Weekly stay July 4th Holiday; 4 night minimum stay Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend.

Private Mini resort on 1.86 acres located on all-sports Rennie Lake. We offer a 1250 sq ft house has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. Full bath with shower tub combo, remodeled full kitchen with dining table with seating for 6-7 and private smaller deck. Common area has large sun deck, fire pit near the water and a private beach. Additional fire pit is on the opposite side of the driveway. House has A/C, washer & dryer, fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, cookware, and no WIFI (Your own hot spots and cellular connection is available with your cell phone carrier). and bed linens/pillows are provided. You MUST bring your own bath & beach towels.

Master bedroom has queen bed, 2nd bedroom has queen bed and twin bunk bed, 3rd room has twin day bed w/ trundle (2 twin beds), and full futon in the basement. The basement has a laundry room with washer/dryer (you must supply detergent) and has door that leads to backyard.

No early check in or late check out. No Smoking or Vaping inside, Pet fee is $25 per pet per night (must disclose before rental)

Property also has a house next door under VRBO #4815356 that can be rented separately for additional guest accommodation (sleeps 5). Please note there is NO PUBLIC boat launch. We do NOT allow parties or any kind, loud music, or outside guests.

Private, fun cottage

Great little place for friends to hang out and play on a private and quiet lake. Had everything we needed - clean, good beds, well stocked kitchen, beach, outdoor space, great swimming, etc. It was the perfect atmosphere for our group to get some much needed R&R. Can’t wait to come again next year!

Great location on lake

The home was on the lake with a great community area with picnic tables. We also rented the cottage next door for some of our vacation. The beach area and fire pit was great with the children fishing off the dock and swimming every day. The only issue was wasps/bees but we had read previous reviews and were prepared. Wonderful memories for all

Lake visit.

Property was nice . Group was 76 to 80 year’s old. Going down the hill to beach was difficult could use some steps . Had a bee problem but it was addressed quickly. Basement was damp and musty needed a dehumidifier running.

Family Vacation

We had a nice stay. House was clean overall and had almost all of the amenities we needed. The property was nice and is in a great location. We did book both houses on the property to have all common areas to ourselves. Glad we did this as the houses are very close together and we enjoyed having the beach area to ourselves.

Rennie Lake

Clean home with lots of room on calm inland lake made for a pleasant stay. The owners were kind and responded quickly to request for kayak and paddle board rental. Our family spent quite a bit of time fishing off the dock and enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit down on the beach. location wasn’t far from downtown TC, so we enjoyed several activities there during the Cherry Festival without having to drive a long time. If you want a quiet, relaxing place for a family holiday, this property would be a smart choice.

Family Trip

All was good, nice, clean, comfortable house. Being an older adult with some mobility issues, it was a little rough. I could not get to the lake and some outside steps were not good for me.

We had a really nice stay at this place. Not too far from the TC district. A lot of off roading you can do along with hiking and biking very near by. Rennie lake is beautiful! Perfect spot for sunrises and sunsets. Fishing is must! Plenty of bass to catch! You definitely get a cardio workout going up and down the hill to the beach! No steps. Lots of room in the house. Could have used a light over the stove. Did ask for one, but did not receive one during our stay. Hopefully it will be replaced for the next renter. 🙂

Good but not great

The house was clean. The kitchen was nice and it was nice having a washer and dryer available. It fit my family of 5 plus my parents. And the house manager was very responsive to questions. It wasn’t too far from town, so the location was good. It wasn’t clear that the beach area was shared between two houses. There were wasps all over the beach, so we didn’t really use it too much. The hill down to the beach was also very steep and difficult to get up and down. The bathtub has black marks that look like feet that make it look dirty. The water pressure was lacking, I didn’t really feel clean after using the shower. The “wi-fi” is a joke. I would recommend not listing this as a feature because it’s unable to support basic uses for a family. The cable available was nice, though lacking many sports channels such as ESPN and the TV is not a smart TV so streaming wasn’t available.

Rennie lake resort

Everything was clean. Was exactly as described except for the 33 ft elevation difference from the home to the lake. We had a few elderly members that couldn't enjoy the lake because of the climb back up to the homes.

Great house for a family

We had a wonderful family vacation at this house. It was cozy but perfect for our needs. The shared beach space was so great for fishing, kayaking, and sitting by the fire. The kitchen had everything we needed to make actual meals for our family. We loved Rennie lake. It was quiet and full of bass for fishing! The owners were very responsive and helped promptly when we had questions! Would love to stay here again!

Beautiful & Quiet!

House was absolutely beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay. Even though there was only one bathroom, we effectively made it work with our large group. Wish we were able to utilize the outside pieces of the property but with the amount of rain we weren’t able to very much.

Contemplated even writing a review until we were charged for cleaning. Laughable.

The owner stated we left the place in basically a disgusting mess.... interestingly enough, besides not wiping out the refrigerator it was gross the moment we walked in. We didn’t want to leave a poor review as it could possibly hurt the owners’ profits. We love small business and always use home rentals. I’m sure we will get a response stating a plethora of ridiculousness- sheets were stained, yep they were the day we entered, furniture moved, not at all, stuff on walls, had to have been there already or it was 2 feet high on the walls and we missed it as we had little children with us... the list goes on but in all honestly it was horrific from the moment we walked in. Believe who you want.... I’m just trying to save others from being in this mess. We can’t fight it and I hope the owners truly did use the deposit and rent to hire a crew to deep clean the place as it desperately needs it!!! Here is our honest review: Upon arriving we were welcomed with an extremely unpleasant odor- stale cigarettes and old deep fried food. It felt stale and sticky and we immediately wanted to take a shower. But wait, once we took a shower immediately filled 1/2 way up the tub with dirt and grime and we received, more accurately, a “sh-ath” (shower bath combo). The bathroom looks nice but nothing drains- sink or tub. The water which is well, has no filter or softener so it is tinted orange and smells like pennies. (We actually have well water at our own home. It could be treated easily). The windows are quite literally rotting out. The basement gives you the feeling of being in an old civil war slave cellar. It’s freezing and damp. No one in their right mind would ever sleep down there. Every sheet and bed was similar to being at summer camp and that is what we kept telling ourselves in order to be fine with being in the range from slightly dirty to covered in grime the entire 4 1/2 days. You will never feel clean after that “shath” experience. The beach area is actually pretty nice but very overgrown. Kids had a great time because they were 4, 6 and 8. This is not the owners fault but we had to pull leaches off the kids after getting out of the water. Like I said- I’m sure there will be an aggressive response to this from the owner. At this point I’m out thousands and there isn’t anything we can do. We should have called them immediately. We were trying to be understanding and teach our kids to be grateful no matter their surroundings. Our bad.
