Attention

The clean of the house is poor and the kitchen need more atention on utensils specially if people that comes like to cook like us!! The pool doesn’t have heat and that’s fine but never heard that jacuzzi doesn’t have heat!!!

Christmas Vacation 2024

The home was nice and all, but it could use a deep clean. This house was left cleaner than when we arrived. Dishwasher was broken and leaked all over. And who ever heard of a hot tub not having heat, let alone unheated pool. There was no BBQ grill. The guest parking was ridiculous and not nearly enough. Also maybe having a little extra bedding, and towels. But like i said it was a nice home but there are some improvements that could help. Resort pool and hot tub were amazing. Lazy river way to cold!

Disappointing

House was mostly clean and functional but we had ants in one bathroom, a shower curtain that wouldn’t stay up, a hot tub that couldn’t be heated, a house that sleeps 12 people yet we had only 8 forks and 8 spoons in the kitchen. Very little in the way of pots and pans for cooking etc. There was no way this was a kitchen equipped to make a meal. Glass glasses in a house where you’re bound to have young children. A Tv in every room but only 2 were useable. Overall a disappointing experience which could have been avoided with some forethought by the owners.

Exactly like the pictures!!!

It was very clean!! Had exactly what you needed! The pool was a little dirty but we didn't use it anyway! The amenities was worth the price! The pool was heated had nice slides and a good restaurant on site!! Would definitely recommend this property!! Every room had its own bathroom!!!

House was dirty, hot tub didn't work

The house was physically fine, It was dirty. Sheets were stained when we first arrived, same with pillow cases, some bugs in the bathrooms and a roach was in the big bed downstairs when we came back the 2nd night. Hot tub didn't ever get hot, the water filter in the fridge was showing the red light.

We had so much fun. It was comfortable and felt like home. The house was clean and had all the amenities to keep us and the kids entertained. We would stay here again!

Congested area

Every time we went anywhere we either had to pay tolls or get on I-4 which was a huge traffic jam at all hours of the day. The layout of the house was nice but it could use some routine maintenance and better cleaning. The neighbors were loud at all hours of the night and the security patrol all night with their flashing lights kept us up. I guess it’s a trade off for the price. If your looking for close to Disney without the Disney price this is for you.

Très confortable pour un groupe de six adultes

Il s’agissait de notre 5e ou 6e séjour au Solterra Resort. Nous y retournons car le quartier satisfait tous nos besoins; sécurité, propreté, tennis, piscine, gym, etc. La maison louée ce printemps est spacieuse et confortable. Entièrement, à notre satisfaction. Des ajustements ont facilité l’accès au quartier. C’est une grande amélioration, très appréciée. Seule petite ombre.. le mobilier qui agrémente l’espace piscine devait comprendre six chaises.. il y en avait trois dont une brisée. Les deux chaises longues étaient brisées aussi. Nous comprenons que, probablement, plusieurs locataires sont peu respectueux des biens d’autrui. Si vous êtes un locataire potentiel, prenez soin de la maison comme si c’était la vôtre. Tous les locataires à venir y gagnerait. Bref, pour mon groupe, encore cette année ce fut une superbe expérience que nous répéterons. Merci au locateur Florida Scandi Vacation et à VRBO.

Very nice

Location was great! House was fine. I wish the pool and hot tub were heated but I was told in the description of the property that they were not heated. Second we could have used a few more towels and especially wash cloths. There was only one wash cloth per bathroom and one hand towel. Otherwise all was good. Loved the neighborhood pool close to House!

Was pleasantly surprised with the spacious living quarters and updated kitchen and bathrooms. This place was spotless. Looks brand new! Would highly recommend to anyway. There is only one draw back which is the entrance to the resort. Takes you at least forty-five minutes to enter off the main one lane road coming in from RT 4 to the Guard Gate. One night it took us over and hour. Very frustrating, but if you can over look that you'll love this community. We would stay again.

Great value

We loved staying at this property. We were 5 adults and 2 children and never felt crowded. There was very close proximity to the common pool area from the backyard which the kids liked. Some basic condiments ( even salt and pepper) or cooking oil would have been appreciated. More dishwasher pods would have been nice. Highly recommended.

Did not meet expectations

The description said the pool was not heated but did not explain that the hot tub was connected and was not heated also. We booked this house for an extended stay and the hot tub was not repaired or any attempt to be repaired. I tried to contact the seller about the heat being locked in at 70 degrees and it was very cold in that house during the time when the entire east coast had cold winter weather and it took two days for them to reply to my communication. There was always a very long line to check into the sub division. Taking 20-30min to get to the house. In addition to that there was very limited parking and no overflow parking. The furniture was very low quality and not sturdy. The legs on the chairs were wobbly and we were afraid someone would fall and hurt themselves. There were holes in the sofa and it was not sturdy. The blinds were falling off when you opened them. There were screens missing in the screened in pool area allowing Mother Nature in. The house was clean and if they put a little money back into it, the house could be a nice place to rent. Tamara

Great house but filthy and clumsy

House has great layout, spacious and bright. The front yard was muddy. The pool and jacuzzi water were freezing (as listed). Kitchen counters were sticky upon arrival. The towels were flat out disgustingly dirty. The linen wasn't fresh. Provided Wi-Fi credentials didn't work, but we found the modem and router, and got the password off the bottom of the device. The TV in the master bedroom wasn't plugged in properly. Furniture was weak.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. We had completed the virtual check in so the check in process was very easy! The resort was real nice and the amenities were easy to access. Parking was a little inconvenient since you couldn’t park in front of house you had to find street parking. Overall the stay was great. Also the gate stayed busy a lot and was often backed up into road

Great Family Space

Lovely home as described on vrbo. Property management was super responsive especially given that we checked in on a holiday weekend. Very spacious and footsteps away from the clubhouse, water park and gym. Kitchen had everything needed to cook fo a large family. Room layout still gave us parent's peace and serenity away from kids. Can't wait to book again.

Family rental home

Positives: This is a large home in a gated community, everyone has their own bathroom, standard coffee maker, kitchen stocked well with basics. There were plenty of towels and a washer and dryer. The air conditioner works great! We went to Disney all week and it was a 20 minute drive most days (45 if traffic was bad on 2 occasions). Close to several Publix and short drive to a lot of restaurants Negatives: we did try to use the hot tub but even with 100 temps outside it was too cold to enjoy. The pool and patio area was dirty, no one got in the pool, belongings from previous guests on the side of the pool also. The outside dinning table was nice and we ate at it, the lounge chairs were mildewed and we did not sit on them. The beds were hard as a rock, and pillows were flatter than anything I can describe. The community pool/center is right through the back yard so if you have kids this is a great spot. Overall it was a clean unit, the bedding was clean, showers and bathrooms were very clean. Just needs better upkeep/updating where things are worn out. The staff is very responsive and sends maintenance to fix things promptly.

Had some issues

Renting process through VRBO was easy and accurate. The property needs a deep clean ( carpets , dirt on trim , walls , window sills) and some major repairs ( patio door won't lock , garage door opener broken , vertical blinds fall off everytime you open or close them , bench in downstairs master has a broken leg and the pool filtration system wasn't working , even though we called maintenance, noone showed up to fix it so couldn't use the pool ) although I rented it for the amount of bed/baths it had , it would have been nice to use the pool while there.

Wonderful Super Time at the house. Very relaxing and spacious.

It was just what the pictures describe. I was really happy with everything. There was a few hiccups but. They took care of it right away. Wish the hot tub was heated but that did not take away from the fun we had. My family and I was very happy. Will rent again. The staff was awesome. Special thanks to Joelean she really made our stay perfect.
