Cozy condo, Fireplace, hot tub, Wi-Fi, close to everything !

The condo:

Spacious, renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bath in the heart of Mammoth Lakes! Sleeps 4 with 1 comfy king bed and 1 queen Murphy bed. Steps from the green line bus stop that takes you through town, the village, and to Eagle lodge. Walking distance to restaurants/nightlife including Rafters, Jimmys Taverna, Roberto’s, Nik & Willy’s, etc. Private WiFi, easy self check-in with keypad locks! Bring your dog too!

DOG Friendly :) I do ask that guests use the supplied vacuum to clean up dog fur, and please use the provided furniture covers and blanket bed cover. Pet Fee - $25 per stay up to 2 dogs. No Cats sorry.

LOCATION - In the heart of town but set back from main roads, very quiet and peaceful.

The shuttle ride to and from Wildflower to Eagle Lodge is about 5 minutes. If you have a car you can also drive and park at Eagle.

UNIT INFO - Everything you need

Wildflower 21 “The Shady Rest” is a spacious (800 Sq ft) 1 Bed 1 Bath with a good layout. It is a ground floor unit, there are no outside stairs to enter (great when you are lugging lots of gear or heavy bikes). It is a corner unit with windows so it gets great morning light in the kitchen and great afternoon light in the living room! The kitchen has updated appliances and everything you need to cook a great meal.

BEDS
Can sleep 4. There is a comfy king bed in the bedroom and a new queen cabinet Murphy bed in the living room. The cabinet Murphy bed has a firm memory foam mattress and so much better than any pull-out sofa! No bars in your back!

FANCY FEATURES
The Living room features a 55” 4K flat screen TV, Roku, Netflix, Hulu, Blu-Ray player as well as a cozy, wood burning fireplace. There is also a 50” 4K Smart TV in the bedroom and we’ve got like 150 DVDs (mostly action;) on hand so snugglefest movie night is a def. The Wi-Fi is free and about 30Mbps speed, plenty fast enough to get work done.

WILDFLOWER COMMON AREA OFFERS:
An outdoor/covered shared hot tub and sauna is available year round a short walk to the unit. There is a changing room at the pool area so you don’t need to worry about walking back to unit all freezing wet. A great heated swimming pool is available in the summer months. There is also coin-operated laundry facilities on-site and parking is available right out front of the unit (2 cars max). An outside Storage/ski closet on the unit’s front porch is available for guest use.

Good value

Nice little condo in a central area. Everything was a couple minute drive away. Quiet area off the main strip. Appreciate that they are pet friendly and provide pet specific blankets to try to keep furniture clean. The couch was clean and the bed was comfy. Lots of dvds to enjoy at night. Had all the amenities we needed in kitchen. Unfortunately the outside woods area mentioned in listing as nice place for your pet to roam is now fenced off and they are developing it. Also, the hot tub area had a terrible smell around it and the color looked a little off. Could have been the trash right next to it but it made us not trust the cleanliness so we couldn’t get in. That was a big plus for us when we booked so we were bummed for sure. Not the condo owners fault obviously. Overall a good, affordable base for a couple days away in beautiful mountains.

We really liked staying at Mike’s place for the weekend while visiting friends. Comfy bed, comfy couches, everything to make a great stay. Super Dog friendly,w/dog bowls and covers for couch and bed provided. Thank so much Mike + family!

Great place to stay in mammoth

This place has everything you need for a place in mammoth. The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room were all very clean and the bathroom was nicely updated. Will definitely be staying here again!

The unit was perfect for my stay in Mammoth. Very close to the center of town, ample convenient parking. The condo was cozy and comfortable and the host Mike responded very quickly when I had a question. Would definitely stay in this unit again.

Great, first floor condo. All rooms were very clean. Living room coach is a bit old i guess. The property had almost everything in the kitchen. The wood fireplace was very nice and essential since it was 30 degrees F outside. Also found the instructions left on various labels throughout the condo was useful. Jacuzzi was just okay. Dog loved the condo. We were mindful of the owners requests. We would come back.

Mike was helpful and timely with my questions. Shower and changing room at the hot tub is a big plus. Quiet complex. Great location if you want to use the Eagle Lodge car park to ski Mammoth.

Great Place!

Just as advertised! The place was clean, had all of the amenities and was a comfortable landing spot for a few days. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and utensils. Would stay here again!

First trip of the season

Did a quick weekend trip to ride Mammoth with some friends. This place was in a perfect location, bed was comfortable, plenty of cool movies, board games in the closet, fire place, and more. Host was responsive, and directions/instructions for stay were clear.

Loved it!

Nothing but good things to say about our stay at Mike's place. Communication before arriving was super quick (like immediate!) and thorough. He was open and helpful to get us in early. The place is spacious, bright, and cozy. The kitchen has all you need to cook a yummy meal and the space is super dog friendly, inside and out. The beds were comfortable, big nice TVs in both rooms, and a Super Nintendo which was very exciting for our teenage son! We will be back for sure and highly recommend :)

Condo is great!

We stayed at Mike’s condo for one week. It is a very nice location. The inside is larger than I thought it would be and layout is great. My husband had an issue with the bed in the bedroom, but found the Murphy bed was more to his liking. We preferred to use bottled water, as the water tasted “off”! Also remember to bring firewood, firewood is $8/a day at the grocery store in Mammoth. All and all a perfectly great condo.

The condo was exactly as described! Everything was pretty much there needed for cooking. Communication with Mike was great! My dog loved the place and the woods close by to explore. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming back again.

VRBO Mammoth

Overall it was a clean place. Older place with some updates. Expected to have all items available for dogs. We respected what owner requested for coverage of furniture (w/pets), but items not available and owner said to use alternate, which wasn’t there either. Shower hard to get into due sliding door opening on one end. Recommend update heating system with 1 control, not 3. Would set heaters and then several hours later it would go down by 10 degrees. Need to have outlets for electronics. Very noisy from upper tenant’s flushing toilet, shower, walking, etc.

Our family is Mike & Courtney and doggie Rosie. We currently live in San Diego but grew up back east. We love everything California has to offer and we travel both domestic and international quite often.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Mammoth Lakes the first time we went up to ski last year. After visiting in the spring and summer and fall its an amazing retreat year round! Fishing, hiking, Yosemite, many outdoor activities! Our condo is in the Wildflower Complex which is has a really amazing park like setting with a wooded area adjacent to it. Great for walking the dog and just being in the woods !

What makes this property unique

The town location of this condo is great in the all seasons. It's a 5 minute drive or quick free shuttle to the ski lodge. The shuttle runs often and is really easy. The complex has a great hot tub and swimming pool in the summer months. We have a private deck off the living room and a wood burning fireplace for the cold nights ! It's classic with some updated touches. We love it!
