Perfect stay for us

The property is better than represented. The guest house is beautifully furnished and appointed, the bedrooms and bathroom are great. The "great" room (living, dining, and kitchen) is very spacious and comfortable. The star is the back deck and views of the yard and surrounding area. A great spot for your morning coffee from the Keurig coffee maker. This is a huge upgrade from a similarly priced hotel room.

Beautiful space

We stayed 8-days which were filled with family events and travel around the San Diego area. Great home base. We will come back and spend more time so we can enjoy the surroundings of the property even more.

Home Away From Home

This place proved to be the perfect option for my family. We were close enough to San Diego that it was a quick trip, but it also was far enough away that it was tranquil and quiet at night when we were ready to relax at the end of the day. The hosts were prompt in communication, but they also gave us our space. The fruit trees with ripe fruit were the "icing on the cake". We enjoyed several fresh fruits with our breakfast each morning. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Anya and Michael’s guest house is so cozy and comfortable. The location is beautiful and everything went so well. There are many nice touches and extras through out the home. It was a really perfect place to stay.

Perfect retreat

This is the kind of place I dream of having at my own home for guests! There was a ton of space, the kitchen had all that we needed, and the casita felt completely private and serene. Would highly recommend.

Mixed feelings

There were many positives about our stay. Very nice house and property. Comfortable beds. Great location. Unfortunately we ended with the hot water heater going out. No hot water for our last day. the owner was notified first thing in the morning and he texted me that due to it being a Sunday and St Patrick’s Day, it wouldn’t get fixed until Monday. Was hoping to shower before we left. As I realize things happen, it was an inconvenience and disappointment for all of us to not have hot water to shower before we went to the airport

Guest House

My family stayed there over holidays and it worked out great. One minor issue with WiFI was resolved quickly and no other issues. A lovely box of chocolates and quality bottle of wine was left at the door step Christmas Eve, a very thoughtful touch.

Home away from home

Good and quiet guest house

The guesthouse is located in a quiet, good and independent location on the property. The interior is somewhat dated here and there. Contacts with the host went well. Overall this location is highly recommended.

A beautiful guest house in Poway

This home was even better than we expected from the listing. We enjoyed the lovely and comfortable interior and especially the lovely patios and gardens. The hosts were most gracious. We look forward to returning soon.
