Close to rail and shops

Self contained accommodation in a private house, own entrance and courtyard. Quiet cul-de-sac, walking distance to rail station to Brisbane city and local shopping centre. 5 min drive to beaches, swimming lagoon and alfresco dining. Room has security bars, double bed size, (not Queen), table/chairs, smoke alarms certified compliant, flat-screen TV, Shared use of pensioner WiFi. The kitchenette has sink, food prep area, portable hotplate, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee, tea. Separate prestigious bathroom for your exclusive use, with toiletries, towels, hairdryer, scales, iron & ironing board. For the elderly or less able: safety rails on both toilet and shower, and a shower chair. No air-con but usually unnecessary as room is on cool side of house with pedestal fan, and heater available in winter. Sorry, as a simple guest room it is not suitable for pets. We do not accept them as we are unable to provide facilities.
Before booking please note our check-in times are between 2pm and 8pm. Outside these hours service is not available, and prospective applicants may need to consider elsewhere, say with a night counter arrangement. We have a single off-road parking space for a small/medium size vehicle. If this suits your requirement, please make application.

Came down to attend the eats and cars event. Very handy location. Nice 15min walk to the event. Bed was comfy. Very cosy little place. Owner was very lovely, gave us a tour . Would stay again

Peace and quiet
My wife and I enjoyed our stay of one week, especially the peace and quiet of living in a court where the neighbours didn't make a sound.Our host was friendly and welcoming. He ensured we has everything we needed.The unit was just right for us 2 because we were out during the day and only needed a place to stay each night.

Affordable, clean, private and well managed
For me, a perfect location, close to shops and trains. The coastline is a short busride away, I like to walk, never did I feel unsafe, pleasant neighbourhoods and a shopping mall near by. Great communication with owner, who lives in main part of house, rarely seen 👍 Oh, and the shower is awesome

Budget-friendly Hidden Dwelling
Great for an economical stay as train/bus station and shopping centre is roughly a 10-15 min walk away. Some appliances are outdated but run fine. I stayed during summer, which lead to a couple of hot sleeps. No air con but a functional pedestal fan. Although most days were hot, the patio is cooler than indoors as cool breezes came through.I would recommend for anyone who wants a quiet affordable room to stay for a couple of nights.

Needed to stay in Brisbane due to an unfortunate event. Adrian was helpful and friendly. Check in was a breeze, bed was comfy, amenities were top notch. Will definitely stay there again.

Quiet little place
Adrian was a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to my needs/requests. The place was brilliant, great value for money and great location, Flat was clean and welcoming, the shower was great , added bonuses was the little kitchenette with the tea and coffee, all in all the flat was a great stay and would recommend it to anyone.

One of the chairs outside was resting on a brick my partber sat on the chair as nd fell which coild have turned ihto a nasslty accident as the chairs ate made of metal

Great little getaway
Lovely, quiet and comfortable little unit. Gracious and accfommodating hosts. Very close to public transport (bus, train) and local shopping centre. Would definitely recommend.

Cosy private hideaway handy to most everthing
Adrian is a gentleman of the old school, a kind warm host, who showed us great kindness. The room is a bit nostalgic but has all we needed within reason. The bathroom is spotless & spacious. Lovely courtyard to catch the breeze. Being from a cooler climate there was a few days where air conditioning would be most welcome as the room felt a bit hot but it did not last & we were quite comfortable after that. Redcliffe is nearby the jetty & seafront, & great new shopping centre walking distance & many more a short drive away. Thanks Adrian we will never forget your kindness

Adrian was very welcoming, and showed us through the property, he was on hand if we had any concerns The unit has everything you need , the bathroom was quite spacious. We stayed for a week, and I think it is ideal for short stays. We did find it lacking in utensils for cooking, no sharp knife, broken tongs, etc It does need a bit of updating and a good clean, but still adequate for a short stay
