My friends and I stayed at this condo for 18 days in late January to mid February, and we had a great time. Here is a summary of positives/negatives of our stay.
Positives:
-- Great location, literally ~100 yards from lifts
-- Amazing views from condo living area. Views of Flathead Valley and distant mountains. Great sunrises/sunsets and inversions.
-- Fully stocked kitchen; pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, etc
-- Bierstube apres ski ~1-2 minute walk.
-- No need a car since free shuttles to the base area, town, dining, grocery shopping, liquor store, etc. Shuttle ~4-6 minute walk from condo with regular schedule.
-- Access to large ski locker in a shared, heated room with a bathroom. Locker has an electrical outlet inside for easy boot drying or other device charging. Locker has enough room for several pairs of skis/poles but a little tight for same number of boots and/or helmets without.
-- Separate thermostats for each room.
-- Plenty of towels and washcloths.
-- Charile (the owner) was accommodating and generally quick to respond to requests/questions before/during our stay.
-- A ski shop is located ~3 minute walk.
Negatives:
-- Outside stairs getting to condo and inside to loft. Although condo is on the 3rd floor, outside entry stairs are only 2 flights of stairs due to slope of land is higher on entry side of condo. Position of first floor actually lower/down stairs than the condo main stairs entry point.
-- Upstairs loft does not have a door, although typical for lofts, but would have been nice to have a privacy door entering the loft.
-- Common/shared laundry; not inside condo. 2 washers/2 dryers. Laundry has change machine, laundry soap/dryer sheets vending.
-- Jacuzzi not operational during our stay, and did not learn this until we were on site. Very disappointed although not the condo owner's fault.
-- Fireplace flue was always open and could not be closed allowing a cold draft when not in use. Found a work-around placing the fireplace poker in a position to hold flue closed, but required careful positioning of handle to wedge against the metal log grate; it was actually a perfect fit.
-- Although the listing indicates the condo was remodeled recently, the kitchen, appliances, bathrooms were very dated and could have been updated during the remodeling. However, all appliances and facilities were functional.
