Wonderful time in San Fran

Debra was great with communication…upfront, checking in during our stay and at the end. Home is in a great neighborhood within walking distance to public transit and a cute stretch of shops and restaurants. We also loved the easy parking. Home was well stocked and comfy beds. Had a great stay!

This charming 2-bed house was perfect for our needs and was a very short walk to excellent Muni connections and to all necessities on the main drag of West Portal. Our host was very communicative and responsive. Would certainly consider staying here on a future trip.

Wonderful place in a cute neighborhood

Deb’s place was perfect for my family and I when we came to San Francisco to visit my parents. The home was lovely, comfortable, and neat - a real home away from home. The neighborhood was cute and walkable with local shops and delicious restaurants. Deb was a great host and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

This property was perfect in every way, the host was so kind, nothing was a problem and was so responsive. The location is perfect close to restaurants and bars, the house is so clean, has everything that you need to dine in, beds were so comfortable, has plenty of street parking I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Exceptional Stay close to UCSF

Our stay at this VRBO was exceptional. The location couldn't have been more perfect, especially for us needing proximity to UCSF. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, providing peace of mind throughout our stay. Of course, the comfortable beds and convenient parking were still standout features that enhanced our overall experience. But the added bonus of being within walking distance of charming shops and cafes truly made this VRBO a hidden gem. Nice place to stay in SF!

Unfortunately I was in San Francisco for a surgery at UCSF. I was there for one night and my family stayed on for five days. The house is very comfortable and fully equipped. It's in a great neighborhood and it has parking which is a major plus! Debra was a wonderful host. And if you are going to UCSF for any reason, it's very convenient.

Great location, lovely home

My daughter and I had a great trip to SF and this home was just right for us! Great location for picking up local transit, restaurants and stores close too. Loved that there was an assigned parking spot so we didn’t have to move the car! Lovely home, comfy beds, well equipped and clean! And great communication with the owner! Definitely a great place to stay!

Quiet and comfortable place to stay

This is a very lovely home with plenty of space. I needed a quiet and comfortable place to stay in the city for many days. The house is an older well-cared for, classic home with wood floors and accents. It is well appointed with comfortable furnishings and tasteful decorations, and comfortable beds. There are plenty of windows with lots of light and views to the hills and even the ocean and sunset when it is clear. The kitchen had everything we needed with more than enough dishes and utensils. The neighborhood is quiet and tucked away in the hills of the city, it was a great place for easy walks and always felt safe. Plenty of shops and stores in walking distance. Transportation light rail and muni is nearby in walking distance. The owner was a good and responsive communicator and very helpful to my specific needs. It was all i had hoped for. I would definitely stay here again, no hesitation at all.

Very comfortable

West Portal, where this super comfortable home is located, is a part of San Francisco that, though I'd worked in the City and visited countless times, I was unaware of. The area has everything for a base to explore the Bay Area. Walk to half a dozen good restaurants, solid public transport options, dynamic (sometimes a lotta fog) weather, and parks nearby. There's not much traffic and the neighborhood feel is authentic. The home has pretty much anything you'd need, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, spacious living room and dining area. Super quiet at night. Book this home and you won't be disappointed (and I'm picky!).

Great SF home in adorable neighborhood

Deb's property was perfect for my husband, son and me on our five-day stay in San Francisco. Close to everything but just far enough to be out of the fray, this two bedroom, one bath property was clean, comfortable and very homey. We had been traveling for several days prior so we were thrilled to have access to laundry. The owner Deb was easy to reach, pleasant and helpful. Will definitely stay again if/when we return to SF!

Fabulous Stay! Wonderful Host!

This was the perfect home and location for our visit to SF. It was so clean, cozy and comfortable with everything you need to feel "at home." Debra is a wonderful host and personally welcomed us which was such a bonus! It's a block away from several great restaurants in West Portal. We rented a car and parking is included-a huge plus since we didn't have to worry about street parking. It's easy to get to other parts of the city like Golden Gate Park, the Presidio, the Marina and the Golden Gate Bridge. And, SF Muni/Metro station is right there in West Portal for easy access to downtown. It's a fabulous home and our go-to for future visits!

Amazing stay!

My brother and his family stayed there while they were visiting me in SF. The location of the house and the layout was so perfect! Muni station block away gave them easy access to shopping in downtown and Stonestown mall. They also enjoyed the park across the street and the library 2 min away. Most of all, Debra was very thoughtful and communicative that we felt always welcomed. We will definitely come back. Thank you, Debra!!

Amazing property

Beautiful property in an excellent neighborhood. Two minute walk to the nearest metro stop. 15 minutes and you’re right downtown if you wish. Centrally located for access to all the usual tourist spots. Lovely owner who is super helpful. The property itself is a period home. We enjoyed the amenities. Comfy beds and pillows. Nice hot shower. West portal has a ton of restaurants. We just took takeaway most days and enjoyed dinner at home. Cooked breakfast most mornings. The kitchen is well stocked. All in all, an excellent stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!!

Comfortable apartment at perfect location

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The apartment itself is spacious, clean & comfortable. But it was the location that made our stay so memorable - just a short walk from the public transportation hub at West Portal with great restaurants and interesting shops. Wonderful homestay in an ideal location

Our family enjoyed a great week in this charming, well-equipped house. Arrival was seamless, and Deb was warm and responsive in making our visit a breeze. Location couldn’t have been better for visiting family in West Portal. Being a block from the train and having a worry-free parking spot in the driveway also made it easy to venture further afield. Charming Home in Wonderful, Classic SF Neighborhood

This VRBO is the entire main floor of a classic, historic small home (20's I think?) of the iconic architecture this area of San Francisco is known for; filled with bay and other large windows. The lovely interior is decorated consistent with the period, like you'd find in a professionally designed "bed and breakfast." The house is stocked with everything a traveler would need to feel comfortable (kitchen cookware/ condiments/ shampoos/ soaps/ linens, etc.) and this owner goes above and beyond to reach out to ensure everything is to your satisfaction before you even have to ask. She responds within minutes to any communications.(She even voluntarily and compassionately helped us with a family issue unrelated to our rental, which we will be eternally grateful for!) The VRBO also includes use of the washer and dryer in the garage. The location is superb; you are one block's walk away from a gem of a long-standing SF neighborhood filled with terrific family-owned restaurants, a bakery, book store, market, drug store, historic ice cream /candy shop, and basically anything you need. Also the quick SF public transportation muni/subway is also a block away, so you don't need a car to enjoy SF while staying here. However, if you do have a car, this VRBO provides parking in the driveway of the home (and parking is hard to find in most SF neighborhoods). My husband, our adult son and I spent a wonderful Christmas holiday here!
