when I got there but the heater in the cabin was sufficient to heat the place up to a comfy temperature. The owner also provided a mini fire pit and wood for me to get a small fire going just outside the cabin. For the most part, the region where the cabin is was very peaceful and not many cars drove by. The bed where I slept was comfortable as well as the furniture too. There is also a decent view of the white mountains from where the cabin is. The only thing I would've like to have is a ceiling on the bathroom because although it was fine without it (since I was alone) I'm not sure it'd work if I had other guests staying there with me. With a ceiling, it'd be more private. I also liked how they had a lemongrass essential oil spray available for the bathroom (which I didn't need since I was alone but would be nice if I was with others for sure). It was also nice for the cabin to have dishes and pans etc available to use. The coffee maker was a little dirty but I didn't use it since I didn't drink coffee while staying there but I'm sure others may want to use it and would like it cleaned and ready for their use. Also, with the sounds of the stream nearby, and a few cars passing by on occasion, it wasn't as quiet as I'd like. But I'm just super picky I guess. Overall, for the location, price and feel of the cabin, I'd highly recommend this place!
